That's essentially the core complaint in the hyper-partisan impeachment report coming out of scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff's witch hunt... By that criterion, scumbag/liar-nObama should have been impeached, because he specifically promised Putin that he, scumbag/liar-nObama, would go easy on Putin if Putin helped scumbag/liar-nObama get re-elected. While the fake news media have done all they can to make sure you never heard of scumbag/liar-nObama's quid pro quo with Putin, we know that it happened because of what scumbag/liar-nObama was heard to say to outgoing Russian president Medvedev, with the intent that Medvedev pass that on to incoming Russian president Putin, in 2012, when he thought the microphones were off. "On all these issues, particularly on missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him Putin to give me space," scumbag/liar-nObama said. "This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”" What scumbag/liar-nObama was doing is clear. He was offering to be more "flexible" in doing what Putin wanted if Putin agreed to leave scumbag/liar-nObama and the U.S. alone until after the election was over. This is precisely what the Democrats are accusing Trump of having done: offering a bribe to a foreign leader to induce that leader to help scumbag/liar-nObama get re-elected. The "space" that Putin gave scumbag/liar-nObama played a major role in the 2012 election. A big point in the 2012 election was when scumbag/liar-nObama mocked rino-Mitt Romney for rino-Romney's concern about Russia. scumbag/liar-nObama said: Gov. rino-Romney, I'm glad you recognize al-Qaeda is a threat, because a few months ago, when you were asked what is the biggest geopolitical group facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaeda. You said Russia. And the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back. Because the Cold War has been over for 20 years. If Putin hadn't been giving scumbag/liar-nObama "space" in return for scumbag/liar-nObama's promise to be good to Putin, rino-Romney would have been able to eviscerate scumbag/liar-nObama for saying something so wrong. But precisely because scumbag/liar-Obama had reached out to Putin and bribed him with the promise of U.S. policy being what Putin wanted it to be, rino-Romney was left unable to show what everyone now, even Democrats, agrees is the case: Putin is a threat to the U.S. After being re-elected scumbag/liar-nObama held up his end of the bargain by canceling the last phase of a European missile defense system that Russia "fiercely" opposed, according to...wait for it...the New York Times! scumbag/liar-nObama tells Putin — via Medvedev — in early 2012 that if Putin gives scumbag/liar-nObama "space," thereby helping scumbag/liar-nObama get re-elected, he, scumbag/liar-nObama, will have more flexibility on missile defense, and then, voilà: once scumbag/liar-nObama is safely re-elected, he cancels the missile defense program that Putin wanted canceled. Doesn't get much clearer than that. scumbag/liar-nObama colluded with Putin to win the 2012 election...

Demolishes Anti-Trump Witnesses

{ westernjournal.com } ~ The House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry resumed Wednesday with a public hearing in the Judiciary Committee featuring four purported law professor “experts” on impeachment and the Constitution... Three of those witnesses were quite obviously and overtly biased against President Donald Trump and in favor of impeachment, and one of them — Stanford law professor Pamela Karlan — even took an underhanded and unwarranted shot at the president during her testimony by referencing the name of his youngest son, Barron. Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz would have none of it. Gaetz ferociously called her out for “bullying” the young son of the president while noting that none of the witnesses had firsthand knowledge of an impeachable offense committed by President Trump. The snide remark from Karlan about Barron Trump came while she was answering questions from Democratic Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee. The professor argued President Trump viewed himself as being akin to an all-powerful monarch, as evidenced by his son’s name — a lame joke that prompted chuckles from Jackson Lee and some in the audience. “I’ll just give you one example that shows the difference between him and a king, which is, the Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility,” Karlan said of Trump. “So while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron.” Later, when Gaetz had the opportunity to ask questions, he took Karlan to task for that unnecessary reference to the president’s son as a means to attack the president. Referencing prior statements from Karlan that were disparaging of conservatives, and noting how such things from law professors in “ivory towers” like her strained their credibility with the American people, Gaetz was interrupted by Karlan as she attempted to launch another attack on the president, but he wasn’t going to allow that to happen. “Excuse me, you don’t get to interrupt me on this time,” Gaetz said. “Now let me also suggest