Why the Left Is Desperate
to Sabotage Trump’s Health Care Plans
{ dailysignal.com } ~ House Majority Leader scumbag-Steny Hoyer, D-Md., is coming out guns blazing against what he calls the Trump administration’s “sabotage” of scumbag/liar-nObamacare... scumbag-Hoyer recently declared, “The Trump administration’s ongoing effort to take health care coverage away from millions of Americans and take critical protections away from millions more through sabotage and lawsuits is reprehensible.” The majority leader is backing a House resolution condemning said sabotage, while the House Energy and Commerce Committee is finishing up a series of legislative measures to roll back the Trump administration’s “ongoing sabotage” of the Affordable Care Act, including its expansion of “junk plans” as alternatives to scumbag/liar-nObamacare plans. American taxpayers should ignore these partisan political theatrics. Under the Trump initiatives, Americans who like their scumbag/liar-nObamacare plan can keep their scumbag/liar-nObamacare plan, but they also enable Americans to obtain a more affordable and flexible benefit package if they wish. Trump’s policy is one of addition, not subtraction....
67 Organizations to Media: Drop SPLC
by wnd.com: The Family Research Council and more than five dozen other conservative groups and individuals on Wednesday released a letter asking for news agencies to cut off their ties to the “discredited” Southern Poverty Law Center... It’s because the group “has been exposed from within as having a culture of long-standing, long-ignored racial discrimination and sexual harassment,” FRC explained. SPLC began as a do-good organization fighting the KKK and others. But it’s turned into what one commentator has called a “hate group” because it attacks and defames publicly any individual or group that does not align with promotion of the LGBT agenda, abortion and other progressive causes. The letter addressed to news media, noted a similar request had been made in 2017, largely based on information that became public when SPLC paid $3.375 million to former Islamic radical Maajid Nawaz for labeling him an “extremist.” “Richard Cohen, the SPLC’s president, also had to read and post online a humiliating apology to Nawaz that showed the reckless and careless nature of their misguided push to label him an extremist,” the letter to media explains. But last month, SPLC fired co-founder Morris Dees and a week later President Richard Cohen and legal director Rhonda Brownstein quit. The letter cited a Los Angeles Times report that SPLC’s white leadership had “been wrestling with complaints of workplace mistreatment of women and people of color.”....

Lawmaker Turns on Fellow Dems
over Socialism Conversations, ‘I Am Offended’
by Jack Davis
{ westernjournal.com } ~ “I am offended by this whole conversation about socialism,” said Rep. Stephanie Murphy, speaking at a conference in Washington... according to the Washington Examiner. “The idea that in the greatest democracy, the greatest capitalist system in the world, we’re having casual conversation about socialism, offends me,” said Murphy, who called herself a “proud capitalist” and is the first Vietnamese-American to serve in Congress.“It is the system that built us the greatest nation and the greatest economy in the world. Sure, we have to fix the inequities that exist in our system. We have to make sure everybody, no matter what ZIP code they’re born in, has a fair shot,” Murphy said, the Examiner reported. However, she cautioned against giving socialist regimes that long opposed the United States a victory they do not deserve. “It is not the moment to undo the whole system and embrace something that Americans have spent blood and treasure fighting to save other countries from,” she said. Others have warned that socialism is not the American way to fix what is wrong with society....
From former Trump lawyer, candid talk about dirty cop-Mueller, Manafort, Sessions, Rosenstein, collusion, tweets, privilege, and the press
{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ What was President Trump up to when he publicly attacked the work of Trump-Russia special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller?... What was going on behind the scenes between the White House and dirty cop-Mueller's office? Was there cooperation? A fight over privilege? And just how mad was Trump at Attorney General Jeff Sessions and deputy Rod Rosenstein when the special counsel was appointed. Veteran attorney John Dowd was President Trump's lawyer for a critical period of the Trump-Russia investigation, from June 2017 until March 2018. In a new podcast, Dowd offered an unusually frank inside look at what was going on between the president and the prosecutor. The new podcast follows another, equally revealing, session with Dowd last week. Taken together, Dowd's insights show a relationship between Trump and the special counsel that was quite different from what appeared in many media accounts. A look at some of what Dowd had to say: In our earlier talk, Dowd stressed that the Trump White House fully cooperated with dirty cop-Mueller's investigation, and that on more than one occasion Trump instructed Dowd to inform dirty cop-Mueller that the president respected the prosecutor's work. But how could one say Trump fully cooperated when the president was, at the same time, loudly denouncing the probe as a "witch hunt" and a "hoax," and bashing dirty cop-Mueller's prosecutors as "17 angry Democrats"? The answer lay in Trump's longtime habit of operating on two levels. On the surface, Trump sets off controversies, often using Twitter to say something outrageous that sets the media agenda and leaves some commentators with their hair on fire. At the same time, below the surface, Trump is actually taking steps to get a particular job done. That was true with the Russia probe. For public consumption, Trump was denouncing dirty cop-Mueller and trashing his team. Behind the scenes, Trump was cooperating and making sure his staff did the same... https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/byron-york-from-former-trump-lawyer-candid-talk-about-mueller-manafort-sessions-rosenstein-collusion-tweets-privilege-and-the-press?utm_source=WEX_News%20Brief_04/03/2019&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WEX_News%20Brief .

