Wars Against Constitutions

On November 29, 2009, then Honduran president, Manuel Zelaya, was voted OUT of office. Losing to the conservative leaning Porfirio Lobos by a 17% landslide victory.  

Zelaya, who represented the nation's Liberal Party, which is associated w/ the far leftist Liberal IInternational [1], initially refused leave office. Backed by their Constitution, and the,nation's Supreme Court, the Honduran military had formed a coup. Successfully removing Manuel Zelaya who lives in exile today. .  

"In a separate cable from May 2008 released on the WikiLeaks website, a U.S. official said Chavez ally and then-President of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, had links to organized crime. Zelaya was ousted in a military-backed coup in 2009.

"There ... exists a sinister Zelaya, surrounded by a few close advisors with ties to both Venezuela and Cuba and organized crime," the outgoing U.S. ambassador said in a cable to his successor before Zelaya was pushed out of office.

The cable also described the Central American leader as a "rebellious teenager" who never graduated from high school." [2]

WHAT WAS THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S RESPONSE

"An agreement signed in Colombia this week allowing the ousted former Honduran president, Manuel Zelaya, to return home and resume political activity without fear of prosecution marks “a great day” for the Honduran people, according to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Hugo Chavez’s handprints are all over this deal,” Ros-Lehtinen said in a statement. “He can’t wait to have Zelaya back in Honduras so he can begin pulling the strings again and undermine that nation’s democracy.

Clinton, by contrast, said on Monday that the U.S. “commends” the Chavez regime for its role in securing the agreement." [3]

President Obama had called the coup that ousted Manuel Zelaya as president of Honduras “not legal” and joined with the voices of leaders across the Americas in demanding that democracy be respected. “It would be a terrible precedent if we start moving backwards into the era in which we are seeing military coups as a means of political transition, rather than democratic elections,” Mr. Obama said...  [4]

Wait a sec!  The Honduran people had their LEGAL election; where they elected Lobos in a 17% landslide, remember?

NOW the Obama admn is siding w/ the Turkish President Erdoğan - whp has been slowly but steadily moving Turkey away from its secular Constitution and towards a Shariah Islamic theocracy.  Can you SEE the pattern of behavior going on here?  If you don't, you're either on board; or your simply a MORON!
