Atheists are at it again with trying to tear down all that christians hold dear by throwing up a fuss over this being on federal land. I am sick of these trecherous people who want to tear down anything that has to do with christians.I want to get a law passed that stops these kinds of lawsuits from being considered when it comes to the heros that gave all so these idiots could actually have a voice.I say silence that voice of derision and send them packing

    I agree Tea party founder ,The Constitution is a living document meaning that ammendments can be made and I believe it is high time that this issue is tackled head on,I believe that language needs to be introduced that can stop this kind of oppression through twisted constitutional interpretation that makes it easy for the atheist crowd to sue the country into a secular prison.

    The problem occurs when opposing ideologies feign injury to suppress commonly held beliefs.  It is Unconstitutional for our courts to issue edicts for the obscured fanatic who wants to unravel our foundations and communities.  There is plenty of localities that will embrace the wantonness of the fanatics.  It is absurd that the courts must defile the entire nation with Godless values of the few and extreme.

    William,you get it.....thank you,separation of church and state in my mind simply means as a person or agency of authority you cannot use your position to influence laws and legislation that adversely effects others based on their religion.What does that have to do with christians paying their respects to those who gave their lives in defense of this country who were also christian through a statue on public land to remember their sacrifice. It is just to over the top for me.Thanks for the comment.

    THE SEPERTION OF RELIGION AND STATE WAS INTENDED TO PREVENT ANY RELIGION FROM BEING FAVERED OR PROMOTED BY GOVERNMENT.  YET WE SEE SO MANY PEOPLE ASKING GOVERNMENT TO PREVENT CHRISTIANS FROM PRACTICING THEIR FAITH PUBLICLY.  ALL FAITHS OR NON FAITHS ARE ENTITLED TO PRACTICE THEIR BELIEFS PUBLICLY AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT INFRINGE ON THE RIGHTS OF ANY OTHER FAITH OR BELIEF, THIS IS WHAT OUR FOUNDERS DECLARED, YET SOME OF THESE FANATICS ACTIIONS ARE A VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION BY ATTEMPTING TO DISRUPT AND DENY THE RIGHTS OF OLTHERS AND ARE  UNCONTUTIONALLY  SUPPORTED BY THE COURTS AND ENCOURASGED BY THE MEDIA AND WILL PROBABLY CONTINUE AS LONG AS THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HOLD THESE DISRESPECTFUL VIEWS
