But if you glance below at all the Muslim events sponsored by Muslim Brotherhood front group, the ‘Muslim Student Association’ at Loyala (LUCMSA), you might think there’s way too much attention being paid to the tiny (<5%) minority of Muslim students at this Catholic University.

Campus Reform (h/t TruthRevolt) Muslim students who willingly enrolled in a Catholic university are now expressing dismay that come Christmas time, the campus is decorated for the holiday season. They want Islamic holidays to receive the same attention even though they represent just a small fraction of the entire student population.

Loyola University Chicago is 60% Catholic and 40% a mixture of other religions, including other Christian denominations, Jewish, etc. The individual categories aren’t broken down. However, out of a total of 16,673 students for this academic year, only about 800 Muslims are enrolled. That’s less than 5%, yet, they want their traditions to be represented equally.

A piece in the Loyola Phoenix, written by Sajedah Al-khzaleh, makes the plea:

It’s that time of year again, and Loyola has decked out its buildings with decorations for the holiday season. But Christmas gets more attention on campus than other religious holidays.

Although Loyola fosters a space for non-Christian religions to practice their faith — such as in the Damen Student Center’s second floor of Ministry Offices for Muslim, Hindu and Jewish students — there is a lack of public festivity compared to Christmas, such as decorations and activities of other religions’ holidays the entire student body could be part of.

And the above type of Muslim events take place every week in the Loyola University calendar year.

A 19-year-old Muslim student and a prayer coordinator for the terror-tied Muslim Student Association, Sajid Ahmed, said he likes the Christmas decorations around campus, but “wishes Muslim holidays were just as prominent.”

The entire campus is invited to a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, while Muslim students must celebrate in private without seeing the campus transformed into a Middle Eastern wonderland, the complaint continues.

“For someone who lives far away and doesn’t have the opportunity to meet up with family, I would say making Loyola’s Eid as festive as possible would be great so that [Muslim students] can feel connected with their heritage and with their religion,” said Ahmed. “I think if the leadership is exposed to the Muslim voice, the voice who wants to make campus more festive for other holidays, I think that’s definitely one step.”

Loyola’s associate director of the student complex, Bryan Goodwin, said that the school already tries to be more inclusive of other religions by decorating with secular icons like Santa Claus and ice rinks and by avoiding the phrase “Merry Christmas.” Goodwin said if any religious group requests a celebration, they could be accommodated.

So, even with a traditionally Catholic school turning its back on its foundations and using watered-down Christmas decorations, Muslims aren’t satisfied. Like they say, give a Muslim an inch, and they’ll destroy every mile. Same goes for leftist academia.

The United States is gripped by an “elevated threat” as the Christmas holiday approaches posed by homegrown violent extremists seeking to carry out “stray dog attacks” on behalf of the Islamic State warned a top U.S. national security official.

Robin Taylor also blamed the threat on the “pressure the U.S.-led coalition and their allies are applying on the jihadist organization in the Middle East.”

Kudos to the coalition. Jihadists everywhere are a global menace. The more success they have, the more emboldened they become. This is why appeasement never works with jihadists.

But the US and other allied forces should have long ago anticipated their return and taken aggressive measures to track them and prosecute them. Unfortunately this did not happen.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau referred to returning Islamic State jihadis as “foreign terrorist travelers” who are traumatized. He plans to give them “reintegration support,” an impossible venture funded by taxpayers. In Britain, ISIS fighters will “be offered taxpayer funded council homes and counselling to stop them attacking the UK,’” thus putting them “to the top of council house waiting lists and offered counselling.”

Western notions of reintegration and counseling for mujahideen are highly unrealistic. They’re proposed by leaders to appear as if something is being done. It was also reported by Jihad Watch that returning Islamic State fighters were planning attacks on Christmas holiday travelers to Trinidad, a country that was reported to have the highest ISIS recruitment in the Western hemisphere. Jihad Watch covered the threat to holiday travelers, which was cited by Minister of National Security, Edmund Dillon, at a recent Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Counter-Terrorism Strategy conference, of twenty Caribbean countries, according to the Trinidad Express.

Trinidad Member of Parliament Rodney Charles levied a criticism to Trinidad’s Prime Minister Keith Rowley that generally applies to Western leaders:

This government has no clue as to who left T&T for Syria, when they left, how many left, what are their connections back home, how they were recruited, who financed their travels, where our jihadists went, which battles they fought, what military skills they now possess, who died, who were captured, when will survivors return, and what we will do with them upon their arrival.
“Where are our plans Dr. Rowley? Stop the blame game and start working,” Charles said.

Western citizens everywhere remain in grave danger from these returning “stray dog jihadists,” and our leaders are at a loss to deal with them.

WASHINGTON, DC — The United States is gripped by an “elevated threat” as the Christmas holiday approaches posed by homegrown violent extremists (HVEs) seeking to carry out “stray dog attacks” on behalf of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), warned a top U.S. national security official.
ISIS has been able to retain its ability online to mobilize “HVE lone offenders attacks” against the United States even as its so-called caliphate in Iraq and Syria “collapses,” Robin Taylor, a top intelligence official at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), told the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee during a hearing Wednesday.
Lora Shiao, the acting director for intelligence at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), a component of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), further declared that despite the losses the group has suffered in Iraq and Syria, its social media reach remains “unprecedented.”
On Wednesday, Shiao told the Senate panel while testifying alongside Taylor:
We do not think battlefield losses alone will be sufficient to degrade its terrorism capabilities. As we have seen, the group has launched attacks in periods when it held large swaths of territory and when under significant pressure from the defeat-ISIS campaign.
In addition to its efforts to conduct external attacks from its safe havens in Iraq and Syria, ISIS’s capacity to reach sympathizers around the world through its robust social media capability is unprecedented and gives the group access to large numbers of HVEs.
The online menace posed by ISIS remains persistent, stressed Taylor, the acting deputy undersecretary for intelligence operations at the DHS office of intelligence and analysis, telling lawmakers:
ISIS members continue to attempt to recruit and radicalize to violence Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVEs) through social media. The reach and popularity of social media has enabled HVEs to connect more easily with terrorist organizations, such as ISIS.
We assess there is currently an elevated threat of HVE lone offender attacks by ISIS sympathizers, which is especially concerning because mobilized lone offenders present law enforcement with limited opportunities to detect and disrupt their plots.
Mark Mitchell, the Pentagon’s acting assistant secretary of defense for special operations/low-intensity conflict who also testified, said that ISIS would likely increase its reliance on its online capabilities as it continues to lose on the battlefield.
In his written testimony, Mitchell stated:
As ISIS loses territory in Iraq and Syria, its operations will become more distributed and more reliant on virtual connections. Their terrorist cadres will migrate to other safe havens where they can direct and enable attacks against the United States, our allies and partners, and our global interests.
They will also continue to radicalize vulnerable individuals and inspire them to conduct “lone wolf” (or “stray dog”) attacks. We will continue to see ISIS and al-Qa’ida threats to our homeland, as well as our allies and partners, from locations in Afghanistan, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Balkan States, among other locations.
The DHS official proclaimed that the al-Qaeda (AQ) terrorist threat still grips the United States more than 16 years after America’s war on terror began in response to the September 11, 2001, attacks.
Taylor revealed in his written testimony:
Core AQ and its affiliates remain a major concern for DHS. Despite the deaths of many AQ senior leaders, the group and its affiliates maintain the intent, and, in some cases, the capability to facilitate and conduct attacks against U.S. citizens and facilities. The group and its affiliates have also demonstrated that capability to adjust tactics, techniques and procedures for targeting the West.
Despite the near collapse of the so-called ISIS caliphate in Iraq and Syria, the threat posed by the terrorist group is “evolving” as the jihadist organization desperately tries to maintain its strength and influence, noted Taylor, telling Senators:
ISIS fighters’ battlefield experience in Syria and Iraq have armed it with advanced capabilities that most terrorist groups do not have. Even as the so-called “caliphate” collapses, ISIS fighters retain their toxic ideology and a will to fight. We remain concerned that foreign fighters from the U.S. or elsewhere who have traveled to Syria and Iraq and radicalized to violence will ultimately return to the U.S. or their home country to conduct attacks…..

What do you get when you have an individual who was acquainted with the founders of al-Qaeda and recruited into a terrorist cell by one of them; who was sentenced to death for the murder of an Egyptian policeman; who is consistently leveling threats at world leaders; and who is currently living in the United States? The answer can be nothing short of ‘Trouble.’ The individual in question is Muslim Brotherhood operative and Chairman of the March for Justice, Nidal Sakr. Recently, Sakr took to social media to call for the execution of President Trump. He is yet to be punished for his alleged murder. Will he be punished for this crime?

On October 19th, from a location in Huntington Beach, California, Nidal Mohamed Sakr issued the following in a tweet about Donald Trump: “GET RID OF SOB. IMPEACH OR ELSE!!!!!” The next day, Sakr reiterated his threat with even more obscenity. He tweeted, “GET RID OF THE MF. IMPEACH OR ELSE!!!!!” Ten days later, on October 30th, Sakr dropped the warning and outright called for the death of President Trump. He tweeted, “EXECUTE SOB TRAITOR Donald Trump.” And the same day, he tweeted, “Donald Trump, You Are TOAST… I GUARANTEE IT.”

