I HAVE WATCHED EVERY DEBATE OF PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS. AND I HAVE MADE MY OWN JUDGEMENTS.

ROMNEY- A MAN OF EXCEPTIONAL BUSINESS ACUMEN BUT VERY STUBBORN RE ANY MISTAKES HE HAS MADE I QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT HE HAS LEARNED ANYTHING ENOUGH FROM THOSE MISTAKES TO MAKE CORRECTIONS IN HIS REASONING

 

PERRY- HE HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB IN TEXAS, A STATE THA5T HAS NO INCOME TAX, IS A RIGHT TO WORK STATE WHICH DOES NOT GIVE HIM ANY EXPERIENCE IN DEALING WITH COMPLEX LABOR OR TAX PROBLEMS

 

CAIN- A REMARKABLE GENTLEMAN IN MANY RESPECTS BIT I DON 'T BELIEVE HE UNDERSTANDS THE COMPLEXITIES OF OUR SOCIETY AND DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ABLE TO GRASP THE VASTNESS OF THE VARIABLES THAT MAKE UP OUR SOCIETY. LAST NITE HE REFERRED TO HIS TEAM OF ECONOMISTS THAT CREATED HIS 999 PLAN. IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE IN MY 82 YEARS THAT THESE HIGH PRICED PROFFESSIONALS DEAL MAINLY WITH THE PROBLEMS OF THE AFFLUENT AND HAVE NO CONCEPT OF THE REST OF THE WORLD.  MY 50+ YEARS AS AN INCOME TAX PROFFESSIONAL PROVES TO ME THAT HE HAS NO UNDERSTANDING WHATEVER OF THE EFFECTS TAXES HAVE ON THE COMMON PEOPLE, WHERE I HAVE 50 YEARS OF OBSERVING THOSE EFFECTS AND HIS 999 PLAN PUTS EVERONE IN ONE SIMPLE LITTLE BOX WITHOUT REGARD TO ANY INDIVIDUALS SITUATION.   

PAUL- A STRICT LIBERTARIAN WHO DOESNT SEEM TO UNDEWRSTAND THAT LIFE IS NOT NESESSARILY WITHIN THE STRICT BOUNDARIES OF LIBERTIAN CONCEPTS.  LIFE IN OUR SOCIETY RESULTS IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH CANNOT BE RECONCILED TO STRICT LIBERTARIAN PRINCIPLES

 

GINGRICH- A MAN WHO HAS STUDIED A WIDE VARIETY OF POLITICAL SYSTEMS AND IS WELL AWARE OF THE ADVANTAGES AND PITFALLS OF EACH- HIS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE WOULD PROVE INVALUABLE IN A VICE PRESIDENTIAL ROLE 

 

HUNTSMAN- AN EXCELLENT STATE GOVERNOR AND A GOOD AMBASADORE TO CHINA WITH A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE FORIEGN AFFARS EXPERIENCE BUT I BELIEVE THAT A MORE VARIED EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY FOR A PRESIDENT

 

SANTORUM- I ALWAYS LIKED HIM AS A SENATOR ANDS HE HAS A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE CURRENT POLITICAL SYSTEM CURRENTLY PRESENT IN WASHINGTON AND HOW TO GET THINGS DONE IN CONGRESS

 

MICHELE BACHMAN- A DELIGHTFULL CHANGE OF PACE FROM THE TRADITIONAL POLITICIAN. HER PASSION FOR THIS COUNTRY  AND THE PRINCIPLES THAT MADE THIS COUNTRY GREAT IS SO OBVIOUS AND REFRESHING TO SEE. I SUPPOSE I HAVE AN AFFINITY FOR HER AS SHE HAS WORKED AS A TAX ATTORNEY AND I HAVE BEEN A PRACTICING INCOME TAX PROFFESSIONAL FOR OVER 50 YEARS.  SHE HAS DISPLAYED A KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTSANDING OF TAXES MUCH GREATER THAN ALL THE OTHER CANIDATES COMBINED.  SHE IS THE ONLY ONE OF THE 8 WHO HAVE ATTEMPTED TO GET RID OF SOME UNPALLETABLE LEGISLATION THAT HAVE BEEN SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS BY THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION. SHE HAS PROVED THAT SHE IS A DOER, NOT JUST A TALKER.

