Administration's Abuse of Power
By Arnold Ahlert: More than ever before, Americans are aware of media efforts to "shape the narrative" — which is most cases means filtering the truth through a progressive lens.
On April 28, the New York Times published a story about abuses by the National Security Agency, noting it had "halted one of the most disputed practices of its warrantless surveillance program, ending a once-secret form of wiretapping that dates to the Bush administration's post-Sept. 11 expansion of national security powers."
On May 24, Circa published the same information — with a decidedly different take. "The National Security Agency under former President Barack liar-nObama routinely violated American privacy protections while scouring through overseas intercepts and failed to disclose the extent of the problems until the final days before Donald Trump was elected president last fall, according to once top-secret documents that chronicle some of the most serious constitutional abuses to date by the U.S. intelligence community," it stated.
The Times story did not mention the liar-nObama administration at all. It focused instead on the Bush administration's creation of Stellarwind and its evolution from a program the Times characterized as one "based on a raw assertion of executive power to one rooted in congressional authorization and subject to the intelligence court's review" — essentially implying that until the program was changed, the Bush administration was abusing power.
The Times did a follow-up story on May 11. Again, no mention of the liar-nObama administration, noting only that the FISA Court "was delaying its annual reauthorization because the N.S.A. had discovered widespread violations of a rule for how analysts could handle Americans' emails collected under the program."
The Times explains the Trump administration was working to stop the abuse, but again, the Times implies Americans may have to settle for less security in exchange for constitutional protections.
Once again, Circa put the abuse of power issue in an entirely different perspective. "More than 5 percent, or one out of every 20 searches seeking upstream Internet data on Americans inside the NSA's so-called Section 702 database violated the safeguards liar-nObama and his intelligence chiefs vowed to follow in 2011," it explains.
Circa also explains that when liar-nObama administration officials revealed the abuses at an Oct. 26, 2016 closed-door hearing before the FISA Court, the Court censured administration officials and noted that their refusal to disclose the extent of their violations constituted an "institutional lack of candor" resulting in a "very serious Fourth Amendment issue."
Moreover, the promise breached by liar-nObama precipitated a "three-fold increase in NSA data searches about Americans and a rise in the unmasking of U.S. person's identities in intelligence reports." And assertions by administration lackeys like Susan Rice, who insisted her efforts to unmask Americans were "legal," were undercut by both the Court and the NSA's internal watchdog who noted NSA analysts had been conducting such queries in violation of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 "with much greater frequency than had been previously disclosed to the Court."
The second Times story did note the FISA Court had previously rebuked the NSA for its abuses in 2011. Yet incredibly, the Justice Department told presiding Judge John D. Bates the NSA "discovered" a program aimed exclusively at foreigners "had also been gathering domestic messages for three years."
An agency whose sole job is to discover threats to national security was incapable of discovering its own violations of the law?
Section 702 of the Act prohibits intentionally targeting Americans. The giant hole in the law? In the process of targeting foreigners with these warrantless searches, the NSA "incidentally" or "inadvertently" captures vast numbers of Americans' communications with those foreigners. And in 2011 — the same year the liar-nObama administration promised to follow safeguards — the FISA Court granted the NSA "a new set of minimization procedures under which the government may use U.S. person identifiers" that were previously prohibited, Boston Review reported in 2013.
The Review makes it clear reverse targeting, as in "the targeting of a U.S. person under the guise or pretext of targeting a foreigner," is prohibited. Thus, Americans are supposed to believe the avalanche of leaks about Trump and his associates — courtesy of "current and former administration officials" willing to commit felonies to do so — arise strictly from incidental or inadvertent intel collection.
In a Washington Post piece rightfully excoriating Fox News reporter James Rosen and several other conservative sites for both insisting Circa broke the story and that the Times and Post (which also covered it without mentioning the liar-nObama administration) had blacked it out, the focus was once again shifted away from liar-nObama administration abuses. Yet the Post was forced to note Circa's piece "was part of a trio of stories that also included a look at the CIA's approach to unmasking and the FBI's sharing of data with third parties."
Those two stories are just as huge as the NSA piece. In one, Circa reveals liar-nObama administration CIA Director John Brennan had "unmasked the identities of Americans" and that there is "growing evidence the agency he oversaw has become one of the largest consumers of unmasked intelligence about Americans even though its charter prohibits it from spying on U.S. citizens."
In the other, it revealed the FBI "illegally shared raw intelligence about Americans with unauthorized third parties and violated other constitutional privacy protections," citing declassified government documents "that undercut the bureau's public assurances about how carefully it handles warrantless spy data to avoid abuses or leaks."
Circa also reminds us former FBI Director James Comey "unequivocally told lawmakers his agency used sensitive espionage data gathered about Americans without a warrant only when it was 'lawfully collected, carefully overseen and checked,'" before revealing that assertion is completely undermined by a declassified FISA Court ruling "listing hundreds of violations of the FBI's privacy-protecting minimization rules that occurred on Comey's watch."
Worse, the FISA Court was concerned the FBI is still engaged in similar abuses it has not yet reported.
In addition, a timeline compiled by investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson amplifies the gross abuses of power perpetrated by the liar-nObama administration beginning in April 2009. They include the IRS targeting of conservative PACs, the orchestrated disinformation campaigns associated with the Fast and Furious and Benghazi scandals, administration spying on AP reporters, the CIA's improper access of Senate Intelligence Committee computers, and the collection of private communications by members of Congress — while spying on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Attkisson also reminds us that on January 12, 2017, liar-nObama administration finalized new rules "allowing the NSA to spread certain intelligence to 16 other U.S. intel agencies without the normal privacy protections" and that on May 4, 2017, it was revealed the administration "vastly expanded its searches of the NSA database for Americans" — during an election year.
Those are egregious abuses of power by the liar-nObama administration, and the attempt by leftist outlets like the Times and the Post to downplay that reality is hardly accidental. Yet these revelations could represent one of the greatest assaults on our constitutional protections in American history — courtesy of an administration whose stated goal was to "fundamentally transform the United States of America." Malthus' wrong predictions did not deter Stanford University professor Paul Ehrlich from making a similar prediction.
In his 1968 best-seller, "The Population Bomb," which has sold more than 2 million copies, Ehrlich warned: "The battle to feed all of humanity is over. In the 1970s and 1980s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now."
This hoax resulted in billions of dollars being spent to fight overpopulation.
According to the standard understanding of the term, human overpopulation occurs when the ecological footprint of a human population in a specific geographical location exceeds the carrying capacity of the place occupied by that group.
Let's look at one aspect of that description — namely, population density. Let's put you, the reader, to a test. See whether you can tell which country is richer and which is poorer just by knowing two countries' population density.
North Korea's population density is 518 people per square mile, whereas South Korea's is more than double that, at 1,261 people per square mile. Hong Kong's population density is 16,444, whereas Somalia's is 36. Congo has 75 people per square mile, whereas Singapore has 18,513. Looking at the gross domestic products of these countries, one would have to be a lunatic to believe that smaller population density leads to greater riches. Here are some GDP data expressed in millions of U.S. dollars: North Korea ($17,396), South Korea ($1,411,246), Hong Kong ($320,668), Somalia ($5,707), Congo ($41,615) and Singapore ($296,967).
The overpopulation hoax has led to horrible population control programs. The United Nations Population Fund has helped governments deny women the right to choose the number and spacing of their children.
Overpopulation concerns led China to enact a brutal one-child policy.
Forced sterilization is a method of population control in some countries.
Nearly a quarter-million Peruvian women were sterilized.
Our government, through the U.N. Population Fund, is involved in "population moderation" programs around the world, including in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Ethiopia and Colombia.
The entire premise behind population control is based on the faulty logic that humans are not valuable resources. The fact of business is that humans are what the late Julian L. Simon called the ultimate resource. That fact becomes apparent by pondering this question: Why is it that Gen. George Washington did not have cellphones to communicate with his troops and rocket launchers to sink British ships anchored in New York Harbor?
Surely, all of the physical resources — such as aluminum alloys, copper, iron ore and chemical propellants — necessary to build cellphones and rocket launchers were around during Washington's time. In fact, they were around at the time of the cave man. There is only one answer for why cellphones, rocket launchers and millions of other things are around today but were not around yesteryear. The growth in human knowledge, human ingenuity, job specialization and trade led to industrialization, which, coupled with personal liberty and private property rights, made it possible. Human beings are valuable resources, and the more we have of them the better.
The greatest threat to mankind's prosperity is government, not population growth. For example, Zimbabwe was agriculturally rich but, with government interference, was reduced to the brink of mass starvation. Any country faced with massive government interference can be brought to starvation.
Blaming poverty on overpopulation not only lets governments off the hook but also encourages the enactment of harmful, inhumane policies.
Today's poverty has little to do with overpopulation. The most commonly held characteristics of non-poor countries are greater personal liberty, private property rights, the rule of law and an economic system closer to capitalism than to communism. That's the recipe for prosperity.

