Why are Liberals Afraid of the Truth?

What happens when you try to explain the truth about the Left to a Liberal? If they don’t cuss you out and flee to the nearest “safe space”, how will they respond? I’m going to tell you. They will dismissively say, “Where did you read that? Well, I don’t know about that.” Do they ever try to find out about that? Of course not. Why? Because they don’t want to know the truth!!
Mr. Patriot and I were discussing this very subject this morning and he made the best point ever. He said that Liberals shun the truth about the swamp creatures of the Left because they are afraid to know the truth. Much like atheists denying God’s existence.

Of course! It hit me like a ton of bricks. We’ve all encountered the atheists who are angry about our belief in God. The very fact that we believe, causes them to become instantaneously combative. They must mock us and make their point that we are uneducated or less than them because we do believe in God.
I don’t know about you, but when I encounter someone who fervently believes in the Easter Bunny or magical unicorns, I simply think, “Oh, the poor soul!” I don’t get angry or feel the need to argue with them. Why? Because I know those things do not really exist. Who cares if they believe in talking flamingos or the gnome family that lives under their bed? It does not affect my life at all.

It’s my belief that atheists show so much emotion over a Christian’s belief in God simply because they have some fear that He is real.
Back to Mr. Patriot’s great observation today, I agree that it also proves true that Liberals, Progressives, Lefties or whatever you want to label them, really do not want to delve into Hillary and Bill’s past. They don’t want to know about Obama, Michelle and Valerie. They don’t want to know what happened to Seth Rich or why our men died needlessly in Benghazi. They won’t ask questions about John Podesta, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Harry Reid or anyone in their party because as Jack Nicholson’s character so famously said, They “can’t handle the truth!!”
How can anyone not see the corruption on the Left? The proof we have been shown over the last number of years especially. WikiLeaks, great investigative reporting by people such as James O’Keefe and Project Veritas and countless other sources. There is so much information out there, if you only care to read it and discern for yourself.
What IF Liberals utilized that open mind they love to talk about and actually used it? What IF they put their bias aside and really researched their heroes of the swamp?

Sadly, I think many Liberals subscribe to the notion of the political ideology they follow. They blindly stumble after anyone in their party. They blissfully ignore the scandals, the horrific breaches of national security and questionable behavior. They distract themselves from Leftist policies that stick a shiv into the backs of Americans, as they wade through the thick bog of corruption and hold their nose.
What IF a Liberal actually listened? What IF they actually learned the truth about the people they idolize? What would be the worst that could happen? I personally wish to always know the truth, no matter what it might be. Maybe that is why I’m a Conservative. ~~ Sister Patriot
