dinky REID’S RATIONALE FOR HILLY: WOMEN ARE ‘NOT   COMBATIVE’
NYT “[Senate Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid] called Mrs. Clinton, the secretary of state under Mr. nObama, the obvious favorite to win the presidency, for one overwhelming reason: ‘This is the time for a woman to run.’ ‘Women and some men, like me, if they are anything like me,’ he said, ‘they have come to the realization that women have qualities that we’ve been lacking in America for a long time, to be the leader of the country.’ ‘Women are much more patient,’ Mr. dinky Reid said. ‘They can be, if they are pushed the wrong way, combative, but they are not combative. A lot of we men are combative just by nature.’”
[In the same interview, dinky Reid was asked about becoming a lobbyist in retirement from the Senate. “I’d rather go to Singapore and have them beat me with whips.”]  -Fox News

WATCH IT, MARTY: TEAM HILLY SAID TO PUT O’MALLEY ON   NOTICE
Byron York
reports that the Clinton campaign has put long-shot Democratic presidential hopeful Martin O’Malley on notice: “Recently, a representative from the Hilly Clinton camp delivered a message to Martin O’Malley, the former Maryland governor preparing to challenge Clinton for the 2016 Democratic nomination. I have some good news and some bad news, the messenger said…The good news is we’re taking you seriously, the messenger answered. And the bad news is…we’re taking you seriously. The undertone of threat was unmistakable, but anyone who takes on Clintonworld has to expect that…‘They are the most petty, vengeful people out there,’ says one Democrat of the Clinton organization. ‘They hold a grudge for decades. I don't think he [O’Malley] expected them to welcome him with a fruit basket.’”  -Fox News

Partisan divide on email scandal -   Fox News polling maestra Dana Blanton writes: “Voters have mixed views over whether Clinton did something wrong by using a personal email account and server instead of the government’s email system. Nearly half think she broke the law (28 percent) or did something unethical (19 percent). The other half feel Clinton just used bad judgment (32 percent) or didn’t do anything wrong (19 percent). … Overall, only 11 percent of voters think Clinton should be the one to decide which emails should be turned over to the government. Most people say an independent mediator should decide (34 percent) or she should be required to turn over all the emails (51 percent).”
Do they have servers? - Team Clinton is inching closer to launching an official campaign as staffers for the sanctioned super PAC, Ready for Hilly, are ready to move on to campaign positions and all remaining merchandise from the organization is being heavily discounted. -Fox News

 IRAN DEAL GETS WARY RESPONSE
Team nObama’s excitement over a deal to make a deal on Iran’s nuclear program met copious response from allies and critics alike. As the president now embarks on a hard sell to lawmakers and anxious allies, members of his own party expressed wariness of a bargain the Washington Post says falls “Far Short” of nObama’s own goals. Guarded support came from key Senate Democrats like Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid and Maryland’s Ben Cardin, top Democrat on a Senate panel pushing for Congressional approval of an agreement on Iran nukes. Presumptive Democratic nominee Hilly Clinton wrapped her praise of the deal as “an important step” in a politically protective “devil is always in the details” blanket. Most Republicans weren’t as circumspect, blasting the framework agreement and renewing demands for Congress to have its say.  -Fox News

AND NOW, A WORLD FROM CHARLES…
“Iran is promised a total lifting of sanctions. That’s UN, EU, United States, everywhere…they get their economy back and that’s all they really wanted, but the second, the most astonishing thing is that in return they are not closing a single nuclear facility. Their entire nuclear infrastructure is intact.” —Charles Krauthammer on “Special Report with Bret Baier” Watch here -Fox News

A Saudi-led coalition of Sunni governments began pounding Yemen late last month to combat a takeover of the country by Shiite Houthi rebels.

 Backgrounder: Arab Intervention in Yemen
(Gary C. Gambill) - While the rapidly escalating regional military conflict in Yemen has taken many outsiders by surprise, the Middle East Forum has been closely following the deteriorating situation in the southern Arabian peninsula for years...For an informed introduction to the issue, we recommend the following selection of articles by Middle East Forum staff and fellows, and by specialists who have written for our flagship publication, Middle East Quarterly (MEQ).       http://www.meforum.org/5145/backgrounder-intervention-yemen

