Putting an End to the Immigration Dream
by Michael Swartz: Since it was unconstitutionally enacted under Barack liar-nObama in 2012 in the wake of Congress’s refusal to pass the DREAM Act — a measure that would have amounted to amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants — the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program has served as the next best thing for nearly 800,000 people claiming they arrived here as children under the age of 16, even if they make this claim many years later. (A couple hours of paperwork and some nominal fees are a small price to pay for de facto legal status.)
However, the courts have chipped away at the stone of liar-nObama’s open-borders fantasy, halting the related DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents) program in 2014 — a verdict the Supreme Court sustained last year thanks to a 4-4 deadlock. With the DACA program also facing its day in court thanks to an executive-overreach lawsuit filed by 10 state attorneys general, there are those who see this as an opportunity for President Donald Trump to rectify our issues with illegal immigration.
This is because the Trump administration is likely to concede to the states in this legal matter, as his administration believes DACA crossed the boundary that separates executive and legislative powers. Notably, Attorney General Jeff Sessions agrees with the lawsuit’s intent, stating, “I like it that our states and localities are holding the federal government to account, expecting us to do what’s our responsibility to the state and locals and … enforce the law.”
Yet for all the tough talk candidate Trump uttered about stopping the influx of illegal immigration by building a wall and making Mexico pay for it, along with tossing out thousands of illegal aliens who have committed further, more serious criminal acts, his record on immigration is rather weak to date. Not all of it is his fault, of course. He’s been confounded by a court system full of activist judges and a GOP divided on how to best address the issue. But on this particular issue President Trump himself stated early in his term that he wanted to “deal with DACA with heart.”
With this pull from several different directions, there are reports that Trump will end DACA as soon as today. If not, it may be that he seeks to use the continuance of DACA as a bargaining chip in exchange for funding the border wall, or to elicit other concessions from Democrats on E-Verify or on passage of the RAISE Act, a measure sponsored by Republican Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue that would revamp the long-standing quota system which encourages entire extended families to make themselves right at home here by making immigration more merit-based.
At this point, funding the border wall seems more of a non-starter because Democrats who voted for the wall 11 years ago are threatening a government shutdown over its inclusion in the budget now — a shutdown the mainstream media will naturally blame on Donald Trump and Republicans.
Thus, given the real possibility of DACA being halted by the courts, a new political parlor game among analysts is figuring out the ramifications of such an occurrence. Like everything else in Washington, the question is how this will affect the 2018 midterms, but there’s also the question of Trump’s second term: How would a court battle that may keep him from delivering on this promise affect his supporters?
A narrative driven by the media is that being a hardliner on immigration alienates the all-important (and growing) Latino vote, which both parties covet. Yet Donald Trump won over enough support from ordinary Americans with his hawkish border talk to secure electoral victory, and so far that image has discouraged would-be illegals from sneaking across the border. On the other hand, if the word on the street south of the border becomes that of possible permisos for newcomers because Trump is working to maintain DACA, we can expect a flood of illegal immigration while the border wall we were promised over a decade ago continues to languish.
That’s why any announcement today or in the near future on eliminating DACA would be so important.
It’s just another reminder of how five decades of misguided policy, broken vows and just plain unconstitutional governance can’t be fixed in a matter of months, no matter how strident the rhetoric. ~The Patriot Post

Southern Poverty Law Center
Transfers Millions in Cash to Offshore Entities
The SPLC's chief trial counsel Morris Dees
by Joe Schoffstall
{freebeacon.com} ~ The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a liberal, Alabama-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization that has gained prominence on the left for its "hate group" designations... pushes millions of dollars to offshore entities as part of its business dealings, records show. Additionally, the nonprofit pays lucrative six-figure salaries to its top directors and key employees while spending little on legal services despite its stated intent of "fighting hate and bigotry" using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy. The Southern Poverty Law Center is perhaps best known for its "hate map," a collection of organizations the nonprofit deems "domestic hate groups" that lists mainstream conservative organizations alongside racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and is often referenced in the media... http://freebeacon.com/issues/southern-poverty-law-center-transfers-millions-in-cash-to-offshore-entities/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=4ae5ea65ee-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_09_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-4ae5ea65ee-45611665.
{greatamericandaily.com} ~ Throughout virtually the entire 2016 presidential election, the left couldn’t get enough of the discredited Trump/Russia conspiracy theory... One of the lead architects of this theory was John Podesta, liar-Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman. And recently, information about John Podesta’s very own connection to Russia has come to light, and it is shocking proof of his hypocrisy. It would be no surprise to most Americans to hear that someone in liar-Hillary Clinton’s network did something hypocritical... http://greatamericandaily.com/the-russian-connection-that-has-come-back-to-bite-john-podesta/

Standoff brews between Senate, FBI over Trump dossier
by Byron York
{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Charles Grassley and the committee's ranking Democrat, Dianne Feinstein, want to interview two high-ranking FBI officials about some key aspects of the bureau's role in the Trump-Russia investigation... the Trump dossier, the firing of James Comey, and more. But the FBI doesn't want those officials to talk -- even though the Judiciary Committee has oversight responsibility for the FBI, and even though the request is bipartisan, and even though there appears to be no conflict with the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation conducted by special prosecutor Robert Mueller. A standoff could be developing... http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-standoff-brews-between-senate-fbi-over-trump-dossier/article/2633288

