Trump Tackles the Regulatory Tidal Wave
zE03X5yS1rt9ZaYh5vZ_fFwyd2_C6HBV2WQj28b1EhQmMo4sM9B7ScG6PLj9uZ7qWdVX0z7M14KJkhZaNJ5HGblf-zGsGMewKojGoQ1f-GMiP3FsnM8d6CIkbitiLg=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=
Business owners have been gifted a much-needed reprieve thanks to Donald Trump's swift action to reduce red tape. The rollback began immediately, on day one, when a regulatory moratorium "effectively halted nearly $200 billion worth of regulations" by one estimate, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon. On Monday, Trump went even further with a Presidential Executive Order on Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs. The order states, "[I]t is important that for every one new regulation issued, at least two prior regulations be identified for elimination, and that the cost of planned regulations be prudently managed and controlled through a budgeting process."
Similar to the Left's rancorous and theatrical uproar over Trump's travel ban, Democrats are hyperventilating once again, slamming the move to reduce regulations as uncanny. But as The Wall Street Journal reports, "[M]any civilized countries use such budgets to manage the regulatory state and stay competitive. Canada requires every rule that creates another hour of paperwork for business compliance to be offset one for one. The United Kingdom and Australia have harder versions that require the costs of new rules to be offset by deregulation of comparable net value."
Just consider how convoluted the system is. The Washington Times says, "The liar-nObama administration issued 3,853 final rules in 2016, the most in 11 years. Another 2,391 proposed rules were in the regulatory pipeline when Mr. Trump was inaugurated on Jan. 20." Moreover, "Federal agencies last year issued 18 rules and regulations for every law approved by Congress." That's absurd. No wonder the economy remains sluggish.
As welcome and refreshing as Trump's attack on regulations is, the best appears yet to come. The Times also notes that Trump "promised to set his sights next on rolling back the massive Dodd-Frank financial regulatory law. 'Dodd-Frank is a disaster,' the president told reporters in the Oval Office after a meeting with small business owners. 'We're going to be doing a big number on Dodd-Frank. The American dream is back.'" In 2008, Barack liar-nObama said "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow." He was referring to "climate change," of course, but there's another ocean that actually is rising at unprecedented levels: the regulatory state. And Trump is ensuring that it truly, not just rhetorically, begins to recede.  ~The Patriot Post

He's Back! liar-nObama's Silence Lasted Just 10 Days
xnvp3D09T4Z3T1b5-YeakriXFX9Nkko09b4rqHoQx-1XYqt9aUUbZ1_09HGGve17gzaAB-qtu-pDlnFjrPoogXEXQeplpIHaUOlobtFCxDPs4skwwFYg1RVkejtnGA=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=
As predicted, that didn't take long. Just a few weeks ago we warned that Barack liar-nObama was laying the groundwork for his post-presidential activism. While out of the Oval Office for just 10 days, he already can't resist expressing his complete and utter displeasure with President Donald Trump's policy decisions. Through his spokesman, Kevin Lewis, liar-nObama let his cohorts know he "is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country."
Lewis continued: "In his final official speech as President, [liar-nObama] spoke about the important role of citizen and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardian of our democracy — not just during an election but every day. Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake." That's funny — he didn't' seem to care about "American values" when those protests were coming from members of the Tea Party.
Lewis concluded, "With regard to comparisons to President liar-nObama's foreign policy decisions, as we've heard before, the President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion." Yet, as we've stated, Trump's travel ban is not unprecedented. According to a 2013 ABC News report, "Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees." This prompted "the State Department [to terminate] processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011 ... even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets." Ironically, Trump's newly enacted travel ban can even be considered somewhat of a bipartisan agreement. It was the previous administration, after all, that crafted the blacklist.
Americans have every right to (peacefully) protest. And liar-nObama, who is now a private citizen, has a right to express his personal views. But less than two weeks ago America observed the peaceful transfer of power, which didn't happen to be the kind of transfer Democrats predicted. In short: Americans voted against what leftists are selling. That should send a message to liar-nObama that he should sit back, be quiet and let things unfold. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. His narcissism won't allow it. That's why we're in for years of more lecturing from the former community activist who is mostly to blame for today's disarray.  ~The Patriot Post

