Dirty Cops and Bad Actors FBI, DOJ

by Ken Bliss:

I for one do not like dirty cops. They besmirch the name of any organization they work for.  I feel sorry for the rank and file of the FBI.  I feel sorry for the rank and file of the DOJ.  Even though they are hard working, honest professionals the shadow of this is cast over them.  Trust me, they feel it and I am sure they are angry.  None of this turmoil was created by their own hand.  This problem was created by a few bad actors, the hierarchy on the seventh floor and backed up by the DOJ.  These are the individuals that have attained so much power they felt they had the right to manipulate the system.  Contrary to what the Democrats are preaching the only way to fix this is to cast light on these bad actors and actions.  We have to give the FBI their reputation back.  We have to protect our citizens right to privacy.

The problem:

If you do not care about privacy rights, or the rule of law then you can say that the release of the FISA Memo was no big thing. I for one do care. Look at what they were doing. Spying on American citizens. Spying on a candidate for President and his campaign staff during an election with little or regard for the rule of law or procedures.   They created probable cause to obtain their illicit warrants. Probable cause paid for by the opposition party.  Information they withheld from the FISA court on four separate occasions. This wasn’t an oversight.  This was a form of deception to circumvent legal procedure and deceive the FISA court to obtain a wiretap for political gains.  Dirty cops, dirty prosecutors.

As time went on this became spying on a President elect and his transition staff. Finally spying on a sitting President and his staff.  The major point of this is that they are all American citizens.  Whether you agree with their politics or not they are entitled to the same rights as you or me.  Once again, dirty cops, dirty prosecutors.  Democrats and Republicans should all be outraged.

Am I the only one that thought the leaks to the bias press about private conversations during the transition were a little strange.  I have been with people talking on the phone. It only gives me one side of the conversation. An example of this are the reports of the conversation between President Trump and Malcolm Turnbull early on in the presidency.  All of which was leaked to the press.  For weeks we heard about their argument in the mainstream media.   This went on until the Prime Minister had to release a statement that they had a conversation but no argument.

Dirty cops, dirty prosecutors manufacture or plant evidence. Dirty cops, dirty prosecutors should go to jail. This really pisses me off. Now, look at it in conjunction with the meeting on the tarmac between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch? The Obama State Department unmasking of hundreds of these “intercepted” phone calls. This is was done in an attempt to weaponize  our government to spy on it’s citizens.

This wasn’t the first time they tried this. Remember this? Lois Lerner and Holly Paz — the two former IRS officials at the center of the agency’s targeting scandal Obama’s DOJ, specifically Eric Holder, (Fast and Furious) and Loretta Lynch never pursued this ignoring the public’s right to know what happened when the two decided to target Tea Party groups?

The solution:

All future FISA warrant applications need to be submitted with fully vetted documents showing probable cause.  These applications need to be signed off by the collecting officer, and command at both the FBI and the DOJ.  I say this because the one who really knows how reliable the information is should be the officer that actually collected it.

Prosecute all bad actors involved in this.   Spare the rod and spoil the child.  If Jeff Sessions doesn’t want pursue this then find a man who will.  Watching some of these corrupt people doing a perp walk is a strong deterrent to future ambitious agents and lawyers.  Also, I would like the congress to initiate an IG review or assign a special prosecutor to review all FISA warrants on American citizens issued for the last couple of years. I am pretty sure they would find that this isn’t just an isolated incident.  This group didn’t just come up with the idea.  They had practice.  The United States is a nation of laws.  No one individual is above the rule of law.  Just saying…
