. Visa Overstays Are a Growing Problem
While building a wall along the U.S. southern border, as well as hiring more Border Patrol agents, would help significantly in solving the problem of illegal immigration, another often less focused aspect of the problem has seen an increase. The Department of Homeland Security recently released its "Entry/Exit Overstay Report," which estimates that as much as 40% of all illegal immigration is due to overstayed visas. This isn't a new problem.
In fiscal year 2016, some 628,799 individuals overstayed their visas. Of that total, 544,676 are believed to still be in the country. These are individuals who lawfully entered the U.S. but remained beyond their allotted time and for whom no record of departure exists. Unfortunately, the percentage of overstays has seen recent increases — in 2015, it was 0.9%; in 2016, it increased to 1.07%. The greatest offenders tend to be students and exchange visitors whose visa overstays are 5.48%.
Homeland Security has been heavily invested in developing better biometric and biographic technology screening for those seeking entry, while focusing on tracking down visa overstay offenders has been less of a priority. Clearly, more Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are needed to track down these growing numbers of visa overstays.
While most illegal aliens do not engage in violent criminal behavior, it's a good reminder to note that two of the 9/11 hijacker terrorists overstayed visas. And while visitors to the U.S. are very much welcome, the laws are designed to protect citizen and visitor alike from those who would seek to exploit our nation's good will for their own nefarious purposes. ~The Patriot Post

Was OK For liar-Clinton, But Not Trump

{rickwells.us} ~ CNN propagandist Wolf Blitzer provided California Democrat Rep Adam “Shifty” Schiff with the customary leftist sounding board and platform from which to attack President Trump or speak in service to the siege in general... In his Wednesday comments Schiff spoke regarding the text of Comey’s testimony provided in advance of his appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. It’s an appearance which will require Comey, in order to preclude himself from self-incrimination, to support the statements of President Trump. The Democrats, including Schiff, are obviously disappointed. Blitzer starts things off by asking, “Were you surprised to read in Comey’s testimony that he did, in fact, tell the President on three separate occasions that the President was not under investigation?” Perhaps Schiff and Blitzer are still accustomed to every word coming from the White House occupant being a lie, having refused to accept that Donald Trump is now the President and that the imposter squatting there before is really gone. {rickwells.us} ~ In February Secretary of Defense James Mattis labeled Iran the world’s “biggest state sponsor of terrorism.” His comments came a day after President Trump imposed new sanctions against Iran... in response to a ballistic missile test. Mattis added, “We have seen their, Iran’s misconduct, their misbehavior, from Lebanon and Syria to Bahrain and to Yemen and it’s got to be addressed at some point.” We all remember the terrorist hijacking of US Navy patrol boats as Hussein liar-nObama was preparing to make his final State of the Union speech last year, touting their negotiated release as “assistance” due to the liar-nObama regime’s diplomatic prowess. But they are usually less obvious in their actions. Beyond carrying out direct attacks, Iran has regularly committed terrorism by proxy through Hezbollah, who committed the June 25th, 1996 attack that killed 19 Americans in the Khobar Towers, Hamas, the Taliban, militias in Iraq, and a variety of other terrorist groups. President Trump responded to the attacks in a statement saying, “We grieve and pray for the innocent victims of the terrorist attacks in Iran, and for the Iranian people, who are going through such challenging times. .Comey Says Loretta Lynch Tried to Get
Him to Downplay the liar-Clinton Investigation

{theresurgent.com} ~ In his sworn testimony before the Senate, James Comey just testified that Barack liar-nObama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, tried to get James Comey to downplay the investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton... She tried to get him to refer to it as a “matter” and not as an “investigation.” Look for much of the media to ignore this point today as they focus on Trump and claim that is old news. But it puts the Democrats in an amazingly hypocritical position to claim President Trump was trying to obstruct justice when Loretta Lynch did that. This comes on the heels of Comey saying he largely scrapped the liar-Clinton investigation because of Lynch’s private meeting with Bill liar-Clinton. alarm over ‘terrorist travel,’...

Kelly sounded a loud alarm Tuesday over an “unprecedented spike in terrorist travel” including to the U.S., moving to shore up the defense of the administration’s travel ban... one day after President Trump’s tweets seemed to undercut his case before the Supreme Court. The threat from terrorist “foot soldiers” is as great as ever, he said, and they are returning from training in Iraq and Syria home to Europe with orders to attack. {townhall.com} ~ In 1997, Osama bin Laden said on CNN, “We declared jihad against America because America is unjust, criminal and tyrannical.”
Bin Laden’s sentiment for America differs little, if any, from how leftists feel about America today. Maybe that’s why a leader like Donald Trump who vowed to “Make America Great Again” is met with great resistance.
Consequently, we’ve seen a disturbing alliance between the American left and the Muslim right (extreme). On Fox News, Muslim Reform Movement co-founder Asra Nomani raised deep concerns about the Democratic Party joining arms with pro-Sharia advocate Linda Sarsour to coordinate anti-Trump marches.
Nomani said, “The American left and its rabid hate for Donald Trump has just aligned themselves with somebody who is very counter to cohesion in America.”
Nomani’s statement begs the question: Are leftists more comfortable with Sharia law than American values and the United States Constitution?
Nomani’s explanation may also shed light on why comedian Kathy Griffin thought it was okay to channel the veritable evil of our day, the Islamic State, when she paraded around a fake, bloody and decapitated Donald Trump head.
Maybe that is why leftist judges felt free to block constitutional travel bans created to prevent what’s happening in Europe to happen here.
This could also explain why leftists in the media diverted attention away from the June 3 London attack by trashing Trump.
After the attack, Trump tweeted an appropriate message that America needs to get tougher on terrorism.
In short order, a savory CNN host named Reza Aslan, who once participated in cannibalism by eating human brain (not joking), called Trump “a piece of s**t” and an “embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency.”
Trump also tweeted: “We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don’t get smart it will only get worse.”
In response, MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts said this: “The president doesn’t want us to be politically correct, right? So, let’s not be PC about this. Is the president trying to provoke a domestic terrorist attack with this twitter rant to prove himself, right?”
If Roberts really wanted to discuss presidents provoking terrorist attacks, he should have looked no further than former President liar-nObama who not only provoked terror, he financed it, when he gave $150 billion to the mother of all terrorist states, Iran.
If Roberts really cared about what might cause domestic terrorist attacks, he’d recall the liar-nObama administration kept its head in the sand when it came to potential terrorists. The liar-nObama administration ignored communications exposing that both the Fort Hood shooter and the Boston Marathon bombers were radicalized human time bombs. Of course, liar-nObama’s Department of Homeland Security made it their mission to remove references to the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam but had no problem calling pro-life advocates and military veterans potential terrorists.
Also consider how often leftists dance around motives or change the subject after terror attacks, even if terrorists shout their intentions for all to hear. In typical fashion, after the San Bernardino terrorist attack, President liar-nObama “consoled” Americans by raking them over the coals for their own lack of tolerance. Following the Orlando Pulse nightclub massacre which was the deadliest attack on American soil post-9/11, leftists did their best to turn Omar Mateen into a self-hating homosexual although he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State. The FBI also confirmed Mateen was radicalized and under investigation.
On June 4, Trump vowed he would do whatever is necessary to protect Americans from a “vile enemy,” reiterating, “This bloodshed must end, this bloodshed will end.” Trump promised he would do whatever it takes “to prevent this threat from spreading to our shores and work every day to protect the safety and security to our country, our communities and our people.”
Meanwhile, leftists are resisting Trump at every turn. If we are attacked, those blocking his efforts should be held accountable.
