There’s no way, no way, Democrat Governor Ralph Northam can survive the public scrutiny of his behavior in 1984 as a 25-year-old medical school graduate... This is 1984, not 1964,… 1984. C’mon. Most of us were adults in 1984, and I doubt any of us can even fathom this level of overt racism in 1984. I sure as hell can’t. All current indications are that Northam was actually the one dressed in a KKK outfit while posing for pictures that he eventually selected to go into the school yearbook. The entire episode is a reminder how authentic Democrats are the party of the KKK; and how their racist roots remain inside the party. To make matters worse Northam’s 2017 campaign used accusations of racism against Ed Gillespie; and now Virginians in Charlottesville will have to accept that Northam, not Gillespie was the racist in the race; or deny reality. There’s so many layers to this, it’s impossible to encapsulate. Additionally, the NAACP has now called for him to resign; and the 2020 democrat candidates lowlife-Kamala Harris and Julian Castro are starting to come forward calling for the same...

Colorado Senate Passes National

Popular Vote to Gut Electoral College

{thenewamerican.com} ~ The Colorado State Senate passed a bill this week to place the state in a “compact” of states pushing to elect a U.S. president by a “National Popular Vote”... an effort to circumvent the presidential election method established in the U.S. Constitution known as the Electoral College. The bill now goes to the Colorado House of Representatives for consideration. An actual abolition of the constitutional system of choosing a president by electoral votes would require an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Since this would necessitate a two-thirds vote of each house of Congress, followed by ratification of three-fourths of the states, a direct termination by of the Electoral College by a constitutionally acceptable method is highly unlikely. Because of this, advocates of changing the system created by the Founders have opted to attempt an “end-run” around the Constitution. The National Popular Vote (NPV) organization proposes the creation of a “compact” of states that all agree to cast their electoral votes to the person who receives the most popular votes nationally, even if the voters in their state actually favored another candidate. The compact would not go into effect until enough states agree to these terms to represent a majority of the electoral vote. Several objections can be raised to choosing a president by this method of questionable constitutionality and practicality. First, according to Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution, states are explicitly forbidden from entering into “any agreement or compact with another state” without the consent of Congress, which has not been given...

Trump Sends More Troops to US-Mexico Border

The announcement came amid a morning tweetstorm, but he didn’t specify how many new troops he’s sending.The announcement came after he suggested a House-Senate border security committee trying to strike a deal and avert another government shutdown is “wasting” its time. In his view, Democrats won’t support monies for his proposed border wall. In the latest tweet, Trump repeated his contested contention that the structure already is being built. Democratic lawmakers and immigration experts say otherwise.

CRS: Trump Can Build a

Wall With Emergency or Without

{thenewamerican.com} ~ If Democrats and radical lawfare leftists think they can stop President Trump from building a border wall unilaterally after declaring a national emergency... they might want to think again. The nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (CRS) says the president can build such a wall. Moreover, CRS reported, Trump needn’t declare an emergency to build it. That’s likely what will happen on February 15, when temporary funding to keep the government open runs out, given that leftist House Speaker Nancy Pulosi has said Congress will not appropriate money for a border wall. Trump has said dealing with the intransigent, elderly radical from San Francisco isn’t worth his time. Very simply, CRS reported, the president — Trump or any other one — has the statutory authority to act. The question is whether the move would survive a court challenge, which the Left is likely preparing even now if its subversive legal torpedoes haven’t finished their anti-American dirty work already. Upon declaring a national emergency pursuant to the NEA, the President may invoke the emergency military construction authority set forth in 10 U.S.C. § 2808 (Section 2808) ... which provides that upon the President’s declaration of a national emergency “that requires use of the armed forces,” the Secretary of Defense may “without regard to any other provision of law ... undertake military construction projects ... not otherwise authorized by law that are necessary to support such use of the armed forces.”... With certain limited exceptions, Presidents have generally invoked this authority in connection with construction at military bases in foreign countries. CRS envisioned three legal problems. First and foremost, the Left will dispute whether the insanity at the border provides a “factual basis” to declare the emergency. That’s because the law requires that the president “determine that the relevant construction project (i.e., border fencing) would address a problem qualifying as a national emergency ‘that requires use of the armed forces.’ Moreover, even if the problem ‘requires use of the armed forces,’ the construction project must be ‘necessary to support such use of the armed forces.’”...

Why should Americans not have security, according to Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA)? Because the DHS doesn’t treat illegal aliens right, according to the group. And they want their Democratic colleagues who are negotiating on the border security question to include their demands in the debate and not agree to a deal on the budget until they get what they want. by Thomas Gallatin: Back in the middle of the 20th century, the Democrat Party began to embrace an aggressively secular worldview that expunged the notion of Divine authority over humanity and replaced it with humanism. The fallout from this seismic political and ethical shift has resulted in the two distinct attributes seen in today’s Democrat Party: First, an oversized, always-expanding view of the role and authority of government, and second, the devaluation of Liberty and individual rights. The great irony of secular humanism is that it results in the dehumanization of the individual.

Nowhere is the flawed nature of the Democrats’ secularist, dehumanizing ethic more exposed than in their recent legislative efforts to legalize abortion carte blanche. Last week, Democrat New York Gov. Andrew evil-Cuomo had the One World Trade Center spire lit up in pink to celebrate the state passing its dubiously named Reproductive Health Act, which now allows for legal abortions up until birth as well as removing abortion from the criminal code. evil-Cuomo declared it to be a “historic victory for New Yorkers and our progressive values.” New York now joins seven other states that have no gestational limits on abortion.

On Wednesday, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam revealed just how widespread this moral rot is within the Democrat Party. Seeking to defend his support for the Repeal Act, a bill defeated the day before that would have removed all state restrictions on abortion, Northam argued, “If a mother is in labor … the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physician and mother.”

Northam’s shocking comments brought severe rebukes from several Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio, who stated, “I never thought I would see the day America had government officials who openly support legal infanticide.” Sen. Ben Sasse was more incensed, exclaiming, “This is morally repugnant. … In just a few years pro-abortion zealots went from ‘safe, legal, and rare’ to ‘keep the newborns comfortable while the doctor debates infanticide.’ I don’t care what party you’re from — if you can’t say that its wrong to leave babies to die after birth, get the hell out of public office.”

Now the Democrat-controlled state of Rhode Island is running to the front of the pro-infanticide line, with Democrat Gov. Gina Raimondo pledging to sign legislation that would make abortion legal after viability to “preserve … health.”

From a political-tactics perspective, Democrat-controlled states are engaging in these legislative actions due to their fear that the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade. However, delusional leftists who think they’re living in “The Handmaid’s Tale” are intentionally misrepresenting the impact of such a ruling, which would simply hand legislative authority back to individual states. They’re taking advantage of the population’s misunderstanding to garner votes while at the same time pushing for unlimited abortion.
