Former scumbag/liar-nObama Advisor
Ben Rhodes: We Didn’t Know Anything
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Former Deputy National Security Advisor to President scumbag/liar-nObama, Ben Rhodes, says any investigation of prior administration... “will find nothing” that shows former President scumbag/liar-nObama or White House staff had any “involvement” in the origins of the surveillance of Trump campaign and Russia collusion investigation.Prior to March 9th, 2016, the scumbag/liar-nObama-era political surveillance and spy operations consisted of using the FBI and NSA database to track/monitor their opposition. However, once the NSA compliance officer began initiating an internal review of who was accessing the system, the CIA and FBI moved to create ex post facto justification for their endeavors. Everything after March 9, 2016, became a cover-story. Looking at White House engagement in the last half of 2016, The War Economy has done some excellent research on this period to contrast the reference of Ben Rhodes: […] On July 31, 2016, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, ran by Director scumbag-James Comey, opened an investigation into the Trump campaign titled “Crossfire Hurricane”, named after the Rolling Stones documentary of the same name. It focused on the actions of four members of the Trump campaign... Rhodes knew what was going on, he is lying and covering up..
Wealthy Elitists Freak Out As Hordes Of
Homeless People Take Over
Their Neighborhoods
by Michael SnyderI
{ freedomoutpost.com } ~ The elite are very “tolerant” of the homeless until they start showing up in their own neighborhoods... Even though the mainstream media keeps telling us that the U.S. economy is “booming”, the number of Americans living on the streets continues to grow very rapidly, and this is particularly true in our major west coast cities. More than half a million Americans will sleep on the streets of our cities tonight, and they need help, care and shelter. Sadly, as economic conditions deteriorate that number is likely to double or even triple. Of course, many among the elite are all in favor of doing something for the homeless, as long as they don’t have to be anywhere around them. For example, let’s talk about what is going on in Los Angeles. No city on the west coast has a bigger problem with homelessness than L.A. does, and many in the homeless population enjoy camping out on the beautiful beaches in the L.A. area at night. But of course, many of the elite that paid millions of dollars for beachfront property are not too thrilled about this. Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten was a key symbol of anti-establishment rebellion in the 1970s, but now he is freaking out because homeless people are making life very difficult for him and his wife in Venice Beach, and what he recently told Newsweek’s Paula Froelich is making headlines all over the nation…He told her the homeless situation in his swanky LA neighborhood is so bad that thieves are tearing the bars from the windows of his multimillion-dollar home, lobbing bricks, setting up unsightly tent cities and littering the beach with syringes. “A couple of weeks ago I had a problem,” the former punk prince opined. “They came over the gate and put their tent inside, right in front of the front door. It’s like . . . the audacity. And if you complain, what are you? Oh, one of the establishment elite? No, I’m a bloke that’s worked hard for his money and I expect to be able to use my own front door.”...What is the governor of Calif going to do about homeless. He needs to act now..
What if the New York Times Cartoon had
depicted a Muslim, a Lesbian, an African
American or a Mexican as a Dog?
{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ Imagine if the New York Times cartoon that depicted Israel's Prime Minister as a dog had, instead, depicted the leader of another ethnic or gender group in a similar manner?... If you think that is hard to imagine, you are absolutely right. It would be inconceivable for a Times editor to have allowed the portrayal of a Muslim leader as a dog; or the leader of any other ethnic or gender group in so dehumanizing a manner. What is it, then, about Jews that allowed such a degrading cartoon about one of their leaders? One would think that in light of the history of the Holocaust, which is being commemorated this week, the last group that a mainstream newspaper would demonize by employing a caricature right out of the Nazi playbook, would be the Jews. But no. Only three-quarters of a century after Der Stürmer incentivized the mass murder of Jews by dehumanizing them, we see a revival of such bigoted caricatures. The New York Times should be especially sensitive to this issue, because they were on the wrong side of history when it came to reporting the Holocaust. They deliberately buried the story because their Jewish owners wanted to distance themselves from Jewish concerns. They were also on the wrong side of history when it came to the establishment of the nation-state of the Jewish people, following the Holocaust. When it comes to Jews and Israel, the New York Times is still on the wrong side of history. I am a strong believer in freedom of speech and the New York Times has a right to continue its biased reporting and editorializing. But despite my support for freedom of speech, I am attending a protest in front of the New York Times this afternoon to express my freedom of speech against how the New York Times has chosen to exercise its... https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/14165/what-if-the-new-york-times-cartoon-had-depicted .
scumbag/commie-Brennan blasts
Trump's 'sociopathic ramblings,' denies
participating in a 'coup'
{ foxnews.com } ~ Former CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan pushed back Friday on President Trump's charge that he knew about or participated in an attempt to overthrow the American government... "I don't think it's surprising at all that we continue to hear the sociopathic ramblings of Mr. Trump claiming that there was this effort to try to prevent him from being elected or to unseat him," he told MSNBC's Hallie Jackson. scumbag/commie-Brennan was reacting to comments Trump made during an interview with Sean Hannity on Thursday night. Trump specifically criticized scumbag/commie-Brennan, along with former Director of National Intelligence scumbag-James Clapper, former FBI Director scumbag-James Comey, and former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, in the fiery interview. His comments followed the release of Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller's report which stopped short of accusing the president of either obstruction of justice or collusion with Russia. scumbag/commie-Brennan added he welcomed further investigation into his and other officials' conduct while they served in government. "I've testified in front of Congress ... Absolutely, I'll do it again," he said. scumbag/commie-Brennan also disputed Sen. Rand Paul's, R-Ky., claim that he "insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report."....
Rod Rosenstein resigning
from Justice Department post
{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, beset from all sides with criticism over his role in the probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential race, is resigning... Rosentstein submitted his resignation letter to President Trump on Monday, effective May 11, The Wall Street Journal reported. Rosenstein's designated successor, Jeffrey Rosen, a favorite of Attorney General William Barr, is awaiting a likely confirmation by the Senate. Rosenstein, 54, a former U.S. attorney in Maryland, played an unusually prominent role for the Justice Department second-in-command. He took over the probe when then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself due to his role in Trump's successful 2016 White House bid. Trump critics have throughout the administration had mixed feelings about Rosenstein's performance. He drew skepticism for writing the legal justification for firing FBI Director scumbag-James Comey, in May 2017. But in the ensuring months he also pushed back against efforts by the president to fire Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller, whom Rosenstein brought on to probe Russia-related allegations once scumbag-Comey was out the door. The dirty cop-Mueller report, issued earlier this month, cited several examples of Trump considering firing the independent prosecutor. Rosenstein, though, drew criticism from Democrats for handing over some documents to congressional Republicans, particularly when the GOP held the House majority... https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/rod-rosenstein-resigning-from-justice-department-post?utm_source=breaking_push&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=push_notifications&utm_source=WEX_Breaking%20News%20Alert_04/29/2019&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WEX_Breaking%20News&rid=5261 .

Second Coming

Tom McLaughlin

Sligo last month
I don’t know where or when I heard it initially, but the line that struck me first was:
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Sligo last month
Do the best lack conviction? Maybe, or perhaps they have tried long to reason with the passionately and intensely ignorant with little result. Maybe they’ve given up trying to persuade and are saving their energy for when, as Yeats puts it:
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world.

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: a waste of desert sand;
A shape with Lion body and the head of a man…
…And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
