Nonie Darwish: Is Quran-Inspired Advocacy Penetrating American Politics?

It is hard not to notice the similarities between the scare tactics used by Leftist anti-Trump resistance movement and the Islamic tactics used against non-Muslims, the Kafir.

One of the most notorious terror verses in the Quran commanding Muslims to terrorize and torture non-Muslims is “I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.” 8:12

This Islamic terror verse has inspired many Islamic jihadists to kill and torture non-Muslims. But today, Muslim DNC official, Congressman Keith Ellison, has cleverly inserted this egregious verse into the US political discussion. Ellison said: “Strike Fear in the heart of Donald Trump” while holding the Handbook of the domestic terror group “ANTIFA.” Ellison could not claim this as just a coincidence and not inspired by a terror verse from the Quran because he is a Muslim and should know the link between what he said and what the Quran commands. He thought that by changing the word “terror” to the word “fear,” Americans would not link his threat to our president to Islamic jihad terror.

One of ANTIFA’s goals is to use violent attacks and vigilante street justice against those whom they call “fascist.” They feel entitled and are proud of their terror and violence, just like Islamic jihadists. They wear all black cloths and in masks adding to their exhibitionist scare tactics, very similar to those who perform Islamic jihad. Hizbullah and Hamas armies and terrorist beheaders often use facial masks as well.

Keith Ellison’s endorsement of the ANTIFA booklet advocating violence while bragging about the use of Quran-inspired fear against the US president is in and of itself a call for jihad threats of terror to achieve one’s goals.

As an elected official who is also the second man in the Democratic National Committee, this is a lot more outrageous than Kathy Griffin holding the fake severed bloody head of President Trump. Yet another Islamic inspired over-the-top “joke” by progressive Leftists, among many.

Another recent threat of violence against the White House came from activist and delegate to the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Linda Sarsour, when she called for “jihad” against the president at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention.

The similarities in tactics and language against perceived enemies is also noticeable in the use the words “insane,” “unfit” or “unbalanced.” The progressive leftist media and politicians have been slandering President Trump on a daily basis with accusations of insanity. Tyrannical societies are known to sending leaders of the opposition mental institutions for being “mad” because they disagree with them.

Daily, President Trump is being called “crazy,” “unstable” and “unfit” on American TV, and that does not only influence public opinion inside the United States, but around the world. In fact, US media is doing the bidding for our enemies to disrespect and hate our leaders, but only those from one party, the Republican Party. Leaders of Iran and North Korea are constantly referring to Trump as unstable, thanks to US media feeding them this fake propaganda. With friends like the US media towards the Republican Party, who needs enemies?

Again, the tactic of calling one’s enemies “crazy” is common among tyrannies around the world and is commonly used in the Muslim world to isolate, belittle and shame the opposition. Apostates out of Islam are often killed or sent to mental institutions because Muslim society believe they are “crazy” for not believing in Islam.

Like Islamist TV, leftist-leaning TV anchors in the West are foaming in the mouth, just like angry sheikhs against non-Muslims, but in the West, the hatred and the anger is against an elected president and leader of the Republican Party. To the progressive Leftists, just like Islamists on Arab TV, nothing is off limits if it fits their agenda and God save those whom they call “insane.”
