Eastwood 'Mocks' Jenner, Hollywood Uproar Ensues

Iconic actor Clint Eastwood made the terrible mistake of stepping outside the bounds of political correctness during the taping of Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards. The self-described libertarian, who has been in Hollywood timeout ever since he eviscerated Barack nObama in his illustrious "empty chair" rendition at the 2012 Republican National Convention, was introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson when he made an obscure — or what the Left media is calling "insensitive" — reference to Bruce Caitlyn Jenner. According to HollywoodLife.com, Eastwood "compared the San Andreas star to former athletes who have become actors, like 'Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody.'" The audience didn't find it very funny, and neither did Spike TV. The network says it "will remove the reference in the version that will air" June 18. Aside from the obvious question — what exactly was so derogatory about Eastwood's remark? — there lies a double standard. Liberals thought it was hilarious when Barack nObama used the "lipstick on a pig" reference against Team McCain in 2008, and they smirk every time Democrats describe right-wingers as terrorists, to name just a couple. In other words, not only must we call Bruce a girl, but we must not make fun of him or any other protected class; meanwhile, the Right is fair game. -The Patriot Post

CONGRESSMAN, YOU’VE GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO
Did you hear the one about the Democratic congressman who compared Marco Rubio to Ricky Ricardo? Probably not, unless you were glued to The Weekly Standard’s blog. But that really happened. For any Millennials who are reading, Ricardo was the character played by Desi Arnaz on “I Love Lucy.” He was a broad, mostly unflattering ethnic stereotype – a hot-tempered Cuban bandleader who would become outraged at his wife’s zany antics. Arnaz was something of a sex symbol, but certainly played his ethnicity for laughs.
Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Wisc., had nasty lines for nearly everyone in the GOP field, comparing Chris Christie to Jabba the Hutt, etc. Pocan at least knew enough to avoid Ben Carson. But let’s just flip this Rubio bit around and try it on for size. Imagine if a Republican congressman in 2007 had suggested then-Sen. Barack nObama should be played by J.J. “Kid Dy-no-mite” Evans from “Good Times.”
Rubio’s campaign is still swinging hard against the New York Times story exploring his topsy-turvy finances prior to his national rise, honing in on the paper’s miscasting as a luxury speedboat the $80,000 fishing boat Rubio bought. But here’s a more profound outrage on which to drum. Perhaps Ted Cruz can be brought in for a consultation.
For extra credit in your next class on “The Social Construction of Whiteness,” here’s a question to pose to your professor: Is the New York Times’ depiction of Rubio as an impulsive Cuban American the unwitting result of pervasive prejudice or a dog whistle? Discuss amongst yourselves. -Fox News

HOW LONG CAN HILLY DUCK IRAQ?
Amid mounting pressure over his Iraq war strategy, President nObama seems to be preparing to escalate U.S. involvement with hundreds more troops. The president who campaigned on getting the U.S. out of Iraq is getting back in, bit by bit. So what does Hilly Clinton think? Don’t be silly. Clinton doesn’t answer questions. Neither will she be talking much about foreign policy in the vanilla Pudding Pop of a campaign re-launch she has planned for the rest of this month.
Clinton, who is raising money behind closed doors this week, is ducking two kinds of questions. The presumptive Democratic nominee’s inbox of unanswered scandal-related questions was already overflowing, but now the real-time policy points that any candidate would be expected to answer is off limits. Iraq and trade are front and center and there doesn’t seem to be a good way for her to tip-toe between distancing herself from nObama and allaying the concerns of an anxious Democratic left. -Fox News

Bernie gets feisty: ‘Hilly Clinton has had nothing to say’ - USA Today: “‘I have been ... leading the opposition to TPP,’ the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal being negotiated, [Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.] said. ‘Hilly Clinton has had nothing to say. She hasn’t given us an opinion. And it’s hard for me to understand how Secretary Clinton or any candidate can avoid speaking out on what is a huge economic issue. You can be for it; you can be against it, but you’ve got to have an opinion.’ He went on: ‘I led the effort against the Keystone Pipeline. I don’t know that Secretary Clinton has spoken out on this issue. ... I led the effort when I was in the House against the deregulation of Wall Street. ... Where is Secretary Clinton on the issue of breaking up the large financial institutions?’” -Fox News

What’s in there? - Bret Baier pressed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell on transparency in the controversial trade authority bill, asking him why he wouldn’t release the text of the deal. “What Trade Promotion Authority is is a process to deal with it,” McCon-nell said, “The trade agreement will be completely transparent. We’ll have a chance to vote whether to approve it or not.” Watch the complete interviewhere.

