I listen to TV or the radio and read newsletter that organizations send out asking for donations and wonder if they have ever actually read the Decoration of Independence, Constitution and all the amendments; I hear commentators talk about freedom of speech as if was the only right we have or it trumps all other rights we have and know they don’t know or care about the 9th Amendment. Read it and you will understand what I am talking about.
In a fund raising letter from the Heritage Foundation dated May 10 2010 said there are at least 35 states have taken steps to challenge the law (Obamacare) in court; I was amazed that with all the PHD’s, they have stopped to think about Article V of the Constitution that defines the procedures to amend it. The Decoration of Independence tells us the Governed can abolish the Government:
“That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government”
Article V of the Constitution tells us how to change or abolish the government”
“The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.”
If the 35 states have taken steps to challenge the law (Obamacare) in court would agree to participate in a Constitutional Convention, only 3 more states would have to be recruited to create a Constitutional Amendment; our founding fathers had more foresight than we have insight.
I don’t want to risk the future of our Democracy on the November elections; you can be sure the Progressives (Democrats) will pull out all the stops to dig up dirt on every Republican candidate and if they can’t find enough, they will make up some to be used by the mainstream media and the mainstream media will demonize the Conservatives (Republicans) and even the Republicans get a simple majority of both houses they won’t have the votes to override a Presidential veto. When the Bush tax cut expire 12/31/1010 and new taxes kick in the people will notice their take home pay is considerably less they will know Obama lied to them. This is a bipartisan issue that should concern all 50 states; if we let Obama continue, the state governments will be irrelevant.
I watched a film of an interview with a FBI agent that had infiltrated the Weather Underground leadership in the 1960’s and what I heard scared me very much; He was telling us that once they had control of the government they would start re-educating the people and those that would not accept the changes would be killed, the estimated that would be about 25,000,000 people. Murdering 25 million people is not politics, it’d genocide; the Governors of all 50 states should meet and agree on an amendment that would suspend the leadership of the Executive and the entire Legislative Branch of government, stop new federal laws and taxes would take effect and call a special session of their legislatures to ratify this Constitutional Amendment and call for a Constitutional Convention to write more Amendments to reinstate the federal government the same way our founders did with changes to prevent a one party take over from happing again. They should also use the opportunity to restore the Constitution to mean what our founders intended it to mean; this can be done by eliminating all Supreme Court decisions that changed the meaning intended by our founders. We should stop the Supreme Court from changing the intent of the Constitution.