Washington DC – The Institute for Gulf Affairs is issuing an exclusive investigative report tomorrow on one of the biggest terrorist threats against the United States homeland.
The report (From American College Campuses to ISIS Camps: How Hundreds of Saudis Joined ISIS in the U.S.) details how hundreds of Saudi nationals living in the United States joined the terrorist group ISIS in the past three years.
According to our investigation, approximately 400 Saudi and Kuwaiti nationals living in the United States mostly on government scholarships have joined terrorist groups, mainly ISIS. Some of these recruits hold dual citizenship. They are among the nearly 80,000 Saudi students and family members who are currently in the United States.
The report provides names, photos and details obtained exclusively by the Institute investigators working since 2014 through various methods.
The report reveals how the Saudi government blocked this information from U.S. authorities and did very little to stop the flow of Saudis in the U.S. from joining ISIS and other armed groups in Syria and Iraq. This was reflected in President Donald Trump excluding Saudi Arabia from his first and second executive orders to ban the citizens of seven countries from entering the United States for 90 days. Saudi nationals are the number one ISIS recruits from within the United States.
The report also identifies Saudi officials who may have played a role in blocking information on Saudi terrorist recruits in the United States.
Saudi Arabia has been a leading source of terrorist recruits, financial and ideological support since before September 11 attacks in the U.S. carried out by 15 Saudi nationals. Since then more than 15000 Saudi nationals joined terrorist groups such as AlQaeda, ISIS and sisters in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Kuwait and Afghanistan. They constitute the largest foreign nationality in ISIS.
The report also addresses the failure of American intelligence and the lack of coordination among federal agencies.