nObama Playing A Very Dangerous Game With Iran
(rickwells.us) - Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, isn’t buying the package that nObama has put together with his Iranian comrades no matter what kind of ribbon is being wrapped around it...He has some serious concerns and says that the deal must be presented to Congress but there have been many instances over the years in which Congress and the normal constitutional path have been circumvented. Congress alone has the power to declare war under our Constitution, for example, but that role has not been exercised since World War 2 and we’ve been in plenty of armed conflicts since that time, some under the replacement authority of the United Nations. nObama has similarly threatened to seek UN approval in this deal as a substitute for a Congressional endorsement. He says that nObama cannot just unilaterally declare the sanctions to be null and void, but he already committed much more egregious assaults upon our Constitution by declaring laws legitimately passed by Congress to be invalid. Congress meekly went along with it and the limits to his willingness to impose his will on the people are still an unanswered open question. Those limits may not exist.       http://www.rickwells.us/rep-lee-zeldin-obama-playing-a-very-dangerous-game-with-iran-not-playing-on-the-same-side-as-congress/

Hilly: Insider Dick Morris Believes She’s Dodged Her Last Bullet
(rickwells.us) - Hilly Clinton blames her current problems as the honest result of her well-intentioned but simple-minded opting for convenience with those new-fangled cell phones being so hard for the elderly to figure out and use...Convenience, she claims was also the motivating factor behind her decision to use her own personal email account rather than a federal, State Department one. Judge Jeanine doesn’t accept the former Secretary of State’s assertions. She mockingly says, “I get it Hillary, putting convenience first,” and then points out that Clinton also carried an iPad at the time, a much larger device than the “convenient” Blackberry. Another weak excuse bites the dust. Pirro points out the experience that Clinton with Federal Prosecutors such as Trey Gowdy, noting that she has frequently been the subject of their investigations. She offers her a primer anyway, instructing Clinton that “you do not destroy evidence, you do not conceal evidence and you do not lie.” Clinton might ask why, in view of the success she’s enjoyed doing exactly those things in the past.       http://www.rickwells.us/hillary-clinton-is-going-down-former-clinton-insider-dick-morris-believes-shes-dodged-her-last-bullet/

The Deal Struck with Iran Was Not the Deal Announced by President
(Lev Tsitrin) - NPR aired a fascinating segment Saturday morning. "Iranian and American officials are busy selling the deal back home, but it does seem as if they're talking about two different agreements."... "The American description of termination of sanctions, as portrayed in the State Department's fact sheet on the deal, asserts that no U.N. sanctions can be lifted until Iran completes a hefty list of tasks, including scaling back its enrichment of nuclear fuel, converting a heavy water reactor and an underground enrichment facility, so that no nuclear fuel can be produced and answering long-standing questions about its past nuclear activity." Yet Iran "stated that all sanctions relief – U.N., EU and U.S. – would be immediate. It was unequivocal. It stated that Iran under the deal was free to pursue industrial scale enrichment to fuel its own reactors – unequivocal. It stated that Iran was unhindered in its ability to conduct centrifuge R&D." What to do?  Admitting that negotiations to reach the general "framework agreement" failed would render meaningless the June 30 deadline for reaching the detailed agreement.  Without the "framework agreement" there is nothing to negotiate.  How to save the June 30 deadline without having a March 31 deal -- and without losing face? Easy: agree that a framework agreement was agreed on – but do not sign it, and thus simply do not "agree on what they agreed on"!     http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2015/04/npr_the_deal_struck_with_iran_was_not_the_deal_announced_by_president_.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

 SJP’s Wall of Lies
(JewHatredOnCampus.org) - The land on which Israel was created belonged to the Turks (who are not Arabs) for 400 years before it was forfeited to the victors (England and France) in World War I... “Palestine” is a Roman word that refers to a geographical region not a country or an ethnicity. Ninety-percent of the “Palestine Mandate” was ceded to the Arabs, Ten Percent to the Jews. The land of Israel was historically Jewish. The map shown depicts a shrinking Palestine, but in 1947 no such country existed, and no such self-described people inhabited it. The Arabs wanted one Arab union across the Middle East since there are no language, cultural, religious or ethnic differences between Arabs. The “nations” around the Jordan River were all created by European colonial powers out of the Turkish Empire. The Jews did not “steal” the land because an indigenous population cannot steal its own land, and they like all the other inhabitants were previously subjects of the Turkish Empire. The Jews bought the land and when they were killed and oppressed, they fought for it.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/jewhatredoncampus-org/sjps-wall-of-lies/

ISIS has shown an impressive ability to find opinions justifying its actions from bona fide (if largely medieval) Islamic jurists and theologians.

