Ky. Republicans File Immigration Bill As PromisedIllegal Immigrants Would Be Arrested For TrespassingPOSTED: 5:40 pm EST January 4, 2011Email PrintComments (1)FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Senate Republicans have followed through on a promise to file a bill aimed at cracking down on illegal immigrants in Kentucky on the first day of the 2011 legislative session.Republican state Sen. John Schickel, of Union, introduced the legislation on Tuesday, and Senate President David Williams said the measure could be approved and sent to the House for consideration by week's end.The measure would allow police to arrest illegal immigrants on trespassing charges for setting foot in Kentucky.Critics claim the legislation is broader than a law passed in Arizona that is facing legal challenges. The Kentucky measure would allow police to determine the immigration status of people they detain and to charge them with criminal trespass if found on public or private property in the state.

Phil, A FEW BILLION?  Yeah, each and every year they are here adding on to the previous years they were here!

Just a for instance 20,000,000 times $10 ( a small annual cost per illegal ) equals $200,000,000 PER YEAR.

Now let us get more realistic, shall we?  Instead of about $10 per year, let us say they are actually costing us on a monthly basis. $2.4B annually?

Now instead of only $10, let's try  $100, $200, $500 or more. Medical care, education, food stamps and welfare. How much does all that cost in just one month? AND IT IS CUMULATIVE!

$100 per month is $24B per year!

$1000 per month would be 240B per year!

    Each year and every year!

Is $1000.00 per month too high. do you think? Or not even close?

What about all of those unemployment checks going out, from our tax dollars, to U.S. Citizens who would be working and PAYING taxes! Each dollar they do not take is like two dollars added back to our treasury! And then they would be paying taxes too.

The Lawmakers who are allowing this to happen should be (Expletives deleted)!

  • if we could just get other states to follow
  • Outstanding....At least Kentucky seems to have the nerve to do whats right..It is a shame that the rest of the states cannot stand up and make an effort to eliminate what is playing a major role in the demise of this country.  Our present government, in it's infinite wisdom, make statements such "We are working hard to address the unemployment problem, we are trying to figure out ways to create jobs"  and " We are looking at ways to cut spending and our CBO and his staff are crunching numbers so that we can find ways to save money".....These idiots...Now I ask you...Just whom are they trying to create these jobs for?????   Are they in fact trying to create jobs so that they can entice even more millions to cross the border illegally????  Why are they trying to "create jobs" when by the stroke of a pen, they can open up 20,000,000 jobs simply by ridding this country of the illegals that are presently here and holding jobs?  About cutting costs....with the same stroke of a pen, billions of dollars would be saved in food stamps, medical care and education...I wonder just how many new schools have been built just to accomodate the huge population growth due to the overwhelming number of illegals' little anchor babies.  Oh yes, it is time to make steps to ridding this country of the very costly problem of illegal residents.