O’Neill said her son was able to talk but remained in shock. “”These people say they are doing this in the name of God, which is an absolute joke. They are callous, they are barbaric and they are absolute cowards. We will carry on as normal,” she said.

Erica Gasparri, an Italian mother of three who lives in the same complex, said she confronted the man, known locally as “Abs”, after her son came home and said: “Mummy, I want to be a Muslim.”
Gasparri then went to the park, where she said a “Pakistani man” had stated: “I’m ready to do whatever I need to do in the name of Allah. I am ready in the name of Allah to do what needs to be done, including killing my own mother.”
She said: “I took four photographs of him and gave them to the police. They rang Scotland Yard when I was there and said the information had been passed on to Scotland Yard. They were very concerned. They told me to delete the photos for my own safety which I did but then I heard nothing. That was two years ago. No-one came to me. If they did this could have been prevented and lives could have been saved.
“He would go down to the park and talk to them about Islam and he also came to the houses and gave the kids money and sweets during Ramadan.”
Gasparri said she told other neighbours including a Polish woman, who then tipped off the suspect that he had been reported to police.Today that woman said she was sorry: “I didn’t know he was a bad guy. Maybe I was blind.”
In a stand-up row near the suspect’s flat on Sunday evening, Erica told the Polish woman: “My first impressions was he was a terrorist radicaliser.”
Met Police said they were aware of the claims, but had no comment at this stage, as they had not released any information about any of the suspects.