{rickwells.us} ~ Lou Dobbs has “A few thoughts now on Congressional obstruction. The Democrat kind is annoying enough, but I’m talking tonight about two Senators who’ve lost their way, again, and are obnoxiously obstructionist... Senators McCain and Graham attacking President Trump’s executive order pausing refugee admission and immigration from seven mostly Muslim countries.” “Never shy about using hyperbole in their caustic rhetoric,” Dobbs notes, “the two make the spurious claim that the President’s order to protect Americans ‘may do more to help terrorist recruitment than to improve our security.’ The motivation of McCain and Graham to play curmudgeon on seemingly every issue is beyond me, particularly because they gain nothing but mockery of those who disagree with them.” Mr. Dobbs points out, “It puts them in company with head clown Senator Chuck Schumer as well as they work against President Trump and the national interest. McCain has only begrudgingly supported Rex Tillerson to be Secretary of State...  http://rickwells.us/dobbs-mccain-graham-side-head-clown-schumer-obstructing-criticizing-trump/

{rickwells.us} ~ The segment opens with some of the most despicable people in this country spewing into a bullhorn and on camera, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth dinky-Warren, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pulosi, Al Franken and the rest of the usual anti-American misfits... Democrat hypocrites are reveling in the attention and their opportunity to criticize President Trump for doing what is right and best for the America they hate and are preying upon. The most extreme of hypocrites, Elizabeth dinky-Warren, is wearing a Planned Parenthood scarf as she says, “We are here to defend our moral foundation, we are here to live our values, to fight for our values, today and tomorrow and for as long as it takes to restore the basic decency and vision of this country.” She has no moral foundation, no baby murderers do. Restoring basic decency will involve eliminating her and most of her Democrat comrades from the scene, an appealing prospect. It cannot be achieved with them remaining in the mix. She notes that establishment puppets and RINOs, including John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Lamar Alexander, Bob Corker, Marco Rubio and Tim Scott were voicing opposition and saying provocative things, although not bothering to mention that their loyalties lie with some Democrat and corporate establishment sponsors, everyone of them with the possible exception of Scott having demonstrated on multiple occasions the reasons why we need term limits for Congress...  http://rickwells.us/miller-dems-opportunistic-hypocrites-lying-executive-order/

{rickwells.us} ~ Dr. Sebastian Gorka will be joining the Trump administration soon, probably as a member of the National Security Council but before he does he stopped by the Sean Hannity program to discuss the need for extreme vetting... After naming off a list of attacks on American interests by terrorists which Hannity characterized as them being at war with us and us not being similarly at war with them, he asks, “What’s wrong with a little inconvenience to protect the American people?” Gorka replies, “Absolutely nothing, Sean. The President was elected to protect this nation, whether it’s the wall or whether it’s extreme vetting. The average American that represents the backbone of our great nation elected him to be the Commander-in-Chief to do primarily his first duty, to protect them and to win this war. The idea that we allow anybody into this country is an act of political suicide.”...  http://rickwells.us/gorka-americans-approve-trump-travel-ban-31-lying-media-hides-truth/

{freebeacon.com} ~ China flight tested a new variant of a long-range missile with 10 warheads in what defense officials say represents a dramatic shift in Beijing's strategic nuclear posture... The flight test of the DF-5C missile was carried out earlier this month using 10 multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles, or MIRVs. The test of the inert warheads was monitored closely by U.S. intelligence agencies, said two officials familiar with reports of the missile test. The missile was fired from the Taiyuan Space Launch Center in central China and flew to an impact range in the western Chinese desert...  http://freebeacon.com/national-security/china-tests-missile-10-warheads/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=a6ef6a17fc-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_01_30&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-a6ef6a17fc-45611665

{freebeacon.com} ~ A watchdog group is asking congressional ethics officials to investigate Rep. John Lewis (D., Ga.) and his chief of staff over apparent violations of House ethics rules, according to a letter released on Monday... The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust's letter is asking the Office of Congressional Ethics to probe Lewis chief of staff Michael Collins' dual roles in the congressman's Washington office and as the treasurer for his 2016 reelection campaign. Ethics rules bar senior House staff from serving in any fiduciary role for a political organization, and specifically mentioned campaign treasurers as a prohibited position for such staffers. FACT's complaint doesn't just target Collins; it claims that Lewis himself is culpable for ethics violations by his top staffer...  http://freebeacon.com/politics/rep-john-lewis-top-aide-hit-ethics-complaint/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=a6ef6a17fc-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_01_30&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-a6ef6a17fc-45611665

