I was amused at the "how great I am " speech by the de-throned Pelosy. It is now up to us, the American People to hold the 112th Congress liable for our near and far future. I see already the liberal left crying foul about the debt and deficit when all they did is increase the deficit to a record cost ,a 50% increase that would be illegal if committed by a "common American". We have acquired one piece of the puzzle,lets go forward and gain the other two pieces for an American picture, the true picture of the citizens of the United States of America.
Going forward is what we've done at Tea Party and forward we will continue, whether or not Pelosi holds us accountable to her notion of forward. Pelosi is history. I have a vision of an unbelievablely bright future without her.
How quick we forget that we are in two wars that were started under Bush's watch. At the same time we had a financial meltdown caused by oligopolies looking out for there own self-interest while the previous administration did nothing about it. Much of the deficit is related to both of these occurances.
Make no mistake, I am not saying that the democrats have nothing to do with our current problems. We need to step up, make it illegal for unions and corporations to buy voes and enforce anti-trust laws.
But, actually, I think it is a good thing that we only won the House. Enough to give us a sign that we have a chance. Enough to have a presence. But not enough to let them blame all the crap that is about to hit the fan on us. And not enough to make us think "Mission Accomplished" too soon.
Even if we should take the other two next time around, there will still be lots and lots of work to do just to hold onto it long enough to accomplish some lasting good for Our Nation!