To issue a threat against the President of the United States is a federal crime. As stated in US Code Title 18, Section 871: “Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President… or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President… shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

This was not the first time that Sakr has used threatening language against the President. In September, he wrote on Facebook: “FACTS ARE FACTS. Patriotic Americans Will Keep After SOB Donald Trump Until We Nail His ass. YOU WATCH!!” On innumerable occasions, Sakr has stated that Trump must be “sacked.” In August, he said the same for Trump’s family. He posted on his Facebook page, “Ivanka Trump, RUSSIAN BACKDOOR SAUDI/UAE/Israeli PRETTY BOY Jared Kushner MUST ALL BE SACKED. SACK’M ALL.”

In July, Sakr referred to Trump as an “enemy of God” and, in February, he warned Trump, “U come to ISLAM Or ISLAM WILL COME TO YOU.”

Of course, Sakr was furious, when President Trump said the United States was recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. For over two decades, US Presidents would sign waivers of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, which mandated that the US Embassy in Israel would be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Sakr took to Facebook and Twitter and took out his rage on both Israel and the United States.

On December 7th, Sakr tweeted, “GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!! Terrorist Apartheid Israel will be obliterated. You watch!!!” and (in Arabic) “Expel the Americans from Muslim countries. Close their embassies. And drop everyone who stands in your way. The Price of aggression against Jerusalem is the fall of America and its dogs Israel and Arabs.”

On December 6th, he tweeted, “Down with America!!!” On December 5th, he tweeted, “AMERICA MUST PAY FOR ELECTING / NOT SACKING POS SOB Donald Trump.” The same day, he tweeted, “ACTION ALERT WORLDWIDE!!! As you protest to shut down US embassies and expel Americans out of your country, Make sure to desecrate & burn a dummy of POS SOB Donald Trump. TEACH THE MF A LESSON!!!!”

Previously, in September, Sakr tweeted a graphic depicting Jerusalem, a Palestinian flag, and a hand gripping a bloodied knife with the description in Arabic, “Strike back and raise the flag above and across Jerusalem…”

All of this is, no doubt, alarming, but what makes it much more so is the background of the author of the postings, Nidal Sakr, and who Sakr associates with.

Sakr was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He describes himself as “US born from Palestinian origin.” In a videotaped lecture Sakr gave, in October 2012, he claimed that his mother is Egyptian and enlisted in the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin) at an early age, carrying weapons and ammunition for the group. He stated, “Let me be very clear about this. I was born into Ikhwan, and my mother actually is from the first generation of Ikhwan.”

Around 1970, Sakr joined a Brotherhood terrorist cell in Jordan that was conducting paramilitary operations against Israel. According to Sakr, the individual who recruited him into the cell was Abdullah Azzam, the future mentor of Osama bin Laden and co-founder of al-Qaeda. Also according to Sakr, he personally knew bin Laden. He stated, “Osama bin Laden, himself, was a student of Abdullah Azzam at King Abdul Aziz University. I know him personally. I know his brothers.”

Years later, during the Arab Spring, Sakr found himself in Egypt organizing rallies for the Muslim Brotherhood and advising Brotherhood leadership. Things got hot for Sakr and his Brotherhood colleagues, though, when newly elected Egyptian President and Brotherhood leader, Mohamed Morsi, fell victim to a coup against his government by the head of Egypt’s military, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who is currently Egypt’s President.

On Facebook, Sakr paints a picture of how dangerous, at the time, it was for him in Egypt. He writes: “Can you Imagine How Horrendous to Be in the Crowd Fired At? I CAN. I Was Fired At by Sisi n RABAA [Square in Cairo] for 12 Hours NON STOP…”

In March 2014, Sakr left Egypt to return to the US. Upon arrival, he was placed in handcuffs and detained. This event took place merely days before he was sentenced to death in Egypt for the murder of an Egyptian police officer.

Today, Sakr is related to addresses in South Florida, where he has resided in the past, and Southern California, where his wife is employed. Sakr has incorporated his nonprofit organization, March for Justice, in both locations.

The only address that Nidal Sakr should be related to in the United States, however, is one that contains prison bars. He is a danger to President Trump and to Americans in general.

Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital may have pushed Sakr over the edge to the point where he could easily turn from seditious words to hostile aggression. He certainly is no stranger to violence; he is linked to al-Qaeda’s founders and to a murder, and his threats must be taken seriously.

His call to execute President Trump is legally actionable. He should be arrested and taken off the streets immediately.

by Michael Swartz: In the weeks since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was introduced, Democrats (as well as a handful of conservatives) have tried to demo-gogue it for supposedly adding $1.5 trillion to our $20 trillion national debt over the next decade — a charge that would be laughable if it hadn’t come from a party whose most recent president nearly doubled that debt in just eight years. Fortunately, both the House and Senate have passed a version of tax cuts, and there’s a decent chance America may yet get its tax cut for Christmas, just as President Donald Trump promised.

But there remains the pesky question about adding to the debt, and the Left crows each time a new estimate comes out to reinforce their contention that tax cuts won’t pay for themselves. So it wasn’t exactly a secret that Republicans like House Speaker Paul Ryan are looking at the spending side, too — as they should. Needless to say, however, as soon as they come out with any such proposal, Republicans are met with condemnation from across the aisle.
“What’s coming next is all too predictable: The deficit hawks will come flying back after this bill becomes law,” said Oregon Senator Ron Wyden, adding, “Republicans are already saying ‘entitlement reform’ and ‘welfare reform’ are next up on the docket. But nobody should be fooled — that’s just code for attacks on Medicaid, on Medicare, on Social Security, on anti-hunger programs.”
Wyden’s statements, in turn, are just code for the media to start hunting down “victims” of these “draconian cuts” sure to come — because when Republicans bring up the prospect, someone like Bernie Sanders will helpfully translate it: “They just told you they’re going to cut Social Security!”
Being misrepresented by the opposition is no reason to avoid a necessary process, though, and Paul Ryan is no stranger to it. In 2014, even with nearly non-existent chances of adoption, Ryan put forward a “Path to Prosperity” that took a thoughtful look at a number of budgetary areas, chief among them repealing liar-nObamaCare and reforming Medicare and Medicaid. To him, it was a way to get government to give a hand up and not a handout.
Fast forward to the present day, and the speaker’s message is the same. “We’re going to have to get back next year at entitlement reform,” said Ryan, “which is how you tackle the debt and the deficit.” So we know Ryan understands the situation, but what about the rest of his party?
Certainly there are those in the GOP who figured reducing spending wasn’t the hill they wanted to die on, especially when it’s so easy to spend other peoples’ money to buy their votes. However, those who voted for Republicans over the last 40 years were putting their trust in a series of promises made about addressing deficit spending. (Ironically, it was a Democrat, liar-Bill Clinton, who got most of the credit in the ‘90s when spending was last curtailed to the point of budget surpluses. Yet it would never have happened without Newt Gingrich and the GOP-led House and Senate.)
Jonah Goldberg astutely observes, “As a matter of economic policy, conservatives believe that the people themselves are better at spending their money than the government is. Cutting taxes and regulations drives economic growth. Liberals, meanwhile, believe that the government is the prime, or at least an indispensable, driver of economic growth. This is why liberals tend to talk about spending on everything from infrastructure to education as an 'investment.’”
Goldberg’s point would be reflected in the Democrats’ argument that this latest round of tax cuts will drive up the deficit, but Republicans are willing to address this concern by spending less money. (In reality, what they would do in many cases is simply repackage the money as a block grant for states to spend as they see fit.) On the other hand, Democrats would rather spend the money and pay for some of it via a more steeply progressive tax system. But elections have consequences, and regardless of whether they had more popular votes last time around or believe the Virginia results are a precursor to the 2018 midterms, the Democrats are currently the minority party (and for very good reason, we might add).
Republicans desperately need the win on tax reform so they can start on entitlements, an issue crying out for bold solutions. Perhaps the most telling aspect of this situation is the wailing of the Democrats — who for eight years with their president refused to reach across the aisle and do something about it. Trump Touts Rejection of U.N. Plan to Force Mass Third World Immigration

