On Election Day in Indiana, my wife Mary, our Conservative Campaign Committee and I did a final sign wave for Cruz.
That evening a friend texted, “Ted Cruz dropped out of the Presidential race tonight.” I replied, “Okay.”
Voters blew it. They allowed the best hope for America to get away. My first thought was to thank Ted and Heidi Cruz. Secondly, I wanted to thank and say something comforting to my fellow patriots who labored long and hard to save our country via Ted Cruz. Sadly, I could not think of anything hopeful or encouraging to say.

In our hotel room, Mary tearfully exchanged texts with family and friends supportive of Cruz. I decided to go for a walk. As I walked around the hotel grounds, an old hymn came to mind.
“Where could I go where could I go Seeking a refuge for my soul Needing a friend to help me in the end Where could I go but to the Lord.”
That is the answer folks. I find refuge, peace and hope in trusting God.
It took a miracle for Cruz to become a US Senator. God did not bring Ted this far to leave him. While I would never presume to know God's plan, I know He is not done with Ted. Ted Cruz is a young man. Let's continue to pray that God strengthens and protects Ted and his family.
Keep the faith brother and sister patriots. As God gives me strength, I will continue fighting to save our country. I pray that you will do the same. God bless, Lloyd

I totally agree, Lloyd. The moment I heard the news I had posted that neither I, nor my local group (35) , will be voting this Nov.
What Trump stands for mirrors the liberal views of the top democrat dogs, Obama and Hillary, to which Trump had donated quite generously to throughout the years; as well as other powerful dems across the country.
The guru Trump's attacks on the entire Cruz family is completely unforgiveable. Add his very slippery deflections on key issues and I had decided that I couldn't in good conscience give my vote to a bile, egotistical man.
I had received the predictable "Staying home is a vote for Hillary" bullcrap. I will post my response here in anticipation.
To the sanctimonious Trumpbots sitting on their high horses. Had the numbers / delegates were in Cruz's favor, 1. He'd still be screeching to high heaven of how "crooked" the system is and how he was "robbed"! And, 2. His mob would have destroyed property across the nation, and perhaps even assaulted Cruz supporters, as well as NOT vote for Cruz! But in "their" eyes they'd've been "patriots". I've also read some anti semitic remarks here on the forum by some 'bots as well. How the far left and the far right have been coming out of the closet! It's very unfortunate, really.
ps: The guru isn't gonna need "my" vote anyway. From what I hear, quite a few Sanders fans intend to go w/ Trump. That, in itself, is quite telling as well!
Take care, Lloyd. I don't think Cruz will give up the struggle to bring America back to its Constitutional foundings. It will be a very long and thankless task. Especially since the seeds of progressivism and populism had been planted many decades ago. America has barely scratched the surface. It's going to get very ugly!
God Bless,
Luis