Admission About Prosecuting liar-Hillary Clinton
{greatamericandaily.com} ~ There are still mysteries surrounding the FBI’s investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton’s email server. Why wasn’t she prosecuted, and will she ever be? Now the FBI provided an answer that will shock you... Former FBI Director James Comey announced in early July 2016 that liar-Hillary Clinton would not face criminal charges. How Do You Feel About DEAD AMERICANS? –
Bolton On US Striking North Korea
by rickwells.us
{rickwells.us} ~ Ambassador John Bolton is asked if, following the latest test of a nuclear device by North Korea, there are any diplomatic options left... The only diplomatic option in his view, is to end the regime in North Korea “by effectively having the south take it over.” He says, “Anybody who thinks that more diplomacy with North Korea or sanctions, whether against North Korea or an effort to apply sanctions against China, is just giving North Korea more time to increase its nuclear arsenal, increase its ballistic missile capability, increase the accuracy of its guidance systems, and put us, South Korea and Japan in more jeopardy.” The frustration is evident in his voice as Bolton says, “We have fooled around with North Korea for 25 years and fooling around some more is just going to make matters worse.” In describing the threat they pose, Bolton says, “They are very close, they’re not there yet, I don’t think, but they’re very close to being able to hit targets all across the United States with, if today’s test is a thermonuclear weapon, with thermonuclear weapons.”... http://rickwells.us/feel-dead-americans-bolton-us-striking-north-korea/

{wnd.com} ~ As surely as the thunderclap follows a flash of lightning, it was inevitable that the inescapable human misery brought about by Hurricane Harvey would result in further baseless accusations of racism on the part of those on the left against President Donald Trump, as well as allegations of institutional racism as a pervasive influence in America. At present, it may be too early to tell how far this could go, but there’s every indication that the option of a full-blown defamation campaign is still on the table.
Why might one anticipate such an outcome? As I articulated last week, leftists have demonstrated that they are determined to associate alleged racism with just about anything they can, particularly if it will aid them in characterizing President Trump as a racist. On Aug. 25, the Daily Kos suggested that the hurricane itself might be racist, since it was “poised to disproportionately impact blacks in Texas,” and that the story was somehow being covered up. Apparently, President Trump’s failure to expeditiously fill leadership vacancies at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) and the Department of Homeland Security which oversees FEMA and the Coast Guard is also part of this conspiracy.
Another conspiracy: Citing the catch phrase “environmental racism” several times, the Huffington Post claimed Tuesday that flooding in Houston typically “hits poor, nonwhite neighborhoods hardest” because nonwhite residents have been deliberately crowded into neighborhoods that are most likely to flood. Who knew?
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, who represents Texas’ predominantly black 18th Congressional District, is a caricature of the black Democratic politician and has seldom missed an opportunity to decry institutional racism where there’s been no indication of such a problem. In 2011, Lee claimed that Republican members of Congress were making it difficult for President liar-nObama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race. Earlier this year, she demanded that Congress to call for federal civil rights investigations into the hanging of bananas from nooses at American University in Washington, which civil rights activists associated with a black woman having ascended to the position of student body president for the first time in that school’s history.
As we know, several similar occurrences in the recent past were ultimately attributed to leftist agitators rather than white racists.
Early this week, as a downgraded Hurricane Harvey stalled off of the Texas coast after making landfall over the weekend, Rep. Lee urged Trump to declare a state of disaster ahead of the storm. This was admittedly somewhat alarmist at that point in time, but obviously doesn’t rise to the level of race-baiting. On Friday, Lee’s office said that it was “too early to draw conclusions on the president’s response” to the hurricane which had yet to make landfall at that time, suggesting that the congresswoman was anticipating Trump’s response to the storm with a jaded eye.
It may appear cynical on my part, but it would not take too much misfortune coming the way of black Houston dwellers or any blacks in the hurricane’s path for Rep. Lee or other prominent liberals to mobilize the activist community in the cause of blaming President Trump for said misfortune.
This very thing occurred in August of 2005 when Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. In that instance, the state and the local government under black New Orleans Mayor Clarence Ray Nagin Jr. dismally failed that city’s residents, but the blame for black denizens’ suffering was placed squarely on the shoulders of President George W. Bush. Black activists, liberal politicians and celebrities came out in force to accuse Bush of everything from delaying aid to the city to having employed black ops technology to generate the killer hurricane in the first place.
Two days ago, eight members of President Donald Trump’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) resigned, ostensibly over his response to recent race-related incidents in Charlottesville, Virginia. This was a pretext, of course, in the ongoing drive on the part of Washington establishment types to characterize the president as a racist.
“When asked about the horrific violence in Charlottesville, you failed to denounce the intolerance and violence of hate groups, instead offering false equivalences and attacking the motives of the CEOs who had resigned from their advisory roles in protest,” the council members said in a resignation letter to Trump.
The quoted statement was an out-and-out falsehood – as have all statements been thus far in this calumnious campaign. Following the Charlottesville incidents, Trump did in fact denounce the actions of demonstrators in the strongest terms.
Last week, I also said that since white nationalists possess a miniscule amount of political clout in America compared to the political left, it is folly to consider them a serious threat, particularly since it is the latter who’ve been calculatedly compromising Americans’ liberties. From their proclivity to employ Orwellian levels of propaganda and social engineering, to rewriting history in their campaigns to remove Confederate monuments from public display, for example, to their penchant for violence, they are clearly the ones embracing deceit, terror and tyranny.
The dangerous irony here is that those on the left, from progressives to hard-line radicals, have been exploiting their First Amendment liberties in order to neutralize those very liberties as regards their fellow Americans. I have repeatedly cited this fact as justification for disregarding these liberties where it applies to the left – if not concerning policy, at least in principle.
So, how might a political party, an administration, or a voting bloc go about politically disenfranchising the left? That’s the question every right-of-center individual in America ought to be giving the deepest consideration at this juncture.

A very interesting question. Didn't even think about her last name. In fact, I don't really care about her at all.
