As the House Judiciary Committee chairman, scumbag liar-Nadler impressed that under the Equality Act, everyone must fall subject to the LGBT agenda – with churches and religious employers, organizations and colleges being afforded no exemptions whatsoever. “Religion is no excuse for discrimination when it comes to sexual orientation or gender identity,” scumbag liar-Nadler asserted Tuesday in his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, according to Liberty Counsel. Giving testimony against the pro-LGBT bill – also known as HR 5 – was Julia Beck, who is a self-described radical lesbian feminist and the former law and policy co-chair for Baltimore’s LGBTQ Commission. She alerted the Christian community and other faith-based groups about what to expect when or if the proposed legislation passes and becomes enforced. “This would eliminate women and girls as a coherent legal category worthy of civil rights protections,” Beck revealed, according to Liberty Counsel. “There is no way to tell if someone is lying about being transgender.” She said that if gender identity becomes recognized under federal law, Americans can expect to see the following scenarios regularly play out... Over 100 House Democrats Demand Extending Billions Worth of Green Energy Subsidies

More than 100 House Democrats are demanding legislation to extend billions of dollars worth of green tax subsidies to counteract the Trump administration’s energy agenda... and to “prepare” the U.S. for global warming. Democrats called for extending tax subsidies for green technologies—including wind turbines, solar panels, electric cars, energy efficiency, biofuels, and energy storage—in a bid to counteract the policies of the Trump administration.“Simply put, investments in clean energy will help the U.S. reduce carbon pollution, prepare our communities for the damaging effects of rising sea levels, severe weather and catastrophic wildfires, all the while supporting innovation and job creation positioning the U.S. to lead in a global clean energy economy,” Democratic lawmakers, led by New York Rep. Paul Tonko, wrote in a letter to Massachusetts Rep. Richard Neal, chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. One of the letter’s signatories, Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Mike Doyle, introduced legislation Thursday to extend investment tax credits to energy storage systems. Currently, energy storage only qualifies for tax subsidies when paired with a solar project. Revised Complaint Bolsters AMP's Ties

to Old Hamas-Support Network

{ investigativeproject.org } ~ A Yahoo bulletin board created in late 2005 by activists associated with a former Hamas-support network laid the groundwork for creating a replacement virulently anti-Israel group... an amended complaint filed in Chicago federal court on March 29 alleges. The new complaint bolsters several allegations made in a 2017 lawsuit that the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and several of its activists are "alter egos and/or successors" of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) and the American Muslim Society (AMS).Those were two names for one organization that was found liable for an American teen's 1996 death in a terrorist attack. The bulletin board was referred as a "transition" to a new organization, the complaint says. Among its organizers were Hatem Bazian and Magdi Odeh. Odeh had helped coordinate IAP's first annual "Jerusalem Festival for English Speakers" held in Chicago in 1999. Bazian, chairman of AMP's national board, was a featured speaker at several IAP events and shared a close personal relationship with IAP/AMS leader Rafeeq Jaber, listed as a defendant in the case. Jaber is a former IAP/AMS president and AMP's financial adviser. He has spoken at numerous AMP conventions and events. AMP routinely sponsors conferences that serve as a platform for Israel bashers and openly approves of "resistance" against the "Zionist state." Kate Millett and Women’s Lib,” featuring her book Sexual Politics.Considered groundbreaking, Millett quickly became the intellectual force behind radical feminism. Time called her the “high priestess” of the movement and her book, its bible. The New York Times also called her book “the Bible of Women’s Liberation” and “a remarkable document because it analyzes the need and nature of sexual liberation while itself displaying the virtues of intellectual and emotional openness and lovingness.” Time also called her “the Karl Marx of the Women’s Movement” because her book laid out a course in Marxism 101 for women. “Her thesis: The family is a den of slavery with the man as the Bourgeoisie and the woman and children as the Proletariat.” A few months after Millett appeared on Time’s cover, the magazine ran a second article about her, this time less laudatory. The article, entitled “Women’s Lib: A Second Look,” attacked Millett for her bisexuality. The fame and the shame, many people say, destroyed her. Her personality wasn’t strong enough for the glowing limelight, followed by the dark scrutiny. “Kate had a s***load of charm and, in the beginning, a commanding presence,” Phyllis Chesler recalls. “But she also had periods in which she didn’t sleep, raged at others, attempted suicide, and exploited her groupies — all the while feeling victimized by them which she was. Electoral College: Republic vs. Democracy

Political Editors: Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) became the latest public figure to jump on board the Left’s anti-Electoral College bandwagon this week. Gillibrand, a 2020 Democrat presidential candidate, opined, “Our democracy is built on the principle of one person, one vote. It can’t function until we restore that principle. It’s time to abolish the Electoral College.”

It appears that Gillibrand needs to brush up on her U.S. civics knowledge. The fact of the matter is the United States is not nor ever was a democracy; it’s a republic. In truth, Democrat leaders know this, but their instinct is to seek to change the rules when they don’t win rather than change themselves. And they cynically exploit ignorance among their constituents to achieve their ends.

Abolishing the Electoral College would require a constitutional amendment, and in leu of that, 12 blue states have colluded to send their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote rather than the winner of popular vote within their individual states. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPV) is essentially designed as a means to get around the Democrats’ objection to federalism.

Fortunately, there are some folks making efforts to educate Americans to the wisdom and benefits of the Electoral College. “Save Our States” is one such project. Trent England, executive vice president of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) and director of OCPA’s pro-Electoral College, explained, “When we’ve been able to sit down with Republicans (and some Democrats) and explain how the Electoral College really benefits the country and the political system, usually NPV passes (if it passes) with only Democratic support and bipartisan opposition.”

The Daily Wire’s Josh Hammer writes, “England and his OCPA colleagues at Save Our States frequently travel to state legislatures to meet with lawmakers considering NPV proposals. He educates lawmakers — generally Republicans — both about the highly partisan money backing NPV, as well as the Founding-era political theory undergirding the Electoral College.”

The great irony here is that Democrats who love to tout their support for diversity are constantly working to eradicate it if it means a diversity of ideas and viewpoints. ~The Patriot Post
