{thepoliticalinsider.com} ~ A former CIA Operations Officer and member of the dummycrats-Democrat party admits that his colleagues overplayed their hand in the Kavanaugh abuse story... citing polling that suggests neither side of the political aisle has changed their opinion on the matter. The left needed a scandal so overwhelming that it convinced some Republicans to stop the confirmation of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.Instead, they got a purely partisan effort that hasn’t persuaded either side to shift their opinions. A recent poll demonstrates that 73 percent of dummycrats-Democrats said they believe Ford’s testimony, while 74 percent of Republicans said they believe Kavanaugh. Independents, at a 33 percent clip said they believed Ford, while 32 percent said they believed Kavanaugh. In other words, the earth-shattering shift in opinion never happened. The hearings were a wash... {dailycaller.com} ~ President Donald Trump told reporters that the Senate dummycrats-Democrats demanding answers... for the accusations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh are not “angels.” “I watch those senators on the dummycrats-Democrat side and I thought it was a disgrace,” Trump told reporters gathered at the White House for a press conference on the new trade agreement reached between the U.S., Mexico and Canada. “Partially because I know them. I know them too well. You know what? They are not angels.” Trump expounded on the “angels” allegation later on in the press conference when asked about the timetables for the FBI investigation. “Look at scumbag/liar-Blumenthal. He lied about Vietnam — he didn’t just say ‘Hey, I went to Vietnam.’ For 15 years he said he was a war hero. He fought in Da-Nang province. We call him Da-Nang Richard. … He never went to Vietnam. And he’s up there saying, ‘We need honesty, and we need integrity.’ This guy lied.” scumbag/liar-Blumenthal lied multiple times about serving in Vietnam, saying he “misspoke” about his stolen valor. Trump continued, speaking about scumbag/liar-Blumenthal, “Here’s a guy who lied, and he’s up there talking like he’s holier-than-thou. You know what? Take a look at his record. And when he got out, and when he apologized, he was crying.” Trump was not done yet. The president went after scumbag-Cory Booker and Fein-stein....

To Requests For Investigation Of Ford Allegations

{freedomoutpost.com} ~ Last week, nearly half of the delegation of the Montgomery County House sent a letter to county police and the Maryland State Attorney... to push for an investigation into the baseless claims of Christine Blasey Ford accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more than three decades ago. And they have responded. “We request an investigation be conducted if Christine Blasey Ford or other complainants support such an investigation,” the letter read. “We believe local law enforcement has the authority to investigate allegations of crimes without need for a formal complaint, and we further believe third parties have standing to bring such complaints."Both the Montgomery County Chief of Police and the Maryland State Attorney's Office issued a joint response to the delegates' letter. In that response, it would first require that Ford actually file a criminal complaint, something she has not done. Instead, she chose a political route, indicating that this was a political hit. Furthermore, the delegation was told that the statute of limitations for Ford's accusations had run out, adding just one more reason why the committee should have ignored her accusations....

Americans Pay More in Taxes Than on Food and Clothing
by Political Editors: The national debt continues to balloon in spite of the fact that Americans are paying more on taxes than for food and clothing. As Investor’s Business Daily explains, “According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average American spent an average of $9,562 on food and clothing but a whopping $16,749 on federal, state and local taxes. That excludes housing, which costs the average American about $17,819 a year after paying property taxes.” And “according to the CBO, the federal government over the next decade will spend $56.59 trillion while taking in $44.19 trillion in taxes. That’s a $12 trillion hole in the budget.”
So it’s safe to say our federal government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
On that note, Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) released its annual reportcontaining its recommendations for some 636 cuts that would reduce wasteful spending by $430 billion in the first year and upwards of $3.1 trillion over the next five. For example, CAGW suggests cutting the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, which would trim spending by $1.8 billion over fiver years. The cutting of improper Medicare payments due to fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement would also save another $18.1 billion over the same five year span.
The problem with making those cuts is that every slice of the federal pie has a constituency group. All Americans want to cut government spending — just not spending that benefits them. Cut it for someone else. And then nothing gets cut.
One thing’s for sure, this debt spending problem can only be ignored for so long.
