Question

CAN YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION?

What is America to you.  Most people have never even thought about it. "What does The United States mean in my life?"  Let me help answer it for you!  This nation is your home.  It is the home of your family, your closest friends and your children.  Of course you already knew this and I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know.  Be that as it may, are you aware your home is subject to the greatest danger it has ever been in since the civil war.  You can dispute this all you want but deep down you know it's true.  The debt the Marxist laws recently passed by Congress.  Laws like the Patriot Act, The NDAA, and Obama Care to name only a few, combined with the militarization of almost every government agency , and police department serve as ominous indicators of a President and administration completely out of control.  A President and administration unwilling to obey the law, and at the same time commit unconstitutional acts almost daily.  Why should you be concerned about these things?  I will help you answer this as well.   I seriously doubt 1 out of every 300,000 people have read any of the legislation mentioned above.  If they had we would see many more people standing against this tyranny and treason.  If people truly understood that they can now be arrested without charge, held in prison indefinitely without having broken any law whatsoever.  If they understood they could be targeted by the government for assassination for no other reason than someone "thinks" they "might" be a threat.  If they understood that any government employee with any agency could enter their homes and search it without warrant or any cause whatsoever.  If they only knew there are many more tyrannical laws hidden in the NDAA and Obama Care they might know America means life, their lives.  Just where do you think you will go if you lose your home country.   Now, what does America really mean to you?

  • America is my HOME! I cherish our freedoms and bill of rights, our constitution. I love our flag and what it symbolizes. Many of my family have fought and some have died for that star-spangled banner to continue to wave. I fear for our country more than ever at the current time as all of our freedoms are being attacked by this administration who states "we are no longer a Christian nation".  I disagree! We were formed as a Christian nation and are still but the current administration, the ACLU, the atheists wish to eradicate God from our land.

I have spent 6 years of my life living "overseas" and learned much about other peoples of the world. Trust me when I say America is still the best and many people desire to come here, however, the time has come to restrict immigration to save our country. We cannot accept all who desire to come here. And all who do must not be allowed to demand to change our constitution or for us to support them.

After a two year tour in a third world country, I could not stop the tears when I saw our flag flying as approaching the airport for landing. I was home!11 Soon I would see my family and friends. I could drink the water without boiling it for twenty minutes, cooling it, or filtering it. I could worship without fearing death from radicals who believed it their duty to kill me. Fight for your freedoms, for if you lose them in our homeland, you will not like the evil that takes over.

  • Rena, our transgressions are great, but God is greater. Those that love God will fare well in that we have a heavenly home. The Bible teaches us that there will be a great loss of life as God's wrath is bestowed on those that work their evil.

  • YOU R CORRECT RENA AND GET READY FOR THE BIG ONE "PUBLIC PRAYER" HUSSEIN OBAMA WANTS IT GONE TOO.

  • I truly believe we are where we are, because we have turned our backs on God an allowed those we put in office to remove our Creator from every place that He once was the center of. If we don't repent as a nation we will see worse than Obama ever thought of being, because the hearts of men have be hardened to the truth. This is no longer a popular issue. It once was the center of all decisions made in this great nation.

  • It is very refreshing to see this question get asked. Either way you look at it there is no wrong answer; that is one of the things that makes America so great. We have citizens from all walks of life. You have Blacks and Whites. Christians and Jews. Northerners and Southerners. You can ask one person what America means to them and get a very good response. You can ask someone else the same question, and get another very good response and it could be a completely different answer. America can mean so many different things to so many different people.

If you were to ask me, I would tell you the first thing that comes to mind when I think of America is freedom. I could leave my answer at just that, but really think about it. What does freedom really mean? To me, freedom gives me the right to live out my life the way our creator intended me to live it. I don’t have to be worried about what I say, what I read and write, or by what name I call God. Fortunately, we have a sacred iron-clad document called the Constitution of the United States that secures this freedom for all of us. But the price of establishing and upholding this document was not cheap. Many men sacrificed everything they had to protect this idea of freedom. But none of this means anything if we don’t try and protect it. It is up to us, the people, to keep this idea alive. Samuel Adams once said “The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.”

Right now, we are against some very troubling times in our country. We have representatives and congressional leaders who seem to put their agenda above anything else. We have a president who has no interest in fulfilling his oath of office to uphold the Constitution. But what are we to do? The very idea of America is coming under attack on a daily basis. At this rate, what answer will our children give if they are asked “what does America mean to you?” Imagine the answers you may get in 10, 15, 20 years from now if things continue the way they are.

  • You Patriots are all correct; I cannot add anything more. God bless you and our wonderful Country!

  • This is my home. pure and simple.  My dad, my brothers, my sons, have fought for this country, and i will be damned if i let this asshole president take what they fought for from us..Over my dead body...

Home for my children, and grandchildren,  mess with them an i will become your worst nightmare.