 Is ISIS Islamic?
(Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi and Amarnath Amarasingam) - "Do they think we are Jewish now? lol," responded one ISIS fighter in Syria when asked for his thoughts on the current public debate about whether the Islamic State is actually Islamic...He went on to make an argument, as many of these fighters often do when interviewed, that not only is the Islamic State Islamic but it is the purest and most pristine form of Islam, the kind most in line with what God and His Prophet had intended all along. Another ISIS fighter from South Africa, when asked how he knew that the Islamic State was legitimate, remarked that "I just used my brain." "The truth is never endorsed by the masses," he said. "It's always the smallest groups that are firm in truth. Migration becomes compulsory when a caliphate is established on the foundations of Sharia Law, and Muslims around the world have no valid excuse to remain amongst the infidels in enemy lands."       http://www.meforum.org/5160/is-isis-Islamic

Nuke Deal Done: Did Iran Get the Best of Us?
(fixthisnation.com) - Ten years ago, it would have seemed unthinkable that we would entertain the notion of signing a nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran. But after the election of Barack nObama, America’s foreign policy went from one of recognizing and punishing rogue states to one of naive diplomacy and endless apologies...That policy has led us to this point, where we have agreed to lift economic sanctions against Iran in exchange for some promises. nObama is hailing this as a landmark victory for national and international security, but is it? Or did Iran, as they are claiming, get everything they wanted? The deal is not quite signed, sealed, and delivered. That won’t happen until June, after all involved parties have had a chance to let their countries get a look at the details. From what we know, however, we can make some assumptions about the final contours of the agreement. According to a fact sheet from the State Department and inside sources, we know that Iran gets to pursue nuclear power with the full support and recognition of the international community. It should be noted that this is exactly the opposite of what nObama intended at the outset of the talks, so we can go ahead and chalk that up as an administration failure.       http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/nuke-deal-done-did-iran-get-the-best-of-us/

It’s ‘Victory over America Day’ in Iran
(Thomas Donnelly) - What would the Shah do? “The Shah,” as in Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, the last crown prince of the Imperial State of Iran and occupant of the Peacock Throne, the ruler overthrown by the Iranian Revolution of 1979, but also a man possessed — as the mullahs who replaced him are — by dreams of Persian greatness...That is to ask, is there an enduring strategic logic behind Iran accepting a deal that temporarily “blocks every pathway” to a nuclear weapon,” as President nObama declared? To answer such a question, it is necessary to speculate on the reasons why Iran has pursued nukes for so long. The reason now advanced by the Iranians is that it was a matter of national pride. “It’s our moon shot,” Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told a US official at one point — the point at which, apparently, the administration gave up on its original goal of dismantling the program. And that’s no doubt part of the matter, but there is also a greater geopolitical reason that better explains why Tehran might be willing to at least slow its drive for the nuclear capabilities they have paid so much to acquire, not only in investment but in sanctions-inflicted pain. Don’t stand in the way of an enemy who’s retreating.       http://www.aei.org/publication/its-victory-over-america-day-in-iran/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

Liberals Don’t Believe ‘Death to America’ Means Death to America
(Warner Todd Huston) - A sensible person would believe someone who says to their face that they hate them. Liberals aren’t sensible. Especially in the case of an Iran whose people shout “death to America” on a weekly basis. Insensibly, liberals refuse to believe in the words Iranians constantly fling at us all...Examples abound, especially this week as Barack Hussein nObama continues to work on Iran’s behalf in talks over the Persian nation’s nuclear ambitions. In an act impossible to explain logically, both the news media and the nObama administration (but I repeat myself) have said multiple times that they don’t believe Iranians who chant “death to America.” Liberals believe that the continuing rallies filled with Iranians chanting “death to America” and the numerous examples of Iranian officials saying the same don’t mean what they say.       http://wizbangblog.com/2015/04/04/miscreant-liberals-dont-believe-death-to-america-means-death-to-america/

The Green-Card Racket for Beltway Cronies

(freedomsback.com) - Can we stop putting America up for sale to the most politically connected bidders yet? Where is our self-respect?

Since 2001, I’ve warned about the systemic and bipartisan corruption of America’s EB-5 immigrant investor visa program. The latest report from the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general — which outlines the meddling and pandering of No. 2 DHS official Alejandro Mayorkas, Nevada Sen. dinky Harry Reid, Democratic bagman Terry McAuliffe, Hilly Clinton’s brother Tony Rodham, former Pennsylvania. Gov. Ed Rendell and former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, to name a few — provides yet more sordid evidence that the green cards-for-sale scheme should be completely scrapped.