that when you invoke the president’s son’s name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump, that does not lend credibility to your argument.” “It makes you look mean. It makes it look like you’re attacking someone’s family, the minor child of the president of the United States,” he continued. Then Gaetz displayed just how meaningless the testimony of the “witnesses” truly was, and said, “If you have personal knowledge of a single material fact in the scumbag/liar-Schiff report, please raise your hand.” When not a single hand was raised, the congressman called for the official record to reflect as much. Rep. { townhall.com } ~ Should U.S. citizens have input into whether their neighborhoods are fundamentally and permanently transformed into United Nations refugee camps full of welfare dependents and tax burdens?... Government-funded charities that profit mightily from the federal refugee resettlement program say: "Hell, no!" But President Donald Trump and growing numbers of informed Americans across the heartland are raising their voices to say: "Heavens, yes!" This week, an extraordinary revolt took place in Bismarck, North Dakota, where an overflow crowd of residents braved subzero temperatures to register their opposition to allowing the Lutheran Social Services to dump any new refugees in their backyard. Thanks to an executive order signed by Trump in September, local communities now have explicit opt-in rights to stem the lucrative tide of refugees coming largely from Third World countries and jihadist breeding grounds. Open borders legal groups are, of course, challenging the order in court. These zealots object to states and localities exercising self-determination when it comes to rejecting refugees because it would undermine "national immigration policy," yet they promote illegal immigrant sanctuary policies in states and localities that create uncontrollable criminal anarchy. While GOP Gov. Doug Burgum signaled his support for increased importation of refugees, Brian Bitner, chairman of the Burleigh County Commission, echoed the concerns of his constituents. "North Dakota is already the highest per capita state for refugee resettlement in terms of number of citizens, so in the absence of any sort of number, there's no way we could know the cost to the state or the county, and I simply can't support that," Bitner told local media at the Bismarck protest. Similar outbreaks of resistance have taken place in Maine, New Hampshire, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Vermont, Wyoming and Tennessee over the years. But many Americans remain alarmingly clueless about the four-decade-old, tax-funded racket lining the pockets of nine privileged, nonprofit contractors and scores of their subcontracting partners like Bismarck's LSS:--Church World Service--Ethiopian Community Development Council--Episcopal Migration Ministries--Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society--International Rescue Committee --U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants--Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services--United States Conference of Catholic Bishops--World Relief Corporation. As I report in "Open Borders Inc.," the U.S. State Department pays each agency $2,125 per refugee for initial reception and placement; the nonprofits can take up to a 45% cut and use the rest for the initial resettlement costs. { dailycaller.com } ~ Two Republican senators leveled a bombshell allegation nearly two years ago that Trump dossier author Christopher Steele may have lied to the FBI... about his contacts with journalists before the 2016 presidential election. Whether Steele indeed lied to the bureau is one of the many unresolved questions looming over the Russia probe. But it could be settled Monday, when the Justice Department’s inspector general releases a much-anticipated report that will dive into the FBI’s relationship with Steele. Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina referred Steele on Jan. 4, 2018 to the Justice Department for investigation into whether he falsely denied sharing details of his Trump investigation with journalists. The Republicans pointed to the FBI’s Oct. 21, 2016 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) application against former Trump aide Carter Page, which said Steele said he only shared his Trump-related information with the bureau and his client, Fusion GPS. “Source #1 provided the results of his research to the business associate, and the FBI assesses that the business associate likely provided this information to the law firm that hired the business associate in the first place,” reads the FISA application footnote. “Source #1,” or Christopher Steele, “told the FBI that he/she only provided this information to the business associate and the FBI,” it said. The claim is false, asserted Grassley and Graham. They pointed to a May 17, 2017 court filing Steele submitted in the United Kingdom in which he said he had contacts with multiple journalists in September 2016. It is not clear how many times Steele met with FBI agents in 2016 or when he would have told the FBI he did not have contact with the press...