At his speech in Pensacola, Florida Friday, President Donald Trump celebrated his decision to take America out of negotiations for the so-called “Global Compact on Migration.”
“I recently withdrew the United States from the United Nations plan for global governance of immigration and refugee policy,” Trump told the raucous crowd, calling the Global Compact a “no borders plan.”
“I heard about this recently … no borders, everyone can come in! If you don’t mind, I rejected that plan, is that OK?” Trump continued.
The plan Trump referenced was the United Nations’ (U.N.) “Global Compact on Migration,” to which the Obama administration pledged the United States participation last year. Talks began this week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on the massive United Nations (U.N.) plan to create “safe, regular and orderly migration,” from the third whole to wealthy countries in Europe and North America. On the eve of those talks, however, Trump reversed Obama’s decision and pulled U.S. negotiators.
“I told them, not only do we not want ‘no borders,’ we want the strongest borders you’ve ever seen,” Trump boasted. “America is a sovereign country. We set our immigration rules. We don’t listen to foreign bureaucrats.”
The details of the of the Global Compact are yet to be hammered out, but the outline to which the Obama administration signed on, called the “New York Declaration for Refugee and Migrants,” presents a nightmare scenario for immigration restrictionists and border security advocates.
The declaration stipulates that participating countries should drop laws criminalizing illegal entry and stop detaining illegal immigrants that are caught. Paragraph 33 “reaffirms:”
[T]hat all individuals who have crossed or are seeking to cross international borders are entitled to due process in the assessment of their legal status, entry and stay, we will consider reviewing policies that criminalize crossborder movements. We will also pursue alternatives to detention while these assessments are under way.
And later, the declaration calls for the end of all deportations, “encouraging” that “migrants who do not have permission to stay in the country of destination” leave “preferably on a voluntary basis.”
Perhaps most disturbingly to a country with as robust a tradition of free speech as the United States, the New York Declaration casts resistance to mass migration as racism, xenophobia, and illegal under international law. Paragraph 13 reads:
We recall that our obligations under international law prohibit discrimination of any kind on the basis of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Yet in many parts of the world we are witnessing, with great concern, increasingly xenophobic and racist responses to refugees and migrants.
Paragraph 14 then calls for so called “hate speech” laws to be mandatory:
Demonizing refugees or migrants offends profoundly against the values of dignity and equality for every human being … We will take a range of steps to counter such attitudes and behavior, in particular with regard to hate crimes, hate speech and racial violence.
In contrast, Trump offered an unapologetic populist-nationalist vision of national sovereignty and local governance. “America is more than a place on a map, it’s a nation, it’s a family,” he told the crowd. “Our agenda is pro-family, pro-police, pro-workers and 100% pro-American.”

What Trump Is About To Hand Over To The FBI And DOJ Has Officials Panicking

For the past eight years, everywhere you’d turn, you could’ve seen corrupted agents. It seemed like Obama got our backs for whatever we did. Ignore the Congressional investigations, ignore proves or evidence?

No problem, Obama would still support you. But behind his protection of the citizens he was actually protecting himself.
Trump and Sessions are different story.

They don’t close their eyes in front of corruption. Best example is the White House reaction when the FBI failed to charged Hillary for the crimes that she did. Maybe everyone else forgot about this, but Trump didn’t.

Although Hillary and the trouble that she carries is past, there are still some things that need to be fixed. We can start with cleaning the FBI from corrupted agents.

Even though the FBI is trying to protect their own spies, the White House and Congress are doing everything in their power to stop this.

As we are learning, the Congress is preparing the documents that will finally bring justice.

Breitbart reports:

“The House intelligence committee will begin writing a resolution Tuesday to cite top FBI and Justice Department officials in contempt of Congress after they missed a Monday deadline to turn over documents the committee.

The tipping point came after information the committee had been seeking for months was leaked to the New York Times and the Washington Post during the weekend.”

“Those stories revealed that top FBI agent Peter Strzok was removed from the special counsel’s Russia probe after he exchanged critical text messages about President Trump with another FBI agent with whom he was having an extramarital affair.

The committee asked months ago why the FBI removed Strzok but were never told the reason.”

Long story short, the FBI found a “rat” between them who was investigating Trump and Russia, and they fired him ASAP. They did what they did for two possible reasons. They ether didn’t want to make it look like they are against our President or they got scared that this will uncover their hidden acts (!?)

When the Congress asked the Bureau why did they fired Strzok, they raised shoulders and didn’t answer. But then, when the New York Times and the Post asked the same question, the FBI told the full story.

Why do you think they did that? Guessing that the Congress’s decision makes them sweat.

Memo to John Lewis: Democrats are the party of white racism

Georgia Democrat Rep. John Lewis refused to attend the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum because President Trump was there, yet he would have been the first to condemn Trump had Trump not gone. The irony is that much of the brutality, oppression, and denial of civil rights the museum records was committed by the party of white racism – the Democratic Party.

Reps. John Lewis and Bennie G. Thompson issued a joint statement full of righteous indignation but little truth in explaining their absence from the ceremony:

President Trump's attendance and his hurtful policies are an insult to the people portrayed in this civil rights museum. The struggles represented in this museum exemplify the truth of what really happened in Mississippi.

What really happened in Mississippi and throughout the South is that Democrats, who never got over losing the Civil War, sought to move blacks to a new plantation of oppression and suppression. As one wag put it, the reason Democrats hate Republicans so much is that the Republicans took away their slaves. All the Democrats have succeeded in doing is moving blacks to the urban plantations of inner cities like Baltimore, Detroit, and Chicago, all run by Democrats, where black children are preyed upon by black gangs, are trapped in failing schools, and have little or no job opportunities.

It is hard to fathom what Rep. Lewis means by "hurtful policies." Does he mean trying to rid the inner cities of gangs like MS-1; supporting school choice; fighting illegal immigration, which increases competition for entry level jobs; or just generally promoting economic growth, the rising tide President John F. Kennedy said lifts all our boats?

One would have thought the eight-year presidency of the first black president, Barack Obama, was an era of progress for blacks, but it decidedly was not:

[T]he seasonally adjusted labor-force-participation rate for black Americans across the board has slipped from 63.2 percent to 61.7 percent – down 2.4 percent.
The seasonally adjusted labor-force-participation rate for black teenagers also sagged from 29.6 percent to 28.8 percent – down 2.7 percent.
During Obama's tenure, the percentage of black Americans struggling below the poverty line has advanced, according to the most recent Census Bureau data, from 25.8 in 2009 to 26.2 in 2014 – up 1.6 percent.
Real median income among black households during those years, according to the Census Bureau, sank from $35,954 to $35,398 – down 1.5 percent.
The number of black food-stamp participants exploded across that time frame from 7,393,000 to 11,699,000, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports – up 58.2 percent.
Also, from Obama's oath of office through the fourth quarter of 2015, the percentage of black Americans who own homes foundered from 46.1 percent to 41.9 percent, according to the Census – down 9.1 percent.

One can search in vain for John Lewis and his liberal brethren saying anything about Barack Obama's "hurtful policies." Obama, like most liberal Democrats, blames the plight of blacks on racism when in fact the impediments to black progress are to be found in fatherless homes, out-of-wedlock births, gang crime, failing public schools, and cities run by Democratic socialists who blame racism but not their opportunity-killing policies.

John Lewis's historical amnesia omits, for example, the fact that it was not a Republican, but the honored and celebrated Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat of West Virginia and former "Grand Kleagle" with the Ku Klux Klan, who holds the distinction of being the only senator to have opposed the only two black nominees to the Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas, and led a 52-day filibuster against the Civil Rights Act.

Sen. Al Gore, father of the former vice president, voted against the act, as did Sen. J. William Fulbright, to whom Bill Clinton dedicated a memorial; former South Carolina senator Ernest Hollings; Sen. Richard Russell; and, of course, Sen. Strom Thurmond, who was a Democrat at that time.

John Lewis forgets that it was Democrats who unleashed the dogs and turned on the fire hoses on civil rights marchers. It was Democrats who stood in the schoolhouse door and are still standing there by opposing school choice and trapping minority children in failing schools. It was Democrats who blocked the bridge in Selma.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 would never have been possible without Republican leadership. Not only was that legislation a personal victory for Illinois Republican Sen. Everett Dirksen, then Senate minority leader, but Republicans in both the House and Senate supported the measure in far greater percentages than Democrats. Only six GOP senators voted against the act, compared with 21 Democrats. The party of Abraham Lincoln and Donald Trump beat back the fire hoses and dogs of the party of Robert Byrd and John Lewis.

As one pundit put it, the Democrats should know a lot about Jim Crow laws, since Democrats wrote them. Condoleezza Rice, President George W. Bush's national security adviser, explained at the 2000 GOP national convention why a black college professor would be a Republican:

The first Republican I knew was my father John Rice. And he is still the Republican I admire the most. My father joined our party because the Democrats in Jim Crow Alabama of 1952 would not register him to vote. The Republicans did. I want you to know that my father has never forgotten that day, and neither have I.

Neither should we. Lewis's colleague in the Senate, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) badgered Attorney General Jeff Sessions about the awards he received from various groups whose founders or leaders have made politically incorrect statements Blumenthal found offensive. Neither Blumenthal nor Lewis has any problem with Hillary Clinton, their 2016 presidential candidate, accepting the Margaret Sanger Award.

Back in March of 2009, Hillary Clinton accepted Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger Award, doled out by an organization originally called the American Birth Control League. In accepting the award, the Weekly Standard noted, Hillary had high praise for the noted eugenicist:

Now, I have to tell you that it was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision[.] ... And when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her.

As J. Kenneth Blackwell, writing in the Washington Times, notes, those who chant "black lives matter" obviously exclude the abortion rate of black babies that Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger and the KKK could only dream of:

138,539 black babies, nearly one baby in three, were killed in the womb in 2010. According to the CDC, between 2007 and 2010, innocent black babies were victimized in nearly 36 percent of the abortion deaths in the United States, though blacks represent only 12.8 percent of the population. Some say the abortion capital of America is New York City. According to LifeSiteNews, the city's Department of Health reported that in 2012, more black babies were aborted (31,328) than born (24,758). That's 55.9 percent of black babies killed before birth. Blacks represented 42.4 percent of all abortions.