Created under an obscure section of the expansionist 1990 Immigration Act, EB-5 promised bountiful economic development for the U.S. in exchange for granting permanent residency (and eventual American citizenship) to foreign investors. A few years later, Congress conjured up the idea of EB-5 “regional centers” — government-sanctioned business groups and corporate entities acting as middlemen to administer the immigrant investments and facilitate the visa peddling.

Beltway cronyism was embedded in EB-5’s DNA from the get-go. The original Democratic House sponsor and his spokesman went on to establish for-profit companies that marketed the program and provided consulting services. Former federal immigration officials from the George H.W. Bush administration formed lucrative limited partnerships to cash in on their access and EB-5 expertise. An entire side industry of economic book-cookers arose to supply analyses of the “job creation” benefits of EB-5 projects and to gerrymander Census employment data to fit the program’s definition of “targeted employment areas” in order to qualify for lower investment thresholds (as was done in New York City’s Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park EB-5 deal).

Think Solyndra and federal stimulus math on steroids.

Since the program’s inception, rank-and-file adjudicators have tried to enforce the investment standards. But senior managers leaned on them to reverse EB-5 rejections when wealthy donors, law firm pals and political hacks complained.

Fast-forward to 2015. The blood pressure-spiking DHS IG report released last week confirmed what whistleblowers have been telling Capitol Hill for years.

Behind the scenes, the IG found, Dirty dinky Harry Reid pressured Deputy DHS Secretary Mayorkas to overturn his agency’s rejection of expedited EB-5 visa applications for Chinese investors in a Las Vegas casino hotel, which just happened to be represented by dinky Reid’s lawyer son Rory. Adjudicators balked at the preferential treatment. Mayorkas steamrolled the dissenters, who reported on shouting matches over the cases. dinky Reid’s staffers received special briefings from Mayorkas to update them on the project’s progress.

One underling called it “a whole new phase of yuck.”

Meanwhile, in the words of one DHS official at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement bureau, Mayorkas “absolutely gave special treatment” to electric car racket GreenTech, which zealously sought EB-5 visas for another group of deep-pocketed Chinese investors. McAuliffe helmed the company after it was spun off from a Chinese venture. He plugged in Rodham as president of Gulf Coast Funds Management, which won designation as an EB-5 regional center certified to invest foreign capital in federally approved commercial ventures in Louisiana and Mississippi, including GreenTech. Louisiana GOP Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Mississippi GOP Gov. Haley Barbour both signed letters urging DHS to approve Gulf Coast as a regional center.

After adjudicators dismissed the company’s job claims as “ridiculous,” “flawed” and “not approvable,” McAuliffe personally leaned on then-DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, “complaining about the denial of the Gulf Coast amendment and requesting her assistance to get the amendment approved and to expedite more than 200 investor petitions.”

In violation of recordkeeping and disclosure rules, Mayorkas met with McAuliffe in February 2011 after USCIS denied GreenTech’s requests. Mayorkas mysteriously took no notes and could not recall just exactly how many phone calls he took from McAuliffe and what exactly they discussed (though he did remember the “caustic” Democrat yelling “expletives at high volume.” Mayorkas met personally with senior staff to urge the agency to reverse its denials and give McAuliffe and company what they wanted and even offered to write the reversals himself.

On a third front, Mayorkas intervened on behalf of EB-5 petitioners seeking green cards by investing in Hollywood studios such as Sony Pictures and Time Warner. He had received pressure from the L.A. mayor’s office, where an aide helpfully mentioned she knew a mutual acquaintance of his from his old law firm, O’Melveny and Myers, and from Rendell, a paid consultant to the EB-5 regional center representing the foreign investors. Mayorkas reversed his staff’s rejections of more than 200 suspect EB-5 applications and set up a special “deference review board” to bow to Hollywood.

Two decades ago, when the program’s failures were first exposed, Rep. John W. Bryant, a Texas Democrat, protested on the House floor: “This provision is an unbelievable departure from our tradition of cherishing our most precious birthright as Americans.”

How much more evidence do you need that this foreign investor pay-for-play swindle makes an irremediable mockery of the American Dream? The only effective way to “reform” this abomination is to kill it.