{ spectator.org } ~ Anyone holding out hope that Wednesday’s impeachment hearing by the House Judiciary Committee would consist of thoughtful testimony from impartial constitutional scholars was destined to be disappointed... Four witnesses appeared, three of whom were chosen by Democratic Chairman scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler, who restricted the Republican committee members to a single voice of reason crying in the congressional wilderness. All of scumbag liar-Nadler’s choices were vehemently pro-impeachment, including two longtime Democratic donors who contributed to the presidential campaign of scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton and a regular columnist for a “news service” owned by Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg. Even the solitary Republican witness freely admitted he had voted for scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. That was Jonathan Turley, of the George Washington University Law School. Turley’s presentation, his personal political leanings notwithstanding, counseled against impeachment. His fellow law professors, Harvard’s Noah Feldman, Stanford’s Pamela Karlan, and the University of North Carolina’s Michael Gerhardt, all but shouted that the president must be removed. Never mind that the crimes of which Trump is accused in the impeachment inquiry report released by scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff’s Intelligence Committee remain unproven and that he has been denied due process. These academics insist he must go. Indeed, in the regular column he writes for Bloomberg, Professor Feldman warned the Democrats not to get bogged down in pesky legal arguments in their attempt to oust the president: House Democrats will shift this week from closed-door evidence-gathering to public impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump. The single most dangerous pitfall they face is allowing too much legal talk to obfuscate the fundamental wrongness of Trump’s conduct… Tactically, Democrats need to avoid legalism in impeachment because too much discussion of legal rules will give Trump’s defenders the chance to change the whole sordid Ukraine affair into a lawyerly argument about whether the inherent authority of the presidency allows a president to do whatever he wants in dealing with foreign countries. The president, as Feldman knows, is the sole organ of the nation with regard to foreign relations. He can’t “do anything he wants,” but nothing Trump said in his July phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky has been shown to exceed his legitimate powers. But the point of Feldman’s “tactical” advice has nothing to do with what the president did. It is about creating the false illusion of a fair process. It appears that Chairman scumbag liar-Nadler and the other Democrats on the Judiciary Committee staged Wednesday’s hearing for that purpose. Yet all three Democratic witnesses, without having read the scumbag/liar-Schiff report that outlines his alleged crimes, say Trump must be impeached. Professor Karlan, who has consistently donated money to Democrats including scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton, put it thus: I believe the evidentiary record shows … a president who delayed meeting a foreign leader and providing assistance that Congress and his own advisors agreed served our national interest in promoting democracy and limiting Russian aggression. And it shows a president who did this to strong arm a foreign leader into smearing one of the president’s opponents in our ongoing election season. That is not politics as usual — at least not in the United States or any other mature democracy. It is, instead, a cardinal reason why the Constitution contains an impeachment power. Put simply, a candidate for president should resist foreign interference in our elections, not demand it...

Nominated by President Donald Trump in August, Pitlyk will replace U.S. District Judge Catherine Perry in the Eastern District of Missouri... The U.S. Senate voted 49-44 to confirm her Wednesday afternoon. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) was the only Republican to oppose her nomination, and no Senate Democrats broke ranks to support her. Pitlyk is a strong human rights advocate and defender of religious freedom. Her work at the Thomas More Society, a leading pro-life legal group, prompted strong opposition from abortion advocacy groups and pro-abortion Democrats. “We congratulate Sarah Pitlyk on her well-deserved confirmation and are confident she will serve with distinction on the federal bench,” said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “With her world-class education, extensive legal expertise, and commitment to fairness and integrity, we are pleased to see Ms. Pitlyk prevail over partisan obstruction.” Dannenfelser thanked President Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the pro-life senators who voted to confirm her. Andrew Bath, Thomas More Society executive vice president and general counsel, praised Pitlyk as a strong Constitutional conservative with a towering intellect. Progressive, Feminist Culture Is Toxic, Not MasculinityLouis DeBroux: The “progressive” Left is waging a very dangerous war on the very foundation of civil society, seeking not only “equality” for women, but the destruction or feminization of men, which accomplishes the same thing. The war is waged against the foundational elements of society, such as marriage, gender roles, and even the concept of gender (or, more correctly, “sex”) itself.