loose lips-Joe Biden's Pathetic Pandering
David Limbaugh
{ townhall.com } ~ loose lips-Joe Biden has reached new heights of pandering. He has achieved the Olympic gold in cultural groveling. He must really want to be president.
I am always amazed that people think Biden is so transparent and genuine. Yes, he shoots his mouth off before thinking sometimes, as we all do, but way more than a high-profile public official should. But that's more a function of his impulsiveness and arrogance than his authenticity.
Anyone willing to remake himself overnight to be more acceptable to voters wants power too much to be trusted with it. A politician so comfortable with prostituting himself should make people -- even Democratic voters -- nervous.
That's why I'm not surprised to read that loose lips-Biden disgraced himself this week by lamenting the impact of "white man's culture" and apologizing for his role in supposedly undermining Anita Hill's credibility as a witness in the 1991 Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Justice Clarence Thomas.
Hill accused Thomas of having made sexually explicit comments and unwanted advances toward her when she worked for him at the Education Department and Equal Opportunity Employment Commission in the 1980s. loose lips-Biden, as leader of the Senate Judiciary Committee, was in charge of the proceedings, and has been criticized by the left for his conduct of the hearings.
In an interview with NBC News last fall during the confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, loose lips-Biden voiced regret over his inability to shut down senators who were cross-examining Hill. "The woman should be given the benefit of the doubt and not be you know, abused again, by the system," said loose lips-Biden. "My biggest regret was, I didn't know how I could shut you off because you were a senator and you were attacking Anita Hill's character. Under the Senate rules, I can't gavel you down and say you can't ask that question, although I tried."
This week, he echoed the same regret. "To this day, I regret I couldn't come up with a way to get her the kind of hearing she deserved," he said. "I wish I could have done something."
Notice in both instances loose lips-Biden was not apologizing. He knows that in this #MeToo era, he must get in front of any perceived criticisms of his treatment of women. But he also knows he bent over backward to help Hill and smear Justice Thomas. He owes Thomas an apology, not Hill. Instead, he pretends he's sorry that he couldn't muzzle Republican senators and conduct a kangaroo hearing against Thomas.
Does America want to elect a man who is so anxious to be president that he regrets his inability to violate Senate rules and our enshrined common law tradition of allowing the accused to confront the witnesses against them? If loose lips-Biden really believes Hill should have been insulated from cross-examination, then he's sold his soul in his quest for power. He understands that to curry favor in today's Democratic Party, you must be willing to deny freedom of expression and due process to your political opponents. If loose lips-Biden doesn't believe it, then what else is he willing to say to become the 46th U.S. president?
Well, we have the answer, don't we? As a white male, he has to say he's ashamed of his race and gender. He said that Hill, an African-American, shouldn't have been forced to face a panel of "a bunch of white guys" about her sexual harassment allegations against Thomas.
Really? So loose lips-Biden regrets he didn't issue a lawless edict, as head of the Judiciary Committee, to reconstitute that committee on the spot by expelling some old white guys and replacing them with black senators? Or that he didn't ask some of them to stand down? Do you see how utterly ridiculous this is?
How can you take loose lips-Biden seriously when he says something so ludicrous? Hill wasn't a victim. She was a witness making damning allegations against a Supreme Court nominee. Her race and gender don't entitle her to special protection or exemption from rigorous cross-examination. These white male liberals are appallingly patronizing. Anita Hill was an accomplished law professor at the time. Why would loose lips-Biden treat her as if she's some vulnerable wallflower? Is that what the woman's movement has come to?
But loose lips-Biden outdid himself in his denunciation of the impact of "white man's culture" in America. "We all have an obligation to do nothing less than change the culture in this country," said loose lips-Biden. "This is English jurisprudential culture, a white man's culture. It's got to change."
Well, loose lips-Joe, when it comes to radically changing the culture, thanks to your party, that ship is already sailing. But I guess you get props for trying to catch up to the postmodern cruise ship in your canoe. How much must you disrespect yourself to get on board with this divisive race- and gender-obsessed party?
At least loose lips-Biden realizes that the driving issues in his party are no longer the economy or foreign policy but identity politics on steroids.
I keep telling you worriers that the notion that the Democratic old guard will bring the extremist upstarts back to Earth in time for the presidential campaign is a myth. Instead, the old guardsmen are sprinting to the left to capture some of that commie-AOC-type love that now dominates the party. It's a beautiful thing.