 

I HAVE ALSO GIVEN A LOT OF THOUGHT OF HOW EACH CANDIDATES TALENTS COULD BEST BE USED BY WHOMEVER WINS THE ELECTION. THIS IS MY PERSONAL EVALUATION AND I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS IN THIS REGARD.

 

ROMNEY- HIS BUSINESS EXPERIENCE WOULD  BE INVALUABLE AS THE COMMERCE SECRETARY

 

PERRY-I BELIEVE HE WOULD MAKE AN EXCEPTIONAL LABOR SECRETARY

 

CAIN-THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION SHOULD BE HIS CUP OF TEA

 

PAUL- A LIBERTARIAN ATTORNEY GENERAL SHOULD BE JUST THE TICKET

 

GINGRICH- I HAVE PREVIOUSLY TAGGED HIM AS THE PERFECT VICE PRESIDENT

ANOTHER INTRIGUING THOUGHT HOW ABOUT SARAH PALIN AS AMBASSADORE TO THE UN, COULD THERE BE A BETTER SPOKESPERSON TO UPHOLD AMERICAN VALUES.

  • Hello David O'connor.  for your info, I probably have read more than you have, you see, I research all sides of an issue or personality. as far as my political action career is concerned, just take the time to read  the blog "political action resume of my dad bill uthe" written by my son and included in my blogs. It wouldn't hurt for you to read several of my blogs which show the extent of my research on different topics.  I have over 40 years as a practicing income tax proffessional/accountant, corporate comptroller, vice president of purchasing in charge of importing, assistant treasurer in charge of cost accounting, registrered representative on various stock exchanges among many other things. I have lierned over the years, that no one is perfect, we all have made mistakes in our lifetimes.  I do not claim that my analysis is perfect, that is why I asked for comments. I believe that each of the candidates has their own  unique talents that could be used in the best interests of the country and we should try to make a determination as how the talents of each one can best be utilized and I would love to hear other opinions but being a positive person, I prefer to hear positive opinions, I despise negativity.

    I am announcing my candidacy for the Republican nomination for President of the United States. I made this decision for many reasons, but there a few very important ones. Leadership is the most important. This is the most important quality that the citizens of this country demand of their President. Our President has displayed a continued lack of leadership, eloquent speeches, but no action. President Harry Truman said, “In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.” Where are we now under President Obama? His lack of leadership and courage dates back to his days as an Illinois State Senator when he refused to take a stand and voted present 36 times.

    As President I will take a stand on the issues and you will know my position and why I believe in those ideas. No eloquent speeches without substance, just action. I will lead us in the right direction, with everyone working together for the good of the nation.

    I am the polar opposite of the President on the role of government. Government is not the answer to all of our problems. The federal government has grown too large and interferes in our daily lives. It needs to be vastly reduced and we must remember what our founding fathers wrote about the purpose of government.

    “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

    In the days to follow, I will detail how we must reduce the size of the federal government to conform to the principles of our Constitution. One example of promoting the general welfare means taking care of children, the elderly and the disabled; not telling us what type of light bulb we can use or how we choose to provide for our own health care.

    I do not believe in an “entitlement” mentality in our society, but I do believe in a safety net for our citizens. People should be rewarded for hard work, not penalized by our government. I believe in capitalism, not socialism. The private sector creates jobs. Government should create an environment that allows the private sector to grow and create jobs. The only jobs created by government are those for essential services.

    I believe in a fair and equitable tax system. We should not be scrambling every year to fill out tax forms. There should be no need for individuals and businesses to search for tax “loop holes.”

    We will fight terrorism and defend our country. We will secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. Our nation is a nation of immigrants. We are all proud of our heritage, but we are all Americans. We are a free nation. Free to practice our religion, but we are a Christian nation.

    It is time for ordinary citizens to become involved in government. Every election cycle gives us career politicians who are out of touch with the day to day problems we face. I have had personal and financial struggles and have suffered being laid off, only to accept a job at half the salary I was accustomed to earning. What day to day struggles do the current candidates have in common with the working people of this country?  I don’t think I personally know someone that can afford to attend a thirty-five thousand dollar fund raiser. </</body>