This is a disturbing and tragic situation that continues unabated and is the fulfillment of the dream of Hillary Clinton's heroine, Margaret Sanger. As Blackwell also noted:

According to Sanger, "Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated." She opened her first abortion clinics in inner cities, and it's no accident that even today, "79 percent of Planned Parenthood's abortion facilities are located in black or minority neighborhoods."

Rep. Chris Smith reminded Hillary Clinton of the nature of Sanger's belief that eugenics, something the Nazis would put into horrifying practice, was Margaret Sanger's solution to all our problems, particularly racial ones. As LifeSite News reported at the time:

Addressing Mrs. Clinton, Smith said, "Are you kidding? In 'awe'' of Margaret Sanger, who said in 1921, 'Eugenics … is the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political, and social problems'. And who also said in 1922, 'The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it'?" ...
Highlighting the racist nature of eugenics, Smith further quoted Sanger, who said in 1939, "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social service backgrounds and with engaging personalities[.] ... We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."

When Jeff Sessions was being crucified for his alleged racist past, Sen Ted. Cruz pointed out that Democrats had better look in the mirror of history:

The day after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was rebuked while making a speech critical of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Sen. Ted Cruz blasted Democrats, saying their party is the one rooted in racism.
"The Democrats are the party of the Ku Klux Klan," Cruz (R-Tex.) said in an interview on Fox News on Wednesday. "You look at the most racist – you look at the Dixiecrats, they were Democrats who imposed segregation, imposed Jim Crow laws, who founded the Klan. The Klan was founded by a great many Democrats."

Cruz is right. John Lewis is wrong. Under President Trump, black Americans are finding work in greater numbers and are increasingly participating in an economy freed from oppressive taxation and regulation:

The unemployment rate, labor participation rate and overall employment for black Americans appears to be improving under President Donald Trump, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics employment data[.] ...
In the president's first 7 months in office, the unemployment rate for said group dropped from 8.0 in March 2017 to 7.4 in July.
The participation rate for black American workers is up one percent since March 2017, and the number of black Americans with a job is up roughly 700,000.
Black Americans were one of the hardest hit groups during the Great Recession and throughout much of former President Barack Obama's two-terms in office. The unemployment rate for this group was 13.7 when Obama took office in 2009, reaching a height of 16.8 in March 2010.

As libertarian commentator, investigative reporter, and host on TheBlaze TV Lawrence Jones notes:

Black unemployment is at a 20-year low. Under President Obama, it was double the national average. Black businesses are soaring right now. Food stamps for black folks are decreasing.

John Lewis doesn't remember the thrilling days of yesteryear, when Democrats stood in the schoolhouse door, wrote Jim Crow laws, and unleashed the dogs, or even the era of Barack Obama, when blacks were a source of votes, treated as victims, while trapped in urban plantations run by Democrats.

Trump asked blacks during the campaign, What do you have to lose? The answer so far is that they have lost nothing and have gained and will gain much as they are freed to participate in and pursue the American dream.

Our lives hang in the balance—that’s the message immigrant youth are delivering to Congress right now.

If Congress doesn’t pass the Dream Act in the next two weeks, about 14,000 more young immigrants will lose their protections from deportation; already, 122 young immigrants are losing those protections every day, and millions remain vulnerable. If Congress doesn’t pass the Dream Act, its members are choosing to deport my little brother Jonathan.

President Donald Trump created this crisis by killing the Deferred Action for Immigrant Arrivals (DACA) program back in September, and now, with thousands in danger, members of Congress must protect them by passing a clean Dream Act, a bill free of anti-immigrant provisions that harm parents of immigrant youth and the immigrant community at large.

There is no other way forward.

Through relentless organizing, immigrant youth won the DACA program during the Obama administration. Over the past five years, it helped nearly 800,000 immigrants go to school, work and achieve a greater sense of public recognition as Americans who should not have to live in constant fear of being detained and deported.

Now their futures are in jeopardy.

The Dream Act has strong bipartisan support, is favored by over 85 percent of Americans and has the backing of CEOs, faith leaders and educators. The legislation would create a pathway to citizenship for millions of immigrant youth who call this country home, and protect them from deportation—without putting their parents and communities in jeopardy.

More than 30 Republican members of Congress have publicly called for immigrant youth to be protected before the end of the year, and Democrats have been vocal about the need for action. The Dream Act can and must be included in the year-end budget negotiations, and it is time for members of Congress from both parties to insist on making that happen.

Congress has two weeks to protect immigrant youth, and if they do not, the pain and horror of our experience will be on their hands.

Just weeks ago, a 10-year-old named Rosa Maria Hernández was followed to the hospital by deportation agents, who dragged her to a detention camp after surgery. She would be protected under the Dream Act but instead she and millions like her are vulnerable. The stakes could not be higher.

Most Americans support the Dream Act because it speaks to something fundamental: We all have dreams for ourselves and our families, and we should be able to pursue them free of fear or harm. This is our home after all, and we are here to stay.

That’s why, in so many towns, cities and states, people of conscience from diverse backgrounds have been taking to the streets to demand a clean Dream Act with no additional border enforcement measures, so that immigrant families can stay together and not endure the pain of unjust separation.

Delay on the Dream Act means deportations, and we know that when leaders like Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or House Speaker Paul Ryan tell us to wait until next year, they are telling us that they would rather see immigrant youth deported than stand up for what is right.

Immigrant youth are demanding action now to accelerate justice; there is no time to spare. Every minute matters, and many of us are truly fighting for our lives.

Republican leaders must end their blockade of the Dream Act and get behind this common-sense solution. And Democratic leaders must use their leverage in budget negotiations to force the issue. This is not a moment for casual support; this is a moment for leadership from every member of Congress.

If Congress does not pass a clean Dream Act this month, there will be massive political consequences for the politicians and parties who kill it. The far-reaching movement for the protection of immigrant youth and communities has enormous political power, infrastructure and a national organizing network that can influence elections at all levels.

Increasingly, we are seen and heard as the new American majority fighting for a better country, and for the bedrock values of freedom, dignity and the pursuit of happiness. We are here to stay. We’ve turned that idea into a national rallying cry in the era of Trump.

And, now, we’re asking the leaders of Congress, point blank: Are you going to take action to protect immigrant youth or will you take action to deport them?

If legislators pass the Dream Act, they will join a tradition of leaders who have fought to protect and help fulfill the dreams of immigrants, women, people of color, LGBTQ Americans and others.

If legislators choose to deport immigrant youth, they will become part of a tradition of leaders who have opposed protections and rights for immigrants, women, people of color, LGBTQ Americans and others.

Either way, we will soon learn where Congress stands.

The media is going after politicians today in the same way that we did in the “not so glamorous” days of Bill Clinton. We’ve all heard in great “nationally embarrassing” detail what Bill Clinton enjoyed doing with his cigars during business hours in the Oval Office… and it wasn’t smoking them! Was he impeached? Nope. Was he punished in any way? Uh no. So for our current day headlines to say “It’s time to Impeach Trump – Stand with Tom Steyer” know this, if Bill Clinton can stick a cigar into an interns privates in the oval office and not get impeached, I can assure you there is nothing that Donald Trump has done within his first year of serving our country as President that will get him impeached. History has already proven how much our politicians can get away with, and still hang on to their glorious titles, but even still, President Trump has not been out of line with his actions. No matter, because extreme headlines and petitions are still streaming thru the media as if there is some valid reason to impeach at all! The notion to impeach a man who is standing up to someone as violent and evil as Kim Jong-un is insane. The majority voted for a president with a backbone; the majority elected a president who isn’t afraid of someone as horrible as the leader of North Korea, and the majority elected President Trump to stand up for our country and to make it a better place than what it has been. So, if Bill Clinton can do all the things that he did in the oval office and not be impeached, don’t believe for a moment that signing some petition (because you don’t like having a president with a pair leading our country) will remove him. Those signing a petition paid for by Tom Steyer are delusional sore losers fighting like Extreme Liberals without a Cause.

It’s time we put an end to all this political hype and extremism. It’s damaging and negative effects do not resolve anything. It does just the opposite. Studies have proven that negativity and fear have far more dramatic effects on our psyche than any other type of news. While it’s a known fact that the masses would prefer to only hear facts, and would prefer to be happy and live without fear, we as a society have been knocked around by extreme politics and name calling.

Like a freight train about to derail, extreme politics have been streaming on both ends of the political spectrum, causing chaos to erupt in our media. It isn’t just an opinion of a liberal to say that Republicans generally have a history of being racist, among other not so desirable titles, such as communistic, Nazi-like, and heartless for choosing big business and money over environmental issues, and humanity abroad. They’ve also been called “War Happy”. In turn, Democrats have a history of being violent rioters, and anti-cop extremist, all abortion – all the time, obsessed over illegal immigration, and having complete disregard for the threat of terrorism.