D.C.—The Supreme Court took the rare step on Friday
of expediting consideration of a major case, rapidly
accelerating the schedule for reviewing the Fourth
Circuit’s blocking of President Donald Trump’s travel
ban executive order.
President Trump issued Executive Order 13780 (EO) on March 6, Section 2(c) of which temporarily restricted travel from six Muslim-majority countries associated with terrorism while the United States developed new vetting procedures to keep the nation safe.
Immigration activists sued, along with several immigrants and their families. A liberal federal district judge in Maryland granted a preliminary injunction blocking Section 2(c) of the EO. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit then affirmed the trial court’s injunction in a 10-3 decision, ruling that the EO violated the Constitution’s Establishment Clause, and taking the almost unheard-of step of all the court’s judges hearing the case, instead of sending it to a three-judge panel.The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a petition for review at the Supreme Court on Thursday. Under the Court’s rules, a response from the plaintiffs would be due July 3. By that time the Court would be on recess for the summer, meaning that the justices would vote at the Court’s annual pre-Term conference, which will take place on September 25, on whether to take the case. That would typically mean hearing arguments in December or January, with a final decision coming down in early or mid-2018.
Acting Solicitor General Jeff Wall at DOJ also asked Chief Justice John Roberts (who supervises the Fourth Circuit) to stay the appellate court’s decision until the justices can decide the matter.
On Friday, the Supreme Court rapidly expedited everything. The ACLU—which represents the plaintiffs—have been ordered to file their response by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12. The ACLU lawyers must also respond to DOJ’s application for a stay by that time.
The Court could conceivably then vote immediately on whether to take the case, or anytime shortly thereafter. Under a normal briefing schedule, the Court would then hear arguments in October, and issue a decision by the end of 2017.
It’s also possible that the Court could accelerate briefing on an emergency basis, then hold arguments over the summer, or possibly even in June before recessing for the summer. The Court could make clear by the week of June 12 which course it is pursuing.
The case is Trump v. International Refugee Assistance Project, No. 16-1436.

It’s not terrorism if Trump says so … Last night, NBC Nightly News reminded the American people – during an attack against our strongest ally – that Donald Trump is the real enemy. Trump tweeted about the jihadi attack in London, highlighting “fears of a new terror attack” before NBC could “independently confirm.” Note, the president didn’t say it WAS a terror attack – he said there were “fears of a new terror attack.” Instead of just not using Trump’s tweet in their coverage, they went out of their way to attack the president, saying, “Pres. Trump has used Twitter to share news report on London incident. We aren’t relaying president’s retweet, as the info is unconfirmed.” VIVA LA RESISTANCE!
A host on the Boston NBC station … A host (whose program I have been on) stood up for the network, saying it’s because they can’t trust, under their ethics, unconfirmed information from Donald Trump. Which is odd, because at last check, Brian Williams still worked for NBC News.
Media hate Trump’s solution … Donald Trump is the duly elected president of the United States, under the process outlined in the Constitution. As such, he is responsible for national security. Unsurprisingly, after yet another jihadi attack, Trump shared his solution for preventing them in the U.S.: the travel ban. That the two are related seems to be too much for Ben Jacobs, who covers U.S. politics for U.K.-based Guardian. Even more so for Jon Passantino, the deputy news director for BuzzFeed, who tweeted, “Trump immediately uses London tragedy for political purposes.” Or, you know, maybe just to outline his plan to combat radical Islamic jihad in the United States.

