{leanrightamerica.org} ~ On Wednesday, the U.S. Treasury Department notified Congress that they would be levying new financial sanctions against Iran – the first sanctions to be seriously discussed since the nObama administration sewed up a nuclear deal with the Islamic regime this summer... The new sanctions target 11 people and companies allegedly serving to support Iran’s ballistic missile program. The administration pursued these sanctions in the wake of several Iranian missile tests, including an Oct 10 launch of an Emad rocket. The rocket is said to be capable of delivering a nuclear warhead, which not only has inspired a new round of sanctions but could also threaten the structure of the nuclear deal itself. For its part, the regime in Tehran has said that any new sanctions would only embolden their resolve to develop ballistic weaponry. “As the U.S. government is clearly still pursuing its hostile policies and illegal meddling, the armed forces need to quickly and significantly increase their missile capability,” said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. The squatter in the White House extends an insincere greeting of “Happy New Year Everybody,” one that, if he truly meant it would be followed immediately by his surrendering to authorities and confessing his crimes. Obviously he’s just repeating a customary salutation. He reads from the corny script his hacks have prepared for him, saying, “I am fired up for the year that stretches out before us,” obviously he’s got some diabolical plans he can’t wait to unleash on a self-restricted, law-abiding American public. He claims his optimism is based upon “what we’ve accomplished together over the last seven years.” He has no accomplishments, only assaults and they were not conducted with the approval or cooperation of the American people, they were inflicted. In an email dated March 26, 2012 with the subject line "If true," Mark Penn, who has done polling for both Hilly Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, warns, "This could be about the stupidest thing ever said by a president in foreign policy." The younger Blumenthal, author of the book Goliath, is a fervent critic of Israeli policies and a self-described anti-Zionist. The senior Blumenthal referred his son’s work to the secretary of state, sending her transcripts and links to articles. On at least one occasion, Clinton appears to have asked that one of the younger Blumenthal’s articles be printed out in multiple copies for distribution. The Times of Israel has previously reported on correspondence between Sidney Blumenthal and Clinton regarding Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
