Rabidly Pro-Abortion Dems Kill 20-Week Abortion Ban
by Political Editors: Even with two-thirds of Americans supporting a ban on abortions after 20 weeks, the Senate fell short of passing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which the House passed earlier this month. The Senate version, which needed 60 votes thanks to a Democrat filibuster, failed 51 to 46. Two Republicans — RINO-Susan Collins of Maine and RINO-Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — joined the majority of Democrats in opposing the legislation, while three Democrats — Joe Manchin (WV), Bob Casey Jr. (PA) and Joe Donnelly (IN) — broke ranks to side with Republicans. We’ll note too that RINO-Collins and RINO-Murkowski are almost solely responsible for defeating Republican efforts at liar-nObamaCare repeal. With “friends” like these… The bill sought to ban late-term abortions based on the scientific data showing that fetuses can feel pain beginning at 20 weeks of gestation. But when it comes to the sanctity of life, Democrats are rabidly pro-abortion, shunning both morality and science. By rejecting this measure the U.S. remains one of only seven nations world-wide that continue to allow the barbaric practice of elective late-term abortions. Other nations include the likes of North Korea, China and Vietnam, while only one European nation is found on the infamous list, the Netherlands.
While Democrats and their cohorts in the Leftmedia love to rant and rave about the supposed problems of social inequality and injustice, they simultaneously viciously guard the greatest form of injustice currently being perpetuated in the nation today — the mass murder of millions of unborn children. While demanding rights and protections for those children brought into this nation illegally, Democrats have no room in their hearts for standing up for lives, rights and protections for the unborn. ~The Patriot Post

FBI says explosive
FISA surveillance memo 'accurate'
by ART MOORE
{ wnd.com } ~ Rep. scum-Adam Schiff, D-Calif., called it a “very sad day” when the House Intelligence Committee voted along party lines Monday... to release the controversial Republican staff memo alleging what some GOP lawmakers are calling abuses “worse than Watergate” of government surveillance programs during the 2016 presidential campaign.” scum-Schiff, the top Democrat on the intel committee, has called the classified four-page report “misleading and inaccurate.” However, two senior FBI officials have now reviewed the document and “could not point to any factual inaccuracies,” reports the Fox News Channel’s Catherine Herridge, citing a source close to the matter... http://www.wnd.com/2018/01/report-fbi-says-explosive-fisa-surveillance-memo-accurate/.
As Trump Was Leaving The SOTU He
Stopped, Turned And Dropped A FISA Bomb
by BENNY JOHNSON
{ dailycaller.com } ~ President Trump will “100 percent” release the controversial FISA memo... according to comments heard directly after the State of the Union. The President was leaving the House Chamber when reporters heard Rep. Jeff Duncan call out to Trump to ask him to release the House Intelligence Committee’s FISA memo. The memo was compiled by Republicans and allegedly reveals the FBI’s mishandling of federal wiretaps in the Obama administration. The House Intelligence Committee voted this week to make the memo public and now the White House must approve the move. Trump stopped and turned to Duncan and said “Oh yeah, don’t worry, 100 percent.”... http://dailycaller.com/2018/01/31/trump-100-percent-releasing-fisa-memo/?utm_medium=email .
Former Trump Aide Being
Bankrupted By Witch Hunt May Sue DOJ
{ rickwells.us } ~ The swamp system is working to destroy its adversaries financially as one avenue of attack... a point that former Trump aide Michael Caputo is experiencing first hand as he is being targeted by Democrats in Congress. Carlson sets the record straight by first asking Caputo, an attorney, if he ever saw any evidence of collusion with Russia in his time advising the Trump campaign. He gives him the same answer he’s given the House committee he testified before, “I saw no Russian collusion, I heard no talk of Russia. No one ever asked me about the years that I lived in Russia the whole time that I was in Trump Tower.” He continues, “This whole things a bogus investigation ginned up because liar-Hillary Clinton needs an excuse for forgetting to go to Michigan and Wisconsin, and my family gets to pay for it, all of the legal fees to testify before Congress, probably four times, saying the same thing four times over to three different bodies because Congress can’t talk to each other.”... https://rickwells.us/trump-aide-bankrupted-sue/.
FBI Confirms Jihadi Training Camps in America
by RYAN MAURO
{ clarionproject.org } ~ Newly-released FBI documents obtained by Clarion Project confirm Clarion’s reports... that Jamaat ul-Fuqra is training members in isolated communes across America and Canada. The group’s “Islamberg” headquarters in upstate New York is its most well-known “Islamic village.” Fuqra, which now goes by the name of the Muslims of the Americas (MOA) among other titles, is a cultish Islamist group with a history of crime and terrorism. The group is led by Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani in Pakistan. Gilani’s name appeared in headlines in 2002 when Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was abducted and beheaded on his way to interview Gilani, though the radical cleric was never accused of an involvement in those crimes... https://clarionproject.org/exclusive-fbi-confirms-jihadi-training-camps-america/ .

