Advisors my ass. What in the hell has gone wrong with our leadership, to include some brother bullet stoppers. The idea of leaving a marine in a mexican prison sickens me. When the crossing was in San Ysidro sailors and marines would go back into the city to break their friends out of jail. I don't recall a international incident, I do recall several bloody noses and filthy whites. The guys would go into the pro station and clean up. Some jerk has sent our troops to a place where people carry guns and kill other people. It was called a hostile area. What's with this no combat pay? He might send 300 advisors but he needs to add 600 ammo runners. Since my retirement I have heard about voluntary service. Our troops should fire up the grill. Pat the wife on the rear and have a large picnic. When the circumstances change our troops will know when it is time to go. And God Bless them they will grab a ruck and go.
