What a bunch of lies they tell.
How can a nation using a pure fiat currency go broke?
They can't
They can destroy the value of the currency with inflation [ and they have done that now]
The problem here is so simple
People seem to want to compare their own financial situation with that of the government and it does not work because of the differences between government that creates the fiat currency and we the people who are forced to use it by law.
To understand this you must first understand that taxes do not pay for the governments bills !
They barrow the money into existence to pay their bills !
So what are taxes for?
To control the volume of money in circulation to control inflation!
Simple minds never stop to examine how this works and the politicians even fall prey to this concept!