How Islam Got its American Privileges
(Daniel Greenfield) ~ What is Islam? The obvious dictionary definition answer is that it’s a religion, but legally speaking it actually enjoys all of the advantages of race, religion and culture with none of the disadvantages... Islam is a religion when mandating that employers accommodate the hijab, but when it comes time to bring it into the schools, places that are legally hostile to religion, American students are taught about Islam, visit mosques and even wear burkas and recite Islamic prayers to learn about another culture. Criticism of Islam is denounced as racist even though the one thing that Islam clearly isn’t is a race.Islamist organizations have figured out how lock in every advantage of race, religion and culture, while expeditiously shifting from one to the other to avoid any of the disadvantages. The biggest form of Muslim privilege has been to racialize Islam. The racialization of Islam has locked in all the advantages of racial status for a group that has no common race, only a common ideology. http://www.aim.org/guest-column/how-islam-got-its-american-privileges/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email061115&utm_medium=email

nObama Dealt Massive, Humiliating Defeat
(Keith Koffler) ~ President nObama was handed a horrific defeat Friday in Congress as his own Party deserted him to thwart trade legislation for which he had personally lobbied and which he viewed as a keystone of his second term legacy... The vote, which was on a measure crucial to passage of the legislation, wasn’t even close, as the House rejected a trade adjustment assistance (TAA) package by 302-126. The final “fast track” bill probably cannot pass both houses of Congress without the TAA package – which would help workers displaced by trade. The House did pass the fast track bill after rejecting TAA. But now the legislation must go back to the Senate, and without TAA, it is unlikely to succeed there. http://www.whitehousedossier.com/2015/06/12/obama-dealt-massive-humiliating-defeat-trade/?awt_l=59AKM&awt_m=3d8l8kTRoSTM1Od

GOP Enabling nObama’s Unconstitutional Crony Capitalism
(rickwells.us) ~ Mark Levin asks the question, “Why do the Republicans time and again persist on assisting an agenda that is both diabolical and destructive?... Why did they give nObama the budget he wanted? Why did they stop fighting on unconstitutional executive amnesty? Why did they surrender the treaty provision of the Constitution? Why did they surrender the power of the purse provision of the Constitution? And why now do they seek to give this man, this man who is violating who is violating our Constitution, this man who is destroying our way of life, fast track authority? Levin points out the falsehoods of a claim to be “free-traders,” pointing out that “It is crony capitalism and corporatism.” He notes that he is a free-trade proponent and the Republicans in Washington DC are absolutely not. http://rickwells.us/mark-levin-surrendering-gop-enabling-obamas-unconstitutional-crony-capitalism-corporatism/

U.S. Arms Sales to Lebanon Empowering Hezbollah, Iran
(Adam Kredo) ~ Newly announced U.S. arms sales to Lebanon coincide with an nObama administration order to cut funding for an anti-Hezbollah Lebanese group, a move foreign policy insiders describe as empowering the Iranian backers of the terrorist group... Critics are viewing the cut to anti-Hezbollah efforts as another concession by the administration to Iran—which controls and funds Hezbollah—ahead of attempts to finalize a nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic ahead of a June 30 deadline. Newly disclosed documents reveal that the nObama administration quietly decided in April to cut funds for Hayya Bina, a leading anti-Hezbollah group in Lebanon, “due to a recent shift in Department of State priorities in Lebanon,” according to a letter notifying the group of the funding cuts. He has no idea what he's doing. http://freebeacon.com/national-security/u-s-arms-sales-to-lebanon-empowering-hezbollah-iran/

UN Global Govt Power Behind Climate Change Hoax, nObama Push
(rickwells.us) ~ Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) addressed a Thursday conference of climate realists organized by the Heartland Institute and the Heritage Foundation. The audience was composed largely of informed people who don’t buy into the hoax that mankind and CO2 are dooming, or even threatening, the Earth... He acknowledging that the motivation for climate alarmism is based entirely upon a desire for and the efforts to obtain authoritarian control over the people of the planet. Senator Inhofe is the chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and is keenly aware of the fraud, expressing his belief that former French President Jacques Chirac was correct in describing global warming as “the first component of authentic global governance.” He warned that, “The United Nations is the reason that this all came along. We all know that. They want independence. They don’t want to be accountable to anybody; to theUnited States or any other country. http://rickwells.us/sen-jim-inhofe-un-global-govt-power-grab-behind-climate-change-hoax-obama-push/

CNN anchor says left too dangerously P.C.
(Cheryl Chumley) ~ A black news anchor with CNN has sidestepped the cable outlet’s normally leftist leanings to criticize some in his own camp for over-the-top political correctness, saying the anti-First Amendment atmosphere has grown to the point of damaging society... CNN “Tonight” host Don Lemon said in a radio commentary for Black America Web the P.C. atmosphere has become “dangerous,” and that his 25 years in the media profession has shown him progressives are among the “least tolerant” in America, Mediaite reported. The Death of Free Speech: How Our Broken National Dialogue Has Killed the Truth and Divided America” examines how the news media has created arbitrary, biased and illogical rules for determining what can and cannot be said in the public arena. http://www.wnd.com/2015/06/black-cnn-talker-admits-left-too-p-c/

