.Supreme Court Slaps Down 9th Circuit –
Trump Travel Ban Given Green Light
{rickwells.us} ~ Once again the US Supreme Court has been forced to reiterate that they really meant what they said to the usurping liar-nObama/liar-Clinton panelists of judicial activists on the 9th Circuit Court... On Tuesday the Supreme Court ruled that they meant what they said, that parts of President Trump’s travel ban could remain in effect. They are the parts which provide the protections from terrorism and the national security restrictions, the essence of the executive order. The ruling temporarily prevents 24,000 potential security threats from entering the nation. In a brief order, the court said it was continuing a stay of a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that had tried to force Mr. Trump to limit his refugee ban... https://rickwells.us/supreme-court-trump-travel-ban/ .Donald Trump Puts the Women In
Charge. Feminists Are Sure to Be Angry
by Erick Erickson
{theresurgent.com} ~ Kellyanne Conway is a senior advisor to the President. Sarah Sanders is the press secretary. Mercedes Schlapp is coming into the White House as a communications advisors. Hope Hicks is now in charge of the communications shop in the White House... The President of the United States, who feminists hate so much, has handed his entire communications operation over to women. Talk about female empowerment. This is not an issue of nepotism, but an issue of competence. Yet feminists will still not be happy because the women at the White House do not support killing children. The media will probably ignore this. I would not be surprised. But you shouldn’t. The left bashes President Trump on a daily basis, in part for his supposed treatment of women, but the man has put women in charge of the single most important daily operation in the White House, i.e. communicating his message. Credit where it is due — this is a big, bold move by President Trump. Though he is ultimately his own communications director, that he would put women in these prime positions is impressive... http://theresurgent.com/donald-trump-puts-the-women-in-charge-feminists-are-sure-to-be-angry/ .Single payer: What is it?
by Joseph Antos
{aei.org} ~ Under the rubric of “Medicare for all,” single payer is gaining traction with Democrats as both parties move further toward their respective extremes. But don’t be fooled. Sen. Sanders’ promises don’t come cheap... The Urban Institute’s Health Policy Center says the proposal would increase federal costs by $32 trillion over the next decade. Even Democrats would have a hard time getting support for this unprecedented expansion of federal spending. In spite of the superficial allure of Medicare for all, Democrats are not eager to upend the health system that President liar-nObama created. But Republicans would undoubtedly be happy to see them try... .

White House: DOJ 'should certainly
look at' prosecuting James Comey
by Alex Pappas
{foxnews.com} ~ The Department of Justice should consider prosecuting James Comey for his “improper” actions while serving as FBI director, the White House said Tuesday... Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, argued during the daily press briefing that Comey’s actions as FBI director “were improper and likely could have been illegal.” Asked if President Trump wants the Department of Justice to prosecute Comey, Sanders said that’s “something they should certainly look at.”... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/09/12/white-house-doj-should-certainly-look-at-prosecuting-james-comey.html

ESPN — The Entertainment Sports Political Network?by Mark Alexander: Over the last couple of years, the Entertainment Sports Programing Network (ESPN) has joined the NFL in a precipitous ratings slide, because some arrogant members of both teams have endeavored to inject politics into sports. ESPN has fired more than 100 personnel to offset losses in advertising revenues, and it’s preparing to fire 100 more. In a recent example of ESPN’s politically correct absurdity, it removed a sports announcer named “Robert Lee” because he might offend racial sensitivities in the wake of the Charlottesville riot. Lee is an American of Asian descent.
This week, on the anniversary of the 9/11 Islamist attack on our nation, another ESPN talkinghead, Jemele Hill, a co-host of SportsCenter, went on a social media Trump Derangement Syndrome rampage. According to Jemele:
Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists. The height of white privilege is being able to ignore his white supremacy, because it’s of no threat to you. Well, it’s a threat to me. Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period. He has surrounded himself with white supremacists — no they are not “alt right” — and you want me to believe he isn’t a white supremacist? No the media doesn’t make it a threat. It IS a threat. He has empowered white supremacists (see: Charlottesville). He is unqualified and unfit to be president. He is not a leader. And if he were not white, he never would have been elected. Donald Trump is a bigot. Glad you could live with voting for him. I couldn’t, because I cared about more than just myself. Recall that former ESPN commentator and Hall of Fame pitcher Curt Schilling was fired for sharing a Patriot Post meme on social media. Well, ESPN issued Hill nothing more than a mild reprimand, noting: “The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN. We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.” Sure, right. No wonder another ESPN anchor, Linda Cohn, admitted in April that infusing politics into sports is “definitely a percentage”of ESPN’s problem. A high percentage.
The day before Hill’s outburst, we credited the Cleveland Browns for “seeing the ratings light,” as all team members stood for our national anthem, after some had been taking a knee in a pathetic anti-American protest. If the rest of the league, and its promoters at ESPN, see the same light in time, they may able to salvage their ratings slide — but it may be too little too late ~The Patriot Post