And boys and men are taking the brunt of the attacks.
The American Psychological Association, once a respected scientific organization, has exchanged the pursuit of knowledge for the promotion of leftist ideological propaganda. Earlier this year, it released new guidelines for psychologists on how to work with men and boys. The new guidelines treat masculinity as a disease, declaring that “traditional masculinity — marked by stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression — is, on the whole, harmful.”
The goal of mental-health treatment for men, according to the APA, is to teach men and boys that what makes them who they are is, by definition, bad and harmful, and in need of eradication.
Is it any wonder men are nearly four times more likely to commit suicide than women?
Men are also being bombarded with harmful and contradictory messages. Our education system pushes to have boys diagnosed as ADD/ADHD and drugged simply because they are more rambunctious and active, which is their nature. They are bombarded with pornography and sexualized images in media at every turn, corrupting the natural goodness of the sex drive, but then mocked when they adhere to a code of morality and chastity. Leftists shame any male who exhibits typical masculine behavior, now dubbed “toxic masculinity.” They shame boys into abandoning their masculine nature and adopting feminine traits. When gender confusion occurs, boys are told they are girls trapped in boys’ bodies, needing surgical genital mutilation and hormone treatments to suppress puberty and the development of masculine traits.
This, combined with Democrat programs and policies that erode the importance of men — and especially fathers — in society, has created a witch’s brew of social ills.
The Left treats aggression as a disease to be cured, but aggression is a trait, not a behavior. If aggression is channeled into bullying as a child and domestic abuse as an adult, then that aggression has become anti-social and criminal. But if that aggression is channeled into protecting and defending the weak, then it should be applauded and encouraged.
But when you declare that men are “monsters to be constantly feared” (tweeted by a NYT writer), you are teaching women that the other half of the human race are, by their very nature, inhuman, evil creatures. And what does this do to boys? It creates men who are either feminized, weak, and self-loathing, or men who are angry and resentful at being declared evil from birth.
This view of men as monsters also makes it nearly impossible for women to see men in a loving, healthy light, and that has a direct impact on society as a whole. What woman in her right mind would make a lifetime commitment to a monster?
And deprived of any identity as a husband, father, protector, and provider, young men now increasingly shun marriage in favor of cohabitation. Despite claims that this makes no difference, cohabitation is a recipe for failed marriages and misery.
Is it any wonder so many of the mass shooters of the last decade or more are socially awkward, outcast, angry young men without fathers in their lives? We’ve known for decades that the lack of a father in the home is the single greatest predictor of criminal activity, yet we continue to denigrate, disparage, and dismiss manhood and fatherhood (try to think of a prime-time TV show where the husband/father is not portrayed as an adulterous lech or a hapless dimwit).
For thousands of years, across virtually every society and civilization, men have taken boys through rites of passage into manhood, teaching them how to be men, how to be husbands and fathers, providers, protectors, and defenders. Without a father, without this training and these rites of passage, boys are left aimless and angry, and their masculine traits, rather than being channeled into good and productive activities and behaviors, instead lead to crime, violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and suicide.
Speaking of masculine rituals, writer and academic Belinda Brown [noted(https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/women-can-make-children-but-only-men-can-make-men/), “Through this process, young men are inserted into a social order which transcends the particularistic concerns of their individual families. They are subordinated to the rules of their elders while their elders are the servants of a divinity which is representative of, and greater than, the whole. And yes, this is a patriarchy. But it is not a patriarchy which subordinates women. Rather, it is a patriarchy which tames and subordinates men].”
Or, as cultural anthropologist Margaret Mead noted, “Women make children, but only men can make men.”
The War on Men has resulted in declining birth and marriage rates, shorter life expectancies, and broken families.
If we want to achieve respect and equality for women, strong families, and a stable society, the solution is to raise strong, healthy men, rather than teaching men that they are defective women. ~The Patriot Post