A Message for My Evangelical Friends

by Cal Thomas
{ townhall.com } ~ "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." (Romans 13:1)
That verse, written by Paul the Apostle, is one of the most difficult for modern evangelicals to fully accept. It was written at a time when the Roman authorities were bad dudes. They actively discriminated against the early Christians, murdering some, imprisoning others, including Paul, who was among their most ardent persecutors before his conversion.
Modern Christians sometimes suffer from the notion that God is only active when someone they voted for wins an election and that He must have gone on holiday when the candidate they didn't vote for prevails.
My personal history with this attitude goes back to the days of Jimmy Carter, who openly proclaimed himself to be "born again," a phrase taken from the mouth of Jesus which caused many Republican evangelicals to vote for him in 1976 but not in 1980 when he ran against Ronald Reagan, a divorced man who rarely attended church, but whose policies, like President Trump's, were lauded by evangelicals.
I attended church with Carter. He was an excellent Bible teacher and still is from what I hear. The problem for evangelicals occurred when it came to policy. Despite his fealty to Scripture, Carter enforced the "Roe v. Wade" Supreme Court ruling and was OK with same-sex marriage. He said Jesus never spoke against homosexuality, as if the rest of Scripture says nothing about it, or any other "social issue."
Some evangelical friends of mine are dumping on President Trump because of his personal history. Too many others are vigorously defending, even inexplicably excusing, his bad behavior.
Many conservative critics of the president prefer the image of a loving family exhibited by former President Barack liar-nObama. And yet liaqr-nObama's policies were antithetical to what many evangelicals believe. So are liar-Hillary Clinton's, not to mention the "family values" portrait she and husband liar-Bill have shown to the world. Some evangelicals have actually suggested they would have preferred liar-Hillary as president, though Donald Trump is presiding over a roaring economy, naming solid constitutional conservatives to high courts, defeating ISIS, trying to control illegal immigration and putting America and Americans first, all issues with which they agree.
I like to ask Trump's evangelical critics if they ever pray for him, as Paul also instructed believers to do: "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good, and pleases God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3, New Living Translation).
The question could also be asked another way and I have asked it of evangelical friends: "How many of you prayed for President liar-nObama when he was in office?" Not many I have learned, except perhaps in a perfunctory way while we "bless all the missionaries of the world and all those in authority."
It is a familiar analogy, but one that should be stressed again. If I am about to have surgery, I care less about a person's religion, sexual orientation or lifestyle than I do about how many of the surgeon's patients were healed of their afflictions.
It might make some evangelicals feel better to have a president who is one of them while also displaying conservative values, but if one has to choose, I'll take the issues and listen to my pastor, who speaks of a kingdom not of this world, which is far better than a corrupt kingdom that is passing away.
Thus ends today's "sermon." We can now take up the collection.
