No doubt that most of you here are aware by now that DC has a bill in play that will mandate that girls register for the draft for the same purpose that boys do. Who do we pat on the should for having decided to put young American females in harm's way? John McCain, the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee himself.
According to Conservative Review:
MAY 12, 2016
Earlier this week, I noted that the final House version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) contained a provision for the first time ever including young women in the requirement to register for Selective Service. However, this provision was only added because of a strategic mistake of the committee chairman who thought the members would vote down this absurdity. He was just trying to make a point. John McCain, on the other hand, who is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, deliberately placed that provision in his chairman’s mark of the NDAA, according to a Senate staffer.
I am further told by Senate staff that it is unlikely an amendment to strike this provision will even succeed on the floor of the Senate, which means a majority of that body now supports drafting women. The only hope to stop this is on the House floor. Have we gone mad as a society?

As if the morale of our military wasn't low enough w/ the faux-fighting and the deep cuts! The "honorable" former prisoner of war himself played that hand.
Can you imagine what the enemy WILL do to an American FEMALE ground soldier, Marine, or SEAL, if she's captured?
And now it's up to the "good boy" of the House, Paul Ryan, to kill it. Why do I doubt that he will. It SHOULDN'T'VE got passed the Senate as it is!
America is screwed! I can see how it can just play out in the future...
BREAKING NEWS
> Taiwan signs a treaty w/ China to end hostilities. China sends a battle group to its ports.
> Iran tested an underground nuke. Cuts flow of oil to the West.
> Putin threatens to cut natural gas to western Europe unless it cuts back its missile defenses, and the NATO nations, including the United States, allows entry to more MidEastern refugees.
> Putin sends a carrier and battle group to Cuba for "friendly" naval maneuvers.
> NKorea starts shelling SKorea. China threatens to dump it's US Treasuries if the United States takes any action.
> China forms a blockade around Japan. Japan signs a peace and economic treaty w/ China to avoid a full invasion.
Due to lack of any military response from the US, and its own economic strains, Japan dumps hundreds of billions of US Treasuries.
I'm not saying that it "will" play out this way. But, you do get the picture.
There was only one sure way for the US to end, and win, WW2. But, back then, our economy was growing, thriving, because we were an independent and self reliant industrial power - that was NOT BURIED in well over $220T in total Debt. We were still under the restraints of the gold standard. Thus, we weren't printing FIAT currency.
BACK THEN, our nation was united and our conventional forces were strong. The cancer called "political correctness" had not yet riddled the nation.
Oh, and lets not forget. BACK THEN, we were the only kids on the block w/ any nukes. Whoever thinks, or just simply wants to believe, that the world's "chess players"...and I am NOT talking about the ole USA...aren't setting up their economic and military "chess pieces" for such an event as we speak, well, zzzzzzzzzz.

W,
Every key nation's economy on Earth is crumbling. There's already a shift veering away from the USD as the world exchange currency as the Fed continues printing "Monopoly" money. Mathematically speaking, the US is unable to oay back its Debt. There isn't even enough gold on Earth to ever equal the value of our USD to be used as collateral. And the other nations are facing the same dilemma. And, again, unlike during WW2, the US is not the only nation in the world w/ nukes.
Thus, imo, at this point, nukes shouldn't b considered a "solution" at all either. But,sadly, they are going to be used. Even if the USA doesn't launch them first.
Are there any solutions short of a nuke war ?