Israel Hopes to Use Current Lull to Prepare for Radical Islamic Storm
(Yaakov Lappin) ~If you ask defense officials in Israel today for a short-term security forecast, chances are good that you will hear an optimistic outlook and an expectation of relative quiet and stability... Yet a longer-term glance at the next four to five years is less rosy, and suggests the approach of storm clouds, driven by violent, radical Islamic winds. That's why defense chiefs are keen to use the coming years to improve the Israeli military's readiness, build up intelligence and firepower capabilities, and improve civil defenses, while the "sun is still out." http://www.investigativeproject.org/4878/israel-hopes-to-use-current-lull-to-prepare-for

nObama’s Gone Mad, Subpoenas Reason
(Robert Chambers) ~ The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered libertarian website Reason.com to turn over all of the information they have on six commenters who authorities say threatened the federal judge who presided over the “Silk Road” trial... If Reason.org reveals the information demanded to DOJ authorities, it could have a debilitating effect on free expression on the Internet and serve to chill Free Speech of those wishing to comment on current events is they believe their blog posts and comments could open them up to federal prosecution. Lessons to Be Learned

(burtprelutsky.com) ~ Women, blacks, homosexuals and Muslims, are not subjugated in America. They merely pretend to be. Women pretend to be underpaid in what they continue to insist is a patriarchal society, although when they have the same education and work just as hard and as long as men, they are paid the same to do the same job.
.
Blacks pretend to be profiled and picked on by the cops, but statistics show that young black males are far likelier to commit serious crimes, including murder, than any other group. The fact that, in most cases, their victims are other blacks only serves to show how hypocritical the black community is when it takes to the streets to blame their plight on the only people risking their own lives to protect them, the police.
.
Homosexuals, who had not only achieved a special status, civil unions, which provided them with all the rights they claimed to have been denied – hospital visitations, the rights of inheritance and adoption, etc. – decided to undo thousands of years of tradition by demanding same-sex marriages. Worse yet, they keep trying to equate their status with that of blacks condemned by Jim Crow laws to separate and unequal lives. It would be as if I, as a Jew, were denied membership in a country club and insisted I might as well be living in Nazi Germany.

As for American Muslims, when half the world is being over-run by people burning, beheading and crucifying, in the name of Islam, listening to them gripe about the FBI investigating their mosques strikes some of us as self-absorption in the extreme. When you add that to the fact that hundreds, perhaps thousands, of them have been sneaking off to the Middle East in order to murder infidels in the name of Muhammad, and that even after 9/11, a great many of them continued to fund Hamas and Hezbollah through phony charities, occasional profiling strikes me as a rather benign response to a malignancy in our midst.

The more I hear the members of these four groups complain, the more convinced I am that they all suffer from the Munchausen Syndrome, a mental condition in which people feign disease, illness or psychological trauma, in order to garner attention and especially sympathy. When you realize that today all over the Middle East and North Africa thousands of women and girls are being turned into sex slaves and that Christians are being mutilated and murdered, these petty grievances are particularly unseemly. It’s the whine that doesn’t improve with age.

♦ A friend, a movie reviewer, wondered why some talented actors seem so willing to devote their time and energy to over-bloated action movies unworthy of their talent. I responded: “Even if actors and actresses had any taste, which most of them don’t, there are only a handful of movies in any given year that are worth anyone’s attention – assuming they’re not teenage boys. And so long as Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Helen Mirren, Ben Kingsley, and a couple of others have dibs on those scripts, there will be nothing left for anyone else. So they may as well go for the big money and do cinematic shlock, as the very talented Robert Downey, he of the 'Iron Man' and 'Sherlock Holmes' franchises, has chosen to do.

♦ Moving from the sublime to the ridiculous, or the sacred to the profane, depending on how seriously you take your football, I keep wondering why so much was made of the air pressure in the balls Tom Brady was passing in the playoff game between New England and Indianapolis. I am against cheating of all kinds, and was particularly offended that through the use of steroids, the unsavory likes of Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Alex Rodriguez and Mark McGwire, were able to delete Babe Ruth and Roger Maris from the baseball record books.

I think most of us are sick of seeing these mutants on the march, and would cheer an invasion that didn’t simultaneously try to rebuild the nation, a la George W. Bush, but merely had the mission of annihilating the bastards and sending a clear message to the other Islamic cretins in the neighborhood, including Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei, that we mean business.
