CVS To Stop Selling Tobacco Products

This week CVS pharmacies announced they would stop selling tobacco products by October 1, 2014.

.

Why not let the market decide? Tobacco is a legal product, legal to be sold and legal to be purchased. If the public wants to buy it then it is their choice. I’m sick and tired of others taking our choices away, as though we are to damn stupid to chose for ourselves, we have to have some pinhead do it for us.

.

Obama, he never misses an opportunity to take center stage, in his braggadocious manner and make something his. Personally he sickens me just as much as a company, institution or government taking our right to chose away.

  • Some have said, mistakenly in my opinion, that what CVS is planning is the market at work; but I don’t see how that opinion can be arrived at?

If a store/pharmacy has items on their shelves that are not selling then that is the market saying they are not interested in it, and therefore grounds for the store to remove it, after all why remove an item that is selling and bringing in money, that makes no sense. What CVS is doing is falling in line with Obama et/al, being a good little soldier, they do have the contract for county, city, state and federal employees in many areas so they do not want to be seen as an independent thinker, but a fall in line and keep your mouth shut stooge for Obama and company.
