Huma Abedin, the beautiful, sophisticated woman who is married to ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner, simply does not deserve the heartbreak and humiliation heaped upon her by as a result of the errant behavior of her perverted spouse.

Thank goodness Huma did not “stand by her man” as Weiner announced his resignation. This was to be Weiner’s day of judgment, at least two weeks late, and he deserved to stand alone in his moment of ultimate shame and defeat.

The U.S. House is better without Weiner and he deserves no pity or sympathy from anyone.

Huma Abedin, however, deserves all the support and help she can get, including prayer and sympathy.

May her God bless and keep her get through this tragic betrayal. And may the same blessings apply to the unborn baby that Huma carries in her womb.

  • I don't know what to think about her, except to say she certainly has lousy taste in men!
For me, the first thing to come to mind is "Birds of a feather...."
I really don't have much sympathy for her (or Maria Schriver).
If you marry for the wrong reasons, this is what you get.

Now, the children involved? That's another story.
  • I accept your apology
  • I did not say you directly I said I fear the public will make a martyr out of her because I fear it will become the PC thing to talk only nice about Huma like it was the PC thing to talk only nice about Obama in 2008.  If you step out of line and say the truth about Huma you will be called an Islamaphobe like you were called a racist for saying bad but true things about Obama.
  • All I am saying is that I feel human sympathy for Huma and the unborn child. No desire to make a martyr of anyone
  • I concur completely with your observations regarding Huma Abedin. I wonder what her attraction was for Mr. Weiner. I guess she didn't look to closely into his background, unless he was so clever that he was able to conceal his double life. That Weiner was doing this while his wife is pregnant is additionally so classless.

  • All I am saying I fear the public making a martyr out of Huma and thus putting her or approving of her in public office and using the baby as a political heart tug tool which would be shameful but for that family anything goes.
  • Sorry if you are offended, Angelo!

No mush, gaga or weepy-like Boehner intended.

She is a Muslim, yes. However, she is also a woman who has been humiliated by an arrogant pervert.

She does not deserve the humiliation heaped on her by her idiotic husband.

I repeat: May her God bless and keep her get through this tragic betrayal. And may the same blessings apply to the unborn baby that Huma carries in her womb.

  • Before you start getting all mushy, gaga, and Boehner like emotional for Huma remember she is a Muslim with a family tie to the Muslim Brotherhood ask Leah Lax.  Huma may run for Tony Balonie's seat or be the next Secretary of State her and Hillary are close.  Before the Weiner Kodak moments he was extremely arrogant and talked to women (For example 8 month pregnant Megyn Kelly) like dirt.  This behavior should not totally shock Huma. Sincerely, Angelo Mule'
