I recently released an ebook discussing what made America the greatest country in the world and what it will take to return to its glory days. It is dedicated to the legal immigrant. the first 40 pages are available free so browse them before deciding whether I am full of hot air! If you like it, will you refer your friends to the site. It is priced low so that everybody can afford it and we can start fixing the problems our government has created. Thanks to the tea party, people are paying attention but I am convinced that the majority of the tea party members aren't aware of the concept of baseline budgeting.
There is also a discussion on taxation that was recently started. the link follows:
I would love to have your thoughts on the book and the forum which is towards the bottom of the page.

We talk about taxing the rich but take no account of the cost of getting rich. Let me give you a simple example. It takes 6 years of college for most professional qualifications. The cost of this is lost wages for 6 years and college loans and interest. Using a low average of $24,000 per year in lost wages, the combined total is over $200,000. When the person who has sacrificed 6 years of earning to get a professional qualification starts working for a salary of 60K, what does our government do? It starts to penalize the professional by taxing him at 2X the rate he would have paid if he hadn't gone to college and ignores the interest cost in excess of $2,500 per year. Is this what the fair share concept is! Of course none of this would be an issue if we eliminated all taxes on income and provided incentives for individuals to get a college education.