While all of these labels are being thrown out there to tear down opposing parties, it’s the way in which it’s being presented that is incredibly damaging, and is absolutely hindering any possibility of uniting our country politically. It’s also not fair to label all Republicans or all Democrats with these “extreme” titles, because honestly the mass majority of our society do not possess these demeaning qualities at all. Just the radical Democrats and Republicans who make headline news, or write radical news stories. But these negative affects don’t just affect the extremists, they also have a very powerful effect on everyday Americans. It’s impossible to avoid the “tabloid like” headlines in social media, and even on our evening television, but we have to keep in mind that most Republicans and Democrats really aren’t filled with so much hatred towards each other, and really aren’t filled with these ideas that is being projected as fact in the news. The truth is these headlines are no more normal than watching a Jerry Springer episode and thinking that everyone in today’s society outside of that studio behave that recklessly and trashy. While we aren’t really a Jerry Springer society yet, the possibility of us actually becoming that is very real if we continue to allow social media to behave the way they do, and don’t start holding our nightly news to a higher standard of reporting. How do we accomplish this? There are many ways. We can write the networks and demand to remove “Ratings focused headlines” from the news. We want the facts, not the spin! We can also block fake news sites from our news feed. By doing this the administrators of these sites will be notified that we are blocking them, and giving them a reason as to why. We are their audience. If we don’t stand up and speak out that it’s time to raise the bar, nobody else will. I don’t want this low media standard for our children. They deserve better too.

If True…. Two little words with a significant meaning. In the case of Judge Roy Moore it could mean the difference of being elected as a Senator from Alabama, or having his years of service swept away from something that may have happened 30 years ago. Is this a smear campaign with little proof of what is purported to have happened. In todays divisive political atmosphere innocent until proven guilty depends on your political affiliation.

The people of Alabama and Governor Kay Ivey have known Judge Roy Moore for his entire lifetime. They know that fabrications of the Washington elite, the Progressive/socialist Democrats, and the GOP establishment are nothing more than a ploy to attempt to derail his victory in the campaign. They realize that these allegations from so long ago are impossible to prove or disprove and believe the people of Alabama are gullible enough to just accept was it being told to them by leftists.

Even with the GOP establishment in the person of Mitch McConnell spending over $30 million on trying to force Luther Strange, another establishment Republican yes man that would also bow to the Democratic Progressive/socialists, the people of Alabama said no and the primary was won by Judge Roy Moore by a good margin. The establishment Republicans, the media, the progressive/socialists all are losing the cushy jobs where they pat each other on the back for showing up and getting nothing done. They refuse to even make an attempt to move the country forward in a way that is beneficial to the American people. Alabama is only the first battleground to take our country back.

Judge Roy Moore is a threat, a man with a strong Christian foundation who has a strong Christian opinion on homosexuality, same sex marriage and a understanding of the Founders’ vision for the country and will not back down.

This may be taking place in Alabama, but the entire country is watching what is happening, and after the past eight years they know the Progressive/socialists will stoop to anything to retain their stranglehold on the American people and to control the power in Washington, D.C.

I do not doubt for a moment that all these allegations about a Christian God-fearing man, and including all the sexual predators that have been outed in the past two weeks are just the lead up to another attempt to paint our President as a sexual predator as well. This is a common thread in all this which I shall discuss shortly. The Never Trumprs and all the denizens of the Deep State and progressive/socialists will build a new template against President Trump in the future based on this template. Perhaps it will change the names and places, but it will once again be blazed across the skies by the media that also declared a man like George Soros a “superpower of democracy”. It may be that all this and the lies and innuendo being promulgated is nothing more than an attempt to hold on to the post Christian new norld order that they have as an agenda.

The allegations were first published in the Washington Post, a bastion of impartiality according to the leftist fringe. This follows a familiar pattern over the last few years. During the campaign, this leftist cabal released the Billy Bush tape from eleven years earlier attempting to destroy the Trump narrative. When that didn’t work, out came the crying women calling President Trump a sexual predator. When that was proven false, even though leftists still cling to calling President Trump a pervert, then came the Steel Dossier to try and convince the American people that Trump was a Soviet puppet. None of these worked no matter how much the leftists on radio and television pushed the narrative.

Now, with Judge Moore, some are sensitive to the fact that 40 years ago and just back home, Roy Moore dated teenage girls. And although that would not be my cup of tea, in Alabama the legal age is 16. And by all accounts of all the girls with the exception of one, Roy Moore was a gentlemen and nothing untoward happened. The other girls were put in the story to try and cloud the issue and show a pattern of sexual predation on young women that wasn’t there.

During the time that these alleged sexual escapades were happening, there are no police reports, no corroboration by authorities and not one piece of evidence that Judge Roy Moore did anything untoward. Bringing it up a month before the election is nothing more than a smear campaign to get Roy Moore off the ballot or to make him so unpalatable to Alabama voters that he will fail. This has been done with scant evidence, a yearbook that I will discuss further shortly. I am not a lawyer but I don’t connect signing a yearbook with sexual assault.

So what we are left with is a divisive country being pushed further apart by a premeditated character attack on a man who has been a dutiful husband, Christian, and who has worked for the people in his state in many capacities. It comes down to an attack by the Progressive/socialists, the media and the GOP establishment doing the best they can to defame a man of character at a critical time in the election process for power.

There is a woman who talked to The Conservative Tribune who goes by the name of “Beth” worked with Judge Moore as a teenager. She remarked:

“Yes, I absolutely believe the Judge is innocent. I’ve known him and his family for years. I was a teenager when I started working on his campaign. And he always honored and respected me and all the others. I never once felt uncomfortable.”

Let’s look how this has come forward and compare this ad hominem attack on others in the past. They have already tried the race card of the Judge in the primaries. Even the GOPe in the form of Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan piled on the accusations that Roy Moore was unfit to be a Senator without a single discussion of policies and regulations that Roy Moore held. The race baiting did not work, so they then moved to the gender card. Saying Roy Moore had a private “war against women” for his anti-abortion stance. And now, the sexual predator attack, unverified and with no substantial evidence.

Let’s look at some of the evidence that has been foisted on the American people by the leftists. Sen. Lindsay Graham, a man who claims to be a Republican who has been willing to throw Roy Moore under the bus without any evidence has claimed in his rush to judgment that Roy Moore must be broken. Premature in his opinion which no self respecting Republican listens to anyway has used the fiction that Roy Moore was banned from a mall in Gadsden Alabama because he was upsetting the young girls there. Barnes Boyle, the mall manager for a substantial portion of the time in question says Moore was never banned. Graham even broke the news on Fox News, with no evidence that it was a fact .

The major accusation made by Beverly Nelson and progressive/sycophant Gloria Allred is starting to fall apart after further interview. Even her own stepson Darrel Nelson has cast doubts about her story. In his own qords

“Claimed his stepmother’s accusations are one hundred percent a lie”

I know for a fact that there is a lot that that woman (Beverly Nelson) does not tell the truth on. Do I think Beverly Nelson is trustworthy? No, I really don’t. Could I see her making it up, The odds are in that favor.”

There are others who have come forward to deny these accusations. Of course, the media won’t cover it. Rhonda Ledbetter, a retired school teacher who worked at the restaurant in question where Judge Moore allegedly assaulted Beverly Nelson. There are questions that need to be answered.

Beverly Nelson claimed to work at the Olde Hickory House at the time of the alleged assault. She was 15, and the Olde Hickory House required anyone who worked for them to be 16. How can that be?

The dumpster that Roy Moore parked behind is on the side of the building and not the back as Beverly Nelson asserts.

Beverly Nelson asserts that Roy Moore picked her up at eleven when the Olde Hickory House closed, although the Restaurant NEVER closed before midnight.

She said she was locked in the car and couldn’t get out. The only way that would be possible would be if the car was equipped with childproof locks which hadn’t been invented yet.

Three witnesses Ms. Ledbetter mentioned above, a former deputy sheriff deputy Johnny Belyeu Sr, who was a “regular” at the restaurant and waitress Renee Schivera who worked during the time period in question have stated that they never saw Judge Roy Moore in the restaurant. Ms. Ledbetter also stated that Beverly Nelson NEVER worked at the restaurant. Kind of blows the lie apart don’t you think?

Coupled with the fact that the Olde Hickory House has a lighted wraparound porch, and is just off a busy four lane highway.

Then there is the story of the yearbook. Both Beverly Nelson and Gloria Allred claim Moore signed the yearbook, but refuse to llet the yearbook be forensically verified. CNN, as a supporter of this lies showed a picture of the yearbook that had been photoshopped to show the entire yearbook page in black and white, although when shown live, it did appear that there were two different colors of ink.

Remember that this is the same Gloria Allred who used this same template against Herman Cain in the primaries. After Cain dropped out of the race, all those women disappeared. She tried the same template on Trump and it didn’t work that time, although I would not be surprised if it comes back soon to once again denigrate our President and declare he is illegitimate. They claim that Clinton was a pig, but nothing can be done now, then smear a good Christian man for what they accuse him of forty years ago.

In the Daily News today an Ex-Alabama police officer by the name of Faye Gray ( or Faye Gary according to the video) said she was told to keep an eye on Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore because he was known to harass teenage cheerleaders at local games in the 1980’s. A Detective for the Juvenile division at the time said the department took no action because they received no complaints.

