Palestinians Turn Jerusalem Into a Tool of Terror
by Noah Beck
by Noah Beck
{investigativeproject.org} ~ Palestinian and other Arab leaders threatened violence in response to President Trump's pledge to move the U.S. embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem... While Bill liar-Clinton and George W. Bush also promised such a move as candidates, each backed off. The terrorist who killed four Israelis in Jerusalem Jan. 8 by mowing them over with his truck expressed agitation after hearing a sermon at a local mosque criticizing Trump's embassy relocation promise. The Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership reportedly instructed the mosques it controls to focus their religious sermons on the embassy relocation. Worse still, the PA promised the terrorist's widow a lifetime, $760-per-month stipend for her husband's "martyrdom for Allah."...Keep your promise Trump.

IG Investigating liar-nObama Admin
Cyber Attacks On Georgia Election System
by Richard Pollock
{dailycaller.com} ~ Federal officials have launched an investigation into why the Department of Homeland Security hacked into the Georgia state governmental network, including its election system... The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned. John Roth, inspector general for DHS, wants to know why the agency broke protocol on its way to 10 unprecedented attacks on the system overseen by Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp — who is also one of the most vocal critics about the liar-nObama administration’s attempt to designate local and state election machinery as part of federal “critical infrastructure.” A Jan. 17 letter from Roth notified Kemp his office was officially “investigating a series of ten alleged scanning events of the Georgia Secretary of State’s network that may have originated from DHS-affiliated IP addresses.” A firewall in Georgia’s system thwarted each attempt... http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/25/exclusive-inspector-general-to-investigate-10-dhs-cyberattacks-on-georgia-election-system/

Democrats Are Obstructionists Worthy
Only Of America’s Contempt
by Rick Wells
{rickwells.us} ~ Lou Dobbs says he doesn’t want to be overly critical of the Dems, but then asks how such a thing would even be possible. He offers a few thoughts on “the reckless disregard for our national security and public safety by the Dems delaying and boycotting President Trump’s cabinet nominations... Mr. Trump was sworn in almost two weeks ago yet only six of his appointees have been confirmed, the fewest since 1933 at this juncture in his presidency.” “Democrats once again showing their contempt,” says Dobbs, “for all Americans, our national values, by boycotting another committee vote on President Trump’s EPA nominee, Scott Pruitt. But Republicans on the Senate Environment Committee did what their what their colleagues on the Finance Committee did, they decided to react. They suspended rules to advance Pruitt to the full Senate for an up or down vote.”... http://rickwells.us/dobbs-democrats-obstructionists-worthy-americas-contempt/

Is ISIS Breaking Apart?
by Charlie Winter and Colin P. Clarke
{foreignaffairs.com} ~ With the Islamic State (or ISIS) facing setbacks in Iraq and Syria, most observers believe that the group is crumbling. Indeed, just last week, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared eastern Mosul “fully liberated” from the group... Evidently, the U.S.-led coalition tasked with countering ISIS, well into the third year of its ongoing military campaign, has made progress. As a result of efforts in Iraq and Syria in 2016 alone, several high-ranking leaders have been killed or captured, the group’s finances have taken a serious hit, and it is hemorrhaging territory. Over the next few years, ISIS is sure to break apart further. As it does, it will likely walk down one of two paths. In the first possibility, its disintegration could wind up giving more weight to the group’s center of gravity, even as it becomes weaker overall. Alternatively, it could follow the example of al Qaeda in the 2000s and break down in a way that will diminish the influence of its core in Iraq and Syria while providing momentum to its provincial operations in such places as Afghanistan, Libya, the Sinai Peninsula, and Yemen... https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/2017-01-31/isis-breaking-apart?cid=nlc-twofa-20170202&sp_mid=53340060&sp_rid=cnVkeXRpcnJlQGdtYWlsLmNvbQS2&spMailingID=53340060&spUserID=MjEwNDg3NDk2MzU5S0&spJobID=1100403401&spReportId=MTEwMDQwMzQwMQS2

The Republicans Have a Secret Plan to
Replace Paul Ryan and They’re Acting on It
by Erick Erickson
{theresurgent.com} ~ Republicans have a keen, keen understanding of politics. They understand that mid-term elections tend to go badly against the incumbent President. They are already deeply worried about their President and already fear a bloodbath. They know the key to surviving mid-term elections is ramping up their base’s energy level to compete with an already energized Democratic base. So, like the geniuses they are, they have hatched a plan to oust Paul Ryan from the Speaker’s Office and are now proceeding with that plan.
What they intend to do is break every promise they have made to their base since 2010 and ensure Paul Ryan is replaced with Nancy Pulosi.
Republican leaders, against the wishes of Paul Ryan and Donald Trump, have decided to keep liar-nObamacare in place and “fix” it. Since 2010, they have told the base that if the Republicans would give them the House, the Senate, and the White House that they would repeal liar-nObamacare. Now, Paul Ryan wants them to repeal liar-nObamacare. Donald Trump wants them to repeal liar-nObamacare. But various committee chairmen in the House and Senate have decided to take a pass on doing that. They don’t want the hard work voters hired them to do and have decided to coast off the cliff.
Mid-term elections depend on an excited and mobilized base. The Democrats have it. If the GOP does not keep the one promise that made so many people stick with them, they will see their numbers wiped out. The typical turnover in the House in a midterm election is 30 seats. That would be enough to replace Paul Ryan with Nancy Pulosi. (What a big mistake)
If the GOP will not repeal liar-nObamacare — if they just tweak it or do some too clever by half Cassidy-Collins plan where they keep it and claim they did not keep it — the GOP might as well kiss the House goodbye and probably the Senate too.
