I fully agree that President Obama should be impeached but, right now, it will not happen!
The House brings the Articles of Impeachment by a majority vote (217 votes to pass and there are 233 R's).
But here is the block to impeachment: the Senate holds the Impeachment Proceedings (trial) and 2/3 of the Senate is needed to impeach the President. That means 67 votes for impeachment are needed to impeach. In this Senate, the Republicans have only 45 votes. 22 Democrats and Independents would have to vote for impeachment in addition to the 45 Republicans. Harry Reed will not allow this to happen.
However, the impeachment proceedings can go forward IF we take back the Senate with a good majority. Even then we may not have the number of votes to pass the impeachment.