This is nothing more than an attack on an honest, honorable man with a core of Christian man. The rumors and innuendo will continue without any evidence until the election. Gloria Allred will pontificate about a Senate Investigation before the yearbook is looked at by experts, but that will continue to make the lies even more evident. There will be more women “found” by the Washington Post and the other sycophants of the leftists including John McCain, Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham who don’t care about any evidence for these accusations . Today it was made known that "Notes" were added to the yearbook. The case is a sham.

Starving the Beast

{townhall.com} ~ One way to kill a predatory animal is to deny it sustenance. The tax-cut bill passed by the Senate, if it clears a conference with the House and President Trump signs it, may be the first step toward starving the big government beast.

Reporting on the Senate vote early Saturday morning reflected the biases of various media outlets. Predictably, The New York Times and Washington Post characterized the cuts as favoring the "rich," while doing nothing for the poor. Bulletin: Relatively few low-income people pay federal income taxes. They join the 46 percent of Americans who pay no taxes to Washington.

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization focused on eliminating waste and inefficiency in the federal government, expressed a view opposite that of the major media. CAGW president Thomas Schatz said: "This taxpayer-first bill lowers tax rates on American families; simplifies the tax code; reduces the tax burden on small businesses; and makes American companies more competitive globally."

Two frustrating things about this: One is that too many people expect more from government than they expect from themselves. The Founders never intended government to be a nanny. That it has become one, egged-on by many politicians who preserve their careers by making people dependent on Washington, is why liberty shrinks and debt deepens.

The second and perhaps biggest frustration is that solutions to growing debt exist, but are ignored by many of these same politicians. They fear attacks by liberals who claim conservatives don't care about children, the sick and elderly. One need only consider now-Speaker Paul Ryan's proposal to reform Medicare and Social Security a few years ago. Rather than debate the merits of Ryan's proposal, a liberal group hired an actor who was shown pushing an elderly woman in a wheelchair over a cliff.

Google "cut federal spending" and you will see dozens of suggestions. Mostly liberal and some Republican politicians don't want to embrace them because cutting spending would reduce their power over us.

Two of these proposals deserve serious attention. One comes from Downsizing the Federal Government, a website designed to highlight where federal spending goes and how to reform each government department, which proposes shrinking "every federal department by cutting the most harmful programs. This study proposes specific cuts that would reduce federal spending by almost one-quarter and balance the budget in less than a decade."

The philosophy behind their proposal which is too long to reprint, so look it up is this: "The federal government has expanded into many areas that should be left to state and local governments, businesses, charities, and individuals. That expansion is sucking the life out of the private economy and creating a top-down bureaucratic society that is alien to American traditions. So cutting federal spending would enhance civil liberties by dispersing power from Washington."

A similar proposal comes from The Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C.,-based conservative think tank. Nothing has changed, except more debt, since senior fellow Brian Riedl wrote it seven years ago. It includes empowering state and local governments by transferring programs and power out of Washington to governments closer to the people, consolidating duplicative programs, of which there are many, privatizing the many programs that could be done better by the private sector, elimination of outdated and unnecessary programs and the familiar elimination of waste, fraud, and abuse.

I would add reform Social Security and Medicare, the main drivers of increased spending, which President Trump has hinted Republicans may try next year.

Ignoring solutions and letting the debt increase is irresponsible. With this Congress, as with many before it, sexual harassment isn't the only example of irresponsibility.

Al Franken announced his resignation in a Senate floor speech. Franken both hinted at accepting blame and yet absolved himself of any guilt. He was railroaded, you see, a victim of the current cultural and political climate. Franken said, “I know in my heart that nothing I have done as a senator — nothing — has brought dishonor on this institution.” He intended the key words to be “as a senator,” but really, nothing dishonorable? Please. There was no mention of the fact that it was his own party calling for his head.

Franken also opined about the need to “believe women” while insisting that the accusations made against him by several women were “not true,” or that he remembered the encounters “very differently.” Ironically, he sought to paint himself as a champion of women, stating, “I am proud that, during my time in the Senate, I have used my power to be a champion for women — and that I have earned a reputation as someone who respects the women I work alongside every day. I know there’s been a very different picture of me painted over the last few weeks. But I know who I really am.”
So if this was true, then why resign? Franken finally revealed the reason, saying, “I, of all people, am aware that there is some irony in the fact that I am leaving while a man who bragged on tape of his history of sexual assault sits in the Oval Office.” Yep, as we wrote yesterday, this is all a calculated strategy by the Democrats to claim the political high ground so as to attack Donald Trump, Roy Moore and all Republicans as immoral hypocrites.
Finally, the biggest and most ironic detail to note. Franken has delayed his resignation by several weeks. Why? We’re betting that if Moore wins in Alabama next week, Franken will suddenly have a change of heart. His message will then be something along the lines of needing to stay in order to fight against those corrupt misogynist Republicans and their “war on women.”

by Brian Mark Weber: President Donald Trump announced this week that the United States will move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something Democrats and Republicans alike have supported for decades. Now that Trump is the one actually keeping the promise, however, leftists are apoplectic.

So why all the outrage and condemnation of the president? Why the stoking of fear that Trump’s decision is somehow encouraging violence?
The difference is that this time we have a president who actually plans to back up his words.
The reaction from the media on both sides of the Atlantic is expected. BBC reported that Trump’s decision risks “a heated reaction from US allies in the Muslim world and, potentially, protests and unrest.” Furthermore, the decision makes it “difficult for the US to be seen as a neutral mediator in the Middle East peace process.”
What peace process? And haven’t we been seeing heated reactions in the Muslim world for centuries? Besides, if the previous approach of appeasing Islamists was such a good idea, why were they so upset before Trump made this move?
One of MSNBC’s bigoted talking heads, Chris Matthews, declared that Trump’s Jerusalem decision is related to the Senate election in Alabama next week. How? “Because it’s the Christian Evangelicals down there with their crazy ideas about Israel which is, I don’t know, mythical. They don’t understand the situation over there and how tricky it is ethnically and tribally. They don’t care because it’s a religious belief. Trump’s playing into that this week.”
That’s remarkable, even coming from Matthews. These days, Democrats are so obsessed with their inability to destroy Trump that they view everything through this prism. No, Chris, we don’t need to move the capital of Israel to Jerusalem in order to get Roy Moore elected. In fact, the latest polls show he’s doing pretty well on his own. And it’s clear that Matthews hasn’t learned one of the most important lessons from Trump’s victory over liar-Hillary Clinton: Attacking Christian evangelicals is not an effective way to win elections.
Matthews didn’t have a problem when other presidents supported moving the embassy to Jerusalem or when Democrats voted for the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act. That’s right, an act of Congress more than 20 years ago that mandated moving the embassy to Jerusalem had the support of 93 senators and 374 House members, but then-President liar-Bill Clinton didn’t follow through. Nor did George W. Bush or Barack liar-nObama, both of whom claimed to support what President Trump is doing now.
All of the condemnation coming from Democrats this week suggests that they’ve long been opposed to moving the embassy to Jerusalem. But this is far from the truth. We only have to go back to June 1 of this year to discover a 90-0 Senate vote marking the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem’s reunification and calling on President Trump to abide by the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.
So what’s changed in five months to prompt all this flip-flopping? Only one thing: Donald Trump’s working to keep a promise.
What hurts the peace process is doing what we’ve always done: failing to acknowledge Israel’s chosen capital and allowing a whole industry of so-called Middle East peace experts, politicians and the Palestinians to determine Israel’s future. None of these groups actually has any interest in resolving the issue. No wonder Middle East peace has been so elusive for so long.
The media want you to believe that Trump’s decision will set the world on fire. Turkey claims that Trump “pulled the pin on the bomb,” Hamas is calling for a Palestinian uprising, and a host of European countries including Britain, France and Germany expressed alarm over the move. Isn’t it interesting that some of same people blaming Trump for sparking violence are the ones calling for an uprising?
Everyone seems to think that Middle East peace is lost forever. On the contrary, this move could actually improve its chances.
David Harsanyi writes, “Many of the same people who lecture us to stand up to the authoritarianism in Russia or China argue that we should cave to threats of groups that subsidize jihadists and undermine American interests. Why do Booker, Fein-stein, or the experts at the Brookings Institution believe that Hamas or Qatar should dictate where the United States puts its embassy? Yes, the move will generate widespread hand-wringing in the world, and there is a good possibility that there will be a new round of self-destructive violence among Palestinians. But if Arabs are willing to embrace extremism and violence because the United States no longer supports a delusion, perhaps the problem isn’t Israel?”
The question political pundits from both sides are asking is: How is this new approach going to affect the peace process? The real question ought to be, Why did we continue to embrace such a failed approach all these years? And why did liar-Clinton, Bush and liar-nObama each promise to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, yet fail to do so?
As for Trump’s critics in Europe, their outrage has more to do with an American president forcing them to confront something that they’ve avoided for far too long. Most European pols are crippled by fear, indecision and ignorance over how to address the exploding Muslim populations in their own countries, let alone how to deal with peace in the Middle East.
But European leaders are not alone in their criticism. Saudi Arabia is also taking issue. Yes, the same country that sponsors terrorism and has stoked division in the Middle East for decades doesn’t think it’s a good idea to move the U.S. embassy.
Let’s face it: The hatred and violence have been there for years. To wit, Jim Geraghty of National Review writes, “We just witnessed roughly a half million people get killed in the Syrian Civil War. Maybe the region generates its own conflicts, disputes, and unrest on its own, regardless of where our embassy is. Nobody makes any faction in the Middle East pick up weapons and start trying to kill each other. Maybe it’s time all the players in the region stopped using the United States as the scapegoat for their own decisions.”
President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy may not solve any of the problems in the Middle East. But the claim that this new approach will make the situation worse is unfounded. The current explosion of rage and anger was there long before Trump was elected. And this is the core of the problem: Peace will be illusory until Israel’s enemies accept its right to exist.

by Nate Jackson: If you thought it was bad that an FBI agent involved in the liar-Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Michael Flynn investigations was sending pro-liar-Hillary texts to his mistress, an FBI lawyer, while editing legally vital language regarding liar-Clinton’s email scandal, the latest revelation may be even worse.

