While visiting in Denver Colorado this summer I came across a few visitors from Australia. The topic of crime came up and quickly eluded to no way to protect themselves or families. The mere fact that crime in the different cities of which the visitors come from seems to be getting worse. By the time the police get there its usually to late. So there seems to be a strong need to purchase weapons underground and more and more people are willing to take their chances as opposed to the other choice.
On another note a friend of mine told me that in the areas of Alberta Canada people are also having the same problem with crime in the cities and don't know what to do about it. This information comes from my friends brother-in-law who just happens to be from the Canadian Mounted Police out near there. Interesting?

Right on target with your comment, I work with a lot of Lib's at work and their ideology is what you have reflected. I just don't understand people anymore the people that I talk with that have these social ideas have never read a history book or investigated anything. They just pull things out of their head with no bases.

There have always been strong arguments that disarming law abiding citizens will lead to more crime since, only the criminals will have guns. Look at Chicago gun crimes in the last year or so.
Colorado, California, Illinois, New York etc...have made horrible mistakes and their crime numbers reflect that. Well, Colorado won't have reliable estimates yet. that all the major gun crimes in the US going back to Columbine have mostly been committed by liberals or have liberal ties. Maybe this is why the liberals want gun control over people control....it is their folks doin' all the killin'.
Our 2nd amendment rights are being tested. I for one will not live in a community (or country) that disarms it's citizens.
By the way Obama, Feinstein, Bloomberg etc....swore upon a bible to uphold the Constitution....the entire Constitution. The mere fact that they are trying to change it to better suit their interests is breaking that promise and is grounds for treason.
Granted, Obama being Muslim means swearing on a bible is moot.
