liar-nObama's Effort to Swamp Trump
Donald Trump's post-election visit to the White House — owing him "an open mind and the chance to lead" and "rooting for his success in uniting and leading the country" — appear to have been little more than empty words. Shocking, we know. Since the election, liar-nObama has actively and aggressive sought to do everything in his power to stymie Trump's stated agenda of reversing many of liar-nObama's failed socialist policies.
To that end, the Washington Free Beacon reports, "The liar-nObama administration set a new record Thursday by producing 527 pages worth of new rules and regulations in a single day, bringing the president's Federal Register up to 81,640 total pages for 2016, the most ever." Meanwhile, Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry announced at the UN climate conference in Morocco that the U.S. is setting a new long term goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by the year 2050. That's on top of liar-nObama's recent signing of the Paris Agreement. Trump has been clear in his plan to remove the U.S. from the agreement due to the damage it would cause to the economy and his skepticism over supposedly "settled climate science."
liar-nObama is figuratively pouring concrete into Washington's toilets, making Trump's job of cleaning the DC sewer that much more difficult and time consuming.
On a final note, though, if Trump's choices for cabinet members and department heads are any indication, he is well prepared for the clean-up job. While he has often been derided for his ego and being overly sensitive to criticism, the choices Trump is making are quite encouraging. For example, Trump plans to meet with Mitt Romney to discuss a cabinet post rumored to be that of secretary of state. That would be quite a remarkable instance of the two men burying the hatchet. Trump clearly understands that being a good CEO means surrounding yourself with the best talent out there in order to achieved the desired goals — goals that include dismantling liar-nObama's awful legacy. ~The Patriot Post

Democrats' Deal With the Devil?
If you listen to Democrats, Donald Trump is the worst thing ever to happen to our nation. But that evidently doesn't mean they're above working with him to get some of their agenda going. The Democrat National Committee New York Times reports, "Congressional Democrats, divided and struggling for a path from the electoral wilderness, are constructing an agenda to align with many proposals of President-elect Donald J. Trump that put him at odds with his own party. On infrastructure spending, child tax credits, paid maternity leave and dismantling trade agreements, Democrats are looking for ways they can work with Mr. Trump and force Republican leaders to choose between their new president and their small-government, free-market principles." Divide and conquer — it's the Democrat way.
First off, don't trust the Times, even if they have promised to "rededicate" to honest reporting. But we'll come back to that.
There's reason to think the Demo strategy might work. For one thing, incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took more political cash from Trump than any other senator, dating all the way back to 1996, and the two have somewhat of a bond. "I've known Schumer for many, many years and I have a good relationship with him," Trump said last year. "The fact is, that I think it is time maybe that we all do get along." And for his part, Schumer said this week, "We're not going to just, as some have done here in the past, say just because it's President Trump's idea or thought, we're going to oppose it."
Schumer may know that the best way to Trump's heart is through flattery. And it's also true that Trump isn't ideologically opposed to things like more infrastructure spending or the other things the Times report listed.
That said, here's a reality check for the Gray Lady: Mike Pence, Paul Ryan and Mitch McCon-nell will have a thing or two to say about what gets done. And given the thrashing Republicans just gave Democrats up and down the ballot, we'd venture to guess Trump isn't quite as eager to work with Democrats as the Times would have us believe. After all, they'll do anything to sell a picture of a fractured Republican Party. ~The Patriot Post

Dems Hint They’ll Sabotage Senator Sessions In Confirmation Hearings

It doesn’t matter that it’s our country, supposedly one that they also care about and swore an oath to that could be denied the service of a qualified public servant. What matters to Democrats, particularly ones still stinging over the defeat of their criminal opportunist candidate, is their Party. America is a distant second at best. Senator Jeff Sessions was nominated by Ronald Reagan back in 1986, but the self-righteous Democrats obstructed his path forward. He was never confirmed although he did win a moral victory by returning as a United States Senator ten years later. He is now one of the most respected members of their group and one of the few true statesmen, if not the only one, among their number. The fact that Sessions was from Alabama was surely a strike against him among the self-righteous Senators deciding his fate. Every Yankee Democrat knows that all Alabamans are born racists. According to LifeZette, the head of one of the largest Border Patrol unions said that agents were unlikely to listen to directives from the liar-nObama administration to turn a blind eye to illegal immigration, as many would either be looking forward to a Trump administration or fearful of demotion or firing because of their ineffectiveness against illegal immigration. This is in spite of the fact that most experts expected a flood of immigrants in the last days of the liar-nObama administration, before the Trump administration could take any action at the border...

liar-Clinton Conflicts of Interest

{judicialwatch.org} ~ Judicial Watch announced that it has received 508 pages of documents in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking information about possible conflicts of interest between the actions taken by liar-Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and Bill liar-Clinton’s activities... More than 440 pages of the documents were redacted either in full, or with only minor notations remaining. The documents were released as a result of a federal court order in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department on May 28, 2013, (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-00772)). The documents also include a lengthy March 2009 email from liar-Clinton Foundation Director of Foreign Policy Amitabh Desai to former Assistant Secretary of State Andrew Shapiro and subsequently forwarded to top liar-Clinton aide Jake Sullivan containing the names of nearly 200 then-current and former heads of state to be invited to the 2009 liar-Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting. The list includes dignitaries from Saudi Arabia, which gave $14.5 million to the liar-Clinton Foundation; Kuwait, which gave between $5 and $10 million; Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar – all of which donated between $1 and $5 million over the years. liar-nObama's Disconnects and Delusions