Fox News’ James Rosen reports that the FBI’s Bruce Ohr “was demoted this week amid an ongoing investigation into his contacts with the opposition research firm responsible for the anti-Trump ‘dossier.’” That would be the fake liar-Clinton-funded dossier that got the ball rolling with the whole Trump/Russia collusion nonsense, which in turn led to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. The same dossier the FBI considered underwriting.
Rosen adds, “Ohr met during the 2016 campaign with Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the ‘dossier.’ … Additionally, House investigators have determined that Ohr met shortly after the election with Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS — the opposition research firm that hired Steele to compile the dossier with funds supplied by the liar-Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.”
Who is Ohr? Byron York notes, “The department’s Bruce Ohr, a career official, served as associate deputy attorney general at the time of the campaign. That placed him just below the deputy attorney general, Sally Yates, who ran the day-to-day operations of the department. In 2016, Ohr’s office was just steps away from Yates, who was later fired for defying President Trump’s initial travel ban executive order and still later became a prominent anti-Trump voice upon leaving the Justice Department.”
So, along with Peter Strzok, Ohr becomes the second FBI official demoted or reassigned for actions during the investigation of Trump. Ohr’s case could be even more significant, however, because these were not interviews that were part of the investigation; they seem to be another kind of meeting. And he was even higher up in the liar-nObama “Justice” Department than Strzok. And, like Strzok’s actions, it was information not disclosed by the FBI to House investigators, despite subpoenas covering such contacts. The House Intelligence Committee now plans to compel Ohr’s testimony.

Little Rocket Man's Risky Game

{townhall.com} ~ In the morning darkness of Wednesday, Kim Jong Un launched an ICBM that rose almost 2,800 miles into the sky before falling into the Sea of Japan.

North Korea now has the proven ability to hit Washington, D.C.

Unproven still is whether Kim can put a miniaturized nuclear warhead atop that missile, which could be fired with precision, and survive the severe vibrations of re-entry. More tests and more time are needed for that.

Thus, U.S. markets brushed off the news of Kim's Hwasong-15 missile and roared to record heights on Wednesday and Thursday.

President Donald Trump took it less well. "Little Rocket Man" is one "sick puppy," he told an audience in Missouri.

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley told the Security Council that "if war comes ... the North Korean regime will be utterly destroyed." She than warned Xi Jinping that "if China does not halt the oil shipments" to North Korea, "we can take the oil situation into our own hands."

Is Haley talking about bombing pipelines in North Korea -- or China?

The rage of the president and bluster of Haley reflect a painful reality: As inhumane and ruthless as the 33-year-old dictator of North Korea is, he is playing the highest stakes poker game on the planet, against the world's superpower, and playing it remarkably well.

Reason: Kim may understand us better than we do him, which is why he seems less hesitant to invite the risks of a war he cannot win.

While a Korean War II might well end with annihilation of the North's army and Kim's regime, it would almost surely result in untold thousands of dead South Koreans and Americans.

And Kim knows that the more American lives he can put at risk, with nuclear-tipped missiles, the less likely the Americans are to want to fight him.

His calculation has thus far proven correct.

As long as he does not push the envelope too far, and force Trump to choose war rather than living with a North Korea that could rain nuclear rockets on the U.S., Kim may win the confrontation.

Why? Because the concessions Kim is demanding are not beyond the utterly unacceptable.

What does Kim want?

Initially, he wants a halt to U.S.-South Korean military exercises, which he sees as a potential prelude to a surprise attack. He wants an end to sanctions, U.S. recognition of his regime, and acceptance of his status as a nuclear weapons state. Down the road, he wants a U.S. withdrawal of all forces from South Korea and international aid.

Earlier administrations -- liar-Clinton, Bush II, liar-nObama -- have seen many of these demands as negotiable. And accepting some or even all of them would entail no grave peril to U.S. national security or vital interests.

They would entail, however, a serious loss of face.

Acceptance of such demands by the United States would be a triumph for Kim, validating his risky nuclear strategy, and a diplomatic defeat for the United States.

Little Rocket Man would have bested The Donald.

Moreover, the credibility of the U.S. deterrent would be called into question. South Korea and Japan could be expected to consider their own deterrents, out of fear the U.S. would never truly put its homeland at risk, but would cut a deal at their expense.

We would hear again the cries of "Munich" and the shade of Neville Chamberlain would be called forth for ritual denunciation.

Yet it is a time for truth: Our demand for "denuclearization of the Korean peninsula," is not going to be met, absent a U.S. war and occupation of North Korea.

Kim saw how Bush II, when it served U.S. interests, pulled out of our 30-year-old ABM treaty with Moscow. He saw how, after he gave up all his WMD to reach an accommodation with the West, Moammar Gadhafi was attacked by NATO and ended up being lynched.

He can see how much Americans honor nuclear treaties they sign by observing universal GOP howls to kill the Iranian nuclear deal and bring about "regime change" in Tehran, despite Iran letting U.N. inspectors roam the country to show they have no nuclear weapons program.

For America's post-Cold War enemies, the lesson is clear:

Give up your WMD, and you wind up like Gadhafi and Saddam Hussein. Build nuclear weapons that can threaten Americans, and you get respect.

Kim Jong Un would be a fool to give up his missiles and nukes, and while the man is many things, a fool is not one of them.

We are nearing a point where the choice is between a war with North Korea in which thousands would die, or confirming that the U.S. is not willing to put its homeland at risk to keep Kim from keeping what he already has -- nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver them.

More Democrats Vote for Trump Than Against Him in Impeachment Vote

The impeachment process against Donald J. Trump began in the early morning hours of Nov. 9, when it became clear that the Republican standard bearer had carried the state of Pennsylvania and therefore the Electoral College.

The first avenue for impeachment was collusion with the Russians. Maxine Waters suggested that coming up with the nickname “Crooked Hillary” was enough to get him impeached. However, none of them had the brilliant strategy that Rep. Al Green of Texas cooked up: why actually require a crime for impeachment?

On Wednesday, Green introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump in the House of Representatives. Trump stood accused of… nothing. There was no crime mentioned in the articles of impeachment. In fact, that wasn’t just a bug in the plan, it was a feature.

Suffice it to say, it didn’t go so well. Even among Democrats.

According to The Daily Caller, the articles of impeachment were tabled — a polite, Robert’s Rules of Order way of saying “we have no intention of spending any of our time on this crap” — by a vote of 364-58.

Putting that in perspective, there are 193 Democrats at present serving in the House of Representatives.

That means that — desperate to get Donald J. Trump out of office though they may be — 135 Democrats voted against impeachment vs. 58 that voted for it. The GOP, perhaps unsurprisingly, didn’t break ranks on this one. Even Justin Amash.

In other words, more Democrats voted for Trump to stay in office than to leave.

Part of the problem was that there wasn’t actually any reason why Trump should have been impeached. That’s not me talking here, that’s Rep. Al Green.

“A common misconception associated with impeachment proceedings is that an impeachable offense must be explicitly illegal. This is not the case,” Green wrote in a memo.

“The impeachment process is political in nature, not criminal. As laid out in Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution, grounds for impeachment include ‘high Crimes and Misdemeanors.’ Upon first glance, this might seem to imply both felony offenses and less severe misdemeanor offenses. However, this is not the case.

“The framers of the U.S. Constitution, drawing on impeachment grounds in the English parliament established in 1386, adopted ‘high Crimes and Misdemeanors‘ as a term of art meant to describe a variety of offenses sharing an underlying abuse which demonstrated an official’s lack of fitness for office. Today, most constitutional law experts recognize that an impeachable offense does not need to be a crime.”

In other words, the reason why we can impeach someone without them committing a crime is because back in 1386, the pasty royalists we expended plenty of blood and bullets to get them the heck off of our continent came up with “high Crimes and Misdemeanors,” not as a description of crime but “as a term of art meant to describe a variety of offenses sharing an underlying abuse which demonstrated an official’s lack of fitness for office.” This comes dangerously close to interpreting Article 2 as a pretext for a coup.

