“On the heels of Chris Matthews remarks comparing the GOP to the violent, Islamic Wahhabis comes another MSNBC-delivered, hyperbolical reference to Republicans. This time, “Morning Joe” regular contributor and Editor-in-Chief of the Newsweek Daily Beast Company, Tina Brown, makes the comparison between the GOP and “suicide bombers.”

Subbing for a vacationing Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski set the table for the conversation by turning an off-air conversation about the President being held hostage by the debt crisis into an on-air discussion:
