I am in college and was asked to write a paper on our country's current Tea Party? I would like to know basically besides your 15 rules what it is? and how you as a group go about things ? the ins in outs to fully understanding of this party. If anyone would like to be interviewed over the phone who is in a political role that would also be a great help, but please help me understand.
The tea Party started by freedom loving people started talking to each other on a local level and it expanded over a period of time untile aqbout 3 years ago, it erupted into the political spectrum.
We are basicly just ordinary folks who are tired of political rhetoric with no meaning. We have become concerned about the path that self serving politicians have set us on. We refuse to follow blindly the proclaimations of the so called self proclaimed intelectualy elite. We are free thinking individuals who put mor stock in the reality of our lives and we make up our own mnds about what is best for us. We believe in the principles that this country was founded on as well as the faith in whatever God we believe in. We are a complex mixture of overy type of religion, every type of personalities and we are what each of us has evolved into from our individual life experiences. We are diverse in our opinions but our common interest is the preservation of our God given rights and freedoms. As with any group of people, we have attracted a few extreme people in their behavior and actions but those people are not indicative of tthe group. We share or ideas, our thoughts and our priorities with a common respect for each other.
Those who try to demean us because we believe in using the most powerful weapon there is "our vote" and they see that this weapon is a threat to their concept of how thing should be and many of those people who attack us with vitriolic and vicious rheteroc are those who follow thier champions blindly withou the guts to free up their own minds to common sense and real logoic.