However, I’ve read through the entirety of Green’s articles so that you don’t have to (although if you dislike yourself enough, they’re only five pages long and a masterpiece of self-delusion). And thankfully, we’re not in any danger of seeing our democracy dismantled.

The “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” don’t include instances of archaic random capitalization, but do include the fact that he “issued a public statement characterizing anti-Semites, bigots, racists, white nationalists, and Ku Klux Klansmen who rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia as ‘very fine people,’” “made a public statement referring to professional football players as ‘sons of b*****,’ therefore denigrating them and their mothers (emphasis mine) for exercising their constitutionally protected right to protest,” “made a public statement that after being devastated by a Category 4 and Category 5 hurricane in one week, Puerto Ricans had ‘…thrown our budget a little out of whack’” and — the pièce de résistance — “issued a public statement referring to Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL-24), a female, African-American Member of Congress as ‘wacky’ and called her a liar.”

I was all for keeping him in office, but then I found out he called Frederica Wilson “wacky.” That, my friends, is where we all as Americans must draw the line. And those poor NFL players’ mothers. Have you at long last no decency, President Trump?

By the way, everything I just mentioned is B.S. Trump didn’t refer to the “anti-Semites, bigots, racists, white nationalists, and Ku Klux Klansmen” in Charlottesville as “very fine people,” he was referring to the small number of protesters who showed up thinking it was about the preservation of the Lee statue and instead got lost in a mob of race hatred led by the despicable Daily Stormer types. The president was not denigrating the players or (I can’t believe I’m actually typing this out) their mothers, he was expressing his frustration with those who chose to denigrate the anthem as a form of protest. His comment about Puerto Rico was an obvious joke, and anybody who takes it as anything else is doing so deliberately in order to score political capital.

Actually, I was incorrect; one of Green’s charges is accurate. Frederica Wilson is “wacky” and a liar. The more politicians that acknowledge this, the better.

None of these things are high crimes. None of these things are misdemeanors. And most Democrats are well aware of that. The 58 that aren’t… well, maybe we should just say you won’t be surprised.

Rep. Ted Lieu, who walked out during a moment of silence for the Texas massacre victims and began livestreaming, voted to impeach. So did Maxine Waters, whose history needs no explication in these pages. Frederica Wilson also definitively proved her wackiness by joining the impeachment crowd.

In the meanwhile, it seems that even the Democrats have some semblance of propriety. Or, they got the message from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, who strongly opposed the articles and told their Democratic colleagues to stop pushing them or face consequences. One or the other.

by Nate Jackson: In good news that was buried by other stuff Wednesday, the House passed the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, 231-198. Perhaps surprisingly, six Democrats voted for the bill, while 14 Republicans voted no. What isn’t surprising is the Leftmedia’s dezinformatsia about it. “House passes bill to let gun owners to carry concealed weapons across state lines,” headlined The Washington Post — as if all state lines were previously a barrier. What the bill actually does is ensure that all state concealed carry permits are valid in all states, contrary to the current regime under which states may either offer reciprocity or deny the right to bear arms to citizens of other states. As for citizens of the 12 states that require no permit, they may also carry in any other state. And as of 2014, all 50 states (some grudgingly after court defeats) recognize the right to carry concealed firearms.

In her typically apocalyptic fashion, Nancy Pulosi tweeted, “Inviting violent criminals to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Inviting domestic abusers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Inviting convicted stalkers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Yet the @HouseGOP just voted to do exactly that #StopCCR.” Dead wrong. Violent criminals, domestic abusers and convicted stalkers cannot legally obtain carry permits in any state, which the House bill did not change. But when have facts ever gotten in the way for Pulosi and Co.?
The NRA backed the bill, effectively responding to Pulosi in a statement, “Despite scare tactics by the bill’s opponents, concealed-carry licensees as a group have proven to be more law-abiding than the general population and even the police.” Analysis: True.
Meanwhile, House Republicans added the Fix NICS Act to the bill — legislation that would create “maximum coordination” between states and the federal government on the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). It would penalize government agencies for failing to report pertinent information. Clearly, this is a response to the church shooting in Texas; the U.S. Air Force did not report the murderer’s conviction record to NICS. Fix NICS does not expand background checks in terms of who must undergo one or what information must be reported from which agency, though it would likely lead to more complete information in the NICS. Adding the two bills together may have helped in the House, but senators of both parties warn it’s a no-go in the Senate.
Strategically, Democrats oppose gun rights in any form — using hyperbole to do so — because they know the last line of defense against a tyrannical central government is the Second Amendment. ~The Patriot Post

Elizabeth Warren may have some explaining to do to American taxpayers. It seems that those who speak out the loudest against President Trump are those with the most to hide, and “Pocahontas” may be no exception to that rule.

Warren, the Democratic Senator from Massachusetts, was the “brainchild” behind the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an organization formed during the Obama administration after the collapse of the real estate and financial markets. The vague website of the CFPB claims that the organization helps consumers act against companies who operate illegally, and claims to “listen to consumers and make their voices heard”. According to Wikipedia, CFPB jurisdiction includes banks, credit unions, securities firms, payday lenders, mortgage-servicing operations, foreclosure relief services, debt collectors and other financial companies operating in the United States.

The CFPB was established as an independent agency and was authorized by the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Many Republicans fought the agency, claiming it was given too much power over the financial industry. House Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) has been the CFPB’s most relentless critic. “The CFPB undoubtedly remains the single most powerful and least accountable federal agency in all of Washington.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) even tried introducing a measure to abolish the CFPB outright. He called it “a runaway agency” that “does little to protect consumers.” Abolishing the CFPB, Cruz said, would give Congress “the opportunity to free consumers and small businesses from the CFPB’s regulatory blockades and financial activism, which stunt economic growth.”

In 2016, a Washington D.C. circuit court judge agreed with Republicans’ concerns over the agency, ruling that it held too much power with very little oversight. The judge found the agency unconstitutional and ruled, “The Director enjoys significantly more unilateral power than any single member of any other independent agency. By “unilateral power,” we mean power that is not checked by the President or by other colleagues. Indeed, other than the President, the Director of the CFPB is the single most powerful official in the entire United States Government, at least when measured in terms of unilateral power. The court went on to proclaim that the director of the CFPB is given more power and autonomy than the speaker of the house, senate majority leader, or even a Supreme Court justice.

Give the Gift of TRUMP

The CFPB was created under the guise that it would reform the financial sector and protect the public from predatory and dangerous practices. But according to the New York Post, there were some “shady things” going on within the organization. In November of this year, the head of the CFPB, Richard Cordray, decided to step down from his position and tried to replace himself with another Democrat, instead of allowing President Trump to appoint his successor. The courts would decide that Trump was in the right, and he appointed Mick Mulvaney to head the bureau until a permanent head could be nominated. This move infuriated Elizabeth Warren, as she knew she would no longer have control over the agency, and her real intentions might be exposed.

According to the New York Post: CFPB is a Democrat shop with an anti-business agenda that goes well beyond protecting consumers and includes closing the “wealth gap” and administering “economic justice”. It hires almost exclusively Democrats and “rejects Republican job applicants,” according to former CFPB enforcement attorney Ronald Rubin. Federal election data show 100 percent of political donations made by CFPB employees during the 2016 election were given to Democratic candidates.

The Post also suggested: Bounced business owners and industry reps from secret meetings it’s held with Democrat operatives, radical civil-rights activists, trial lawyers and other “community advisers,” according to a report by the House Financial Services Committee.

Retained GMMB, the liberal advocacy group that created ads for the Obama and Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns, for more than $40 million, making the Democrat shop the sole recipient of CFPB’s advertising expenditure, Rubin says.

Met behind closed doors to craft financial regulatory policy with notorious bank shakedown groups who have taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal grant money to gin up housing and lending discrimination complaints, which in turn are fed back to CFPB, according to Investor’s Business Daily and Judicial Watch.

And it gets worse: The CFPB, according to the Post, funneled a large portion of the more than $5 billion in penalties collected from defendants to community organizers aligned with Democrats — “a slush fund by another name,” said a consultant who worked with CFPB on its Civil Penalty Fund and requested anonymity.

So if true, the CFPB was basically extorting money in the form of penalties from one group and sending the money to left wing groups, which is basically a slush fund according to a former CFPB employee and whistle blower. No wonder Elizabeth Warren has been so outspoken against President Trump. The Democrats never thought they would be faced with any accountability, because they never thought they would lose the election.

It’s that time of year again, and Loyola has decked out its buildings with decorations for the holiday season. But Christmas gets more attention on campus than other religious holidays.

And the above type of Muslim events take place every week in the Loyola University calendar year.

A 19-year-old Muslim student and a prayer coordinator for the terror-tied Muslim Student Association, Sajid Ahmed, said he likes the Christmas decorations around campus, but “wishes Muslim holidays were just as prominent.”

The entire campus is invited to a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, while Muslim students must celebrate in private without seeing the campus transformed into a Middle Eastern wonderland, the complaint continues.

So, even with a traditionally Catholic school turning its back on its foundations and using watered-down Christmas decorations, Muslims aren’t satisfied. Like they say, give a Muslim an inch, and they’ll destroy every mile. Same goes for leftist academia.
