Sir I spend my first 40 years in Illinois and my last 11 in Florida. I was a more qualified Illinoian to run for Senator from Illinois in 2004 (4 years removed) than Keyes was. He saw that Obama might be vulnerable and tried to carpetbag the election like Bobby Kennedy did in the 1966 Senate race in New York. Keyes thought he would be considered the good black. The voters of Illinois saw that he was not a real Illinoian and beat him so bad and this beating upped Obama's status. Granted, I would have voted for Keyes but it does not excuse the fact that he lost by more than another candidate would have.
It is natural thing that Alan Keyes had been defeated and would be defeated in the future simply because of his principles and what he stands for. Alan Keyes is more of a statesman than a politican and those types are out of favor in the crazy, corrupt and confused world we now live in. Alan Keyes stands apart and above because of his solid principles which I believe he carries over into his personal life. He has not a pray of being elected but we need to hear his voice for the good of our country and our families.
Herman Cain, Congressman Ret. Col. Alan West, Congressman Tim Scott, and the Project 21 leaders are the cream of the Republican Afro-American community. They are winners and motivating forces. Alan Keyes is a hasbeen who was beaten badly by Obama in the 2004 Iliinois Senate race. Thanks for nothing Alan, your horrible showing was a springboard to Barry on his way to the White House. Sincerely, Angelo Mule'