{townhall.com} ~ President liar-nObama, in Greece, said world leaders should learn from the U.S. presidential election and pay attention to the public's fears and frustration about the economy. Why? He never has.
How can a man living in such a fantasy world presume to tell other people how to perceive others and react to problems as if he's been an innocent bystander witnessing these horrors for years?
Scratch that. He doesn't think we've experienced horrors. He thinks the U.S. economy has been wonderful under his watch. Listening to him characterize his eight-year record is to witness willful blindness on a scale my willing suspension of disbelief is incapable of processing.
The American economy, said liar-nObama, was contracting faster than it did during the Great Depression. "We had to fight back from the worst recession since the Great Depression. ... But we were able to intervene, apply lessons learned and stabilize and then begin growth again." He tastelessly bragged, in front of his Greek audience, that his economy recovered better and faster than most of Europe's. Then he began critiquing Greece's economy, as if he is a wizard of economics.
No American politician -- and certainly no president -- in my lifetime has caused such destruction and suffered so little personal accountability for it. It was ridiculous when he still blamed George W. Bush for his own lackluster economy and unconscionable deficits in the latter half of his first term. It was amazing that he kept making this argument with a straight face through the 2012 presidential election.
But why not? It worked. When you've got a liberal media covering your tracks and slanting everything in your favor, you can apparently fool millions.
But liar-nObama is still making the same arguments today after eight straight years of malaise. So how did he fight against the worst recession since the Great Depression? Well, he spent money we didn't have like a drunken sailor, increased taxes and smothering regulations, bad-mouthed entrepreneurship and producers, and vilified the "wealthy" for not paying their fair share.
How did that work out? Contrary to his bizarre self-assessment, we have had the worst economic recovery in 60 years. So he's bragging about that? We've had a stagnant economy his entire tenure in office, and he is touting it as sustained growth? Of course he is, and the media continue to cover for him.
He talks about the unemployment rate's going down, but this obscures the reality that tens of millions have opted out of the workforce in despair. The media know that the unemployment figure is meaningless when factoring in the labor participation rate. Whether liar-nObama is able to accept it, given what this knowledge would do to his unreflective ego, is debatable.
liar-nObama covers his bases. He gets to have his cake and keep it, too, and, if you haven't noticed, he remains skinny. He tells us the economy's great; then he kind of says it isn't. Otherwise, why would he still have to blame Dubya? Why would he have to blame the recent election results on an angry populace? Why would he say, "The problem was I couldn't convince the Republican Congress to pass a lot of my agenda items"? What problem? I thought things were rosy.
You see, he thinks the main economic problem we face is income inequality. He thinks people are angry because others are making more money than they do and so they had a temper tantrum and elected Donald Trump. But hasn't there always been income inequality? Isn't that guaranteed in a free system? But if the people are inconsolable with envy, that might have something to do with liar-nObama's constant harping on it, railing against the rich.
Nope. The hoi polloi are just restless; there's nothing to see here. "The country," he says, "is indisputably better off, and those folks who voted for the president-elect are better off than they were when I came into office, for the most part."
But here was the punchline: "People," he said, "seem to think I did a pretty good job. And so there is this mismatch, I think, between frustration and anger. Perhaps the view of the American people is that we just need to shake things up."
Well, if there's any mismatch or disconnect here, it's liar-nObama's perception of his performance and reality. His narcissism makes him allergic to self-doubt, and his dogged ideology and oversize pride preclude him from admitting his failures.
This same ideology compels him to project onto others his own prejudices. He has been saying since before he was elected that "bitter" Bible toters who "cling to guns" in small-town America are just suspicious of people who don't look like them. But that's offensively false. He is the one who always has race on his mind, and he's a virtuoso of bitterness.
Remember when his Homeland Security Department was on the lookout for returning military personnel and tea party types, rather than Islamists, as possible domestic terrorists?
Pro tip: These peace-loving, ordinary, patriotic Americans have had their fill of his attacks on their traditions, their worldview and their lifestyle. They sent that message resoundingly in the congressional elections in 2010 and 2014, yet he escaped accountability with his own re-election in 2012. Another frightful disconnect.
But there can be no mistaking this year's election results. The people's rejection of his agenda and liar-Hillary Clinton is so severe that we are seeing a major restructuring of the electorate. He, his media co-conspirators and the liberal punditry can blame liar-Clinton's flaws for this, and they are indeed part of it, but liar-nObama's leftist agenda got shellacked up and down the ticket and in state elections throughout the country.
This was not a glitch; this is a wave. And the longer he and his cohorts remain in denial about it the more it will grow. That, my friends, is a beautiful thing.