Supporters Unfazed By Big League Ego
by Tom McLaughlin
trump_running_film_grain.jpg
{tommclaughlin.blogspot.com} ~ Trump has a huge ego. But let’s think back and try to come up with a name of someone who has ever run for president during our lifetimes who didn’t. I can’t think of any. Is Trump’s the biggest of them all? Perhaps. Most have been artful at camouflaging theirs, and the biggest difference between President Trump and the rest is that he has never tried to hide it. After Trump was elected, for example, his predecessor declared that if he were allowed to run a third time, he would have won. Uh-oh. Huge ego showing.
fantasygraphic20161227.jpg
Who else but someone who thinks a lot of him/herself would be willing to put their life on hold for two years of rallies, speeches, interviews, plane trips, and strategy meetings? Most candidates declare they’re only running because others urged them, but our BS alarm should go off every time we hear that.
obama-malignant-narcissist1.jpg
Not Trump. He came down a golden escalator at Trump Tower. At the bottom he said, about himself: “Now, our country needs— our country needs a truly great leader, and we need a truly great leader now. We need a leader that wrote ‘The Art of the Deal.’” Talk about uncamouflaged ego. Then he explained what he would do, why he would do it, and how.
Trump.jpg
Mainstream media pummeled him from the start. They continued to pummel him throughout the primaries, predicting he would never win the nomination even after he was winning one primary after another. When he did get the nomination, they said he would never win the general election against liar-Hillary Clinton. But he did, of course.
mainstream%2Bmedia%2Bpanic%2Battack.jpg
Before taking office, he started pressuring companies who were planning to move factories overseas — in exactly the way he said he would in his announcement back in June, 2015. Here’s what he said then: “I would call up the head of Ford, who I know. If I was president, I'd say, ‘Congratulations. I understand that you're building a nice $2.5 billion car factory in Mexico and that you're going to take your cars and sell them to the United States zero tax, just flow them across the border.’ …So I would say, ‘Congratulations. That's the good news. Let me give you the bad news. Every car and every truck and every part manufactured in this plant that comes across the border, we're going to charge you a 35-percent tax, and that tax is going to be paid simultaneously with the transaction,’ and that's it.”
A year and a half later, he did exactly that — before he was even inaugurated.
TrumpTweet2-1.png
Throughout the campaign, he said he would build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it. During his first week as president, he started that ball rolling. The media hammered him. Throughout the campaign, he said he would limit “refugees” from terrorist-exporting countries. During his first week, he did. The media hammered him. Throughout the campaign, he said he would withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. During his first week, he did. There isn’t space to list all of what he’s doing — so much, the media is having trouble keeping up with their criticism of him. Meanwhile, Trump’s favorability rating — the lowest of any new president — is climbing according to realclearpolitics.com. Trump and mainstream media dislike each other, but one side is winning and the other is losing. Media favorability polls are much lower than Trump’s.
Chart02-25.JPG
Leftist bias in mainstream media isn’t new. What’s new is they no longer attempt to disguise it. Sometimes it manifests as fake news, but more often it is evinced by what stories they choose to report and which ones they ignore — which stories they play up on the front page and which ones they report in one paragraph on page 43. Perhaps the best example of the past few years is the Kermit Gosnell story. You’d be forgiven if you’re thinking, “Kermit Who?” because mainstream media gave Gosnell a good leaving alone.

That notorious abortionist is serving a life sentence as the most prolific serial killer in American history, but mainstream media said they didn’t cover him because his was just a local crime story in Philadelphia. Abortion is sacred to the left, and the leftist media won’t publish anything that puts it in a bad light. If you don’t believe it, watch they trumpet Democrat reaction to Trump’s nominee for the US Supreme Court. You’ll hear a lot about “women’s rights” their newest euphemism for abortion.
promises_T5.jpg
Trump’s ego is enormous, yes, rivaled only by those of other presidents and of leading figures in mainstream media. They don’t know it yet, but their power is diminishing — rapidly. They still think they can bring Trump down, but middle American voters who elected him will remain unfazed — they’ll support him as long as he keeps doing what he said he would do.
