Sexual harassment is the new Russia. Everywhere you look, there are stories about sexual harassment. Congress and Hollywood both expect more women to come forward. And in most cases, just like the accusations about Russia, the accuser is the one who is doing the deed. Think about it. Hillary Clinton was the most vocal about the current president doing underhanded deals with Russia. So far, nothing has been revealed about President Trump's dealings with Russia, but a lot has been revealed about Clinton's pay for influence deals with Russia. Clinton and her ilk were also most vocal about women's rights, yet they are now on the defensive about sexual assault--Hypocritical accusers, all.
Strangely enough, the liberals, the ones who speak the loudest against the misogyny and chauvinism of the conservative, are among the most egregious violators of women's rights-the men being accused of sexual harassment by dozens upon dozens of women. And the female protectors of women's rights, such as Nancy Pelosi has accused the women of of purposely victimizing Democratic male officeholders for their alleged sexual assaults and harassments. Hillary Clinton has done the same for decades-just ask the 18 or so women who were victims of her husband's inappropriate sexual exploits, or the victims of Anthony Weiner, Clinton aide Huma Abedin's estranged husband.
Liberals often are the quickest to judge their political opposition for even the slightest accusation. In reality, however, it is often the accuser who is committing worse than the accused. It's really called bearing false witness as well as judging others. Of course, many would give them a pass because they are not practicing Christians or Jews. Notwithstanding, we have seen Hillary Clinton toting a Bible when it is advantageous. Nancy Pelosi has often claimed to be following the Catholic doctrine-yet she promotes abortion and defends men in the Democratic Party accused of sexual harassment. In their eyes Republican candidate Roy Moore, now accused of something that allegedly happened 40 years ago, is guilty.
A lot is written in the Bible about false accusations and judging others hypocritically. Certainly, believers are held to a higher standard, but nonbelievers are not without accountability. In Romans 1, Paul writes about those who profess themselves wise, and change the glory of the "uncorruptible God" into an image made like to corruptible man. Paul lists the characteristics of these people-both male and female-and says they are without excuse. Verse 32 says, "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans 2:3 continues: "And think you this, O man, that judges them which do such things, and does the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God?" Surely these will have their reward.