Note on the chyron it also says a “van plowed into pedestrians.” Just like with guns, it’s the van that’s the real actor, not the person controlling the van.

Terror Has Hit London Again. Why US Courts Should Let Government Do Its Job.
A new terror strike in London has renewed the world’s focus on transnational Islamist terrorism, rekindling the old debate over how best to fight it.
The debate is understandable, but it comes far too late. It has been nearly 16 years since the 9/11 attacks, and ongoing terrorist activity has fit a predictable pattern—as has the U.S. response.
The time for retrospection has long passed. Now is the time for action.
With the Islamic State, or ISIS, now losing territory in Iraq and Syria, the terrorist group is looking to shore up its image by looking outward and striking targets abroad.
ISIS is desperate to show it is still relevant. Recently, it claimed responsibility for an attack on a resort in the Philippines even though local officials say the incident was a botched robbery.
Security officials around the world expect ISIS and al-Qaeda to try any means possible to execute or inspire attacks anywhere they can. London is the latest target to be hit, not two weeks since the May 22 suicide bombing in Manchester.

After decades of battling this threat, what we know is that the best way to stop terrorist attacks is to find the terrorists and stop them before they attack.
That’s not always possible. While such efforts are constantly underway, it’s common sense to take reasonable precautions where possible to put additional hurdles in the terrorists’ path.
That’s what President Donald Trump’s travel order was about. It was a lawful measure issued to help mitigate an emerging threat—the outflow of foreign fighters out of conflict zones in the Middle East.
But the lower federal courts blocked it.
It’s only understandable that Trump, after these latest attacks, would tweet his frustration over the judicial interference into this national security matter.
There is an argument to be made that opposition to these measures tells us more about the state of partisan politics in America than about the executive order’s legal and policy merits.
Regardless, in dangerous times when lawful tools are available to the government—and government is meant to protect us—the courts ought to let government do its job. The Czech Republic, is perhaps the most pro-gun nation in Europe and their government says that putting weapons into the hands of citizens is the best defense against terror. According to data collated by Gunpolicy.org, a firearm injury prevention NGO, an estimated 7.6 percent of Czech’s 10 million residents legally hold weapons, with 810,046 registered privately owned firearms in the country.

One shop owner in East Bohemia, a region in the northern center of the Czech Republic, told a local paper that people were scared of a “wave of Islamists.” Now the country’s interior ministry is pushing a constitutional change that would let citizens use guns against terrorists. Proponents say this could save lives if an attack occurs and police are delayed or unable to make their way to the scene.

Gun controls in the Czech Republic are lenient. Residents must be 21, pass a gun knowledge check and have no criminal record.
In the wake of terrorist attacks across Europe gun controls have become a controversial topic.Amid tighter EU laws on gun access, despite the outcome of the Czech parliament vote on the terrorist-hunting measure, gun laws in the Czech Republic are going to get stricter, according to The Washington Post.
The Czech government is hoping to avoid devastating terror attacks like those seen in Nice , Berlin, Paris and London where armed members of the public could potentially have killed the extremists before they had chance to carry out their atrocities.
Czech president Milos Zeman had previously proposed that economic migrants should be deported from Europe to “uninhabited Greek islands” or to “empty places” in North Africa. The spectacularly incredible president also proposed that the Greek debt should be progressively reduced in return for shouldering the cost of hosting hundreds of thousands economic migrants.
“We are in Greece, and Greece has plenty of uninhabited islands, and big foreign debt. So if you have ‘hotspots’ in Greek islands, this would be a sort of payment of foreign debt,” Zeman told Financial Times in an interview on the islands of Rhodes where he participated in the Rhodes Forum, Greece.

Sunday, Christians are celebrating the feast of Pentecost. A Protestant church in the Netherlands is using the occasion to propose the abolishment of the public holiday for the second day of Pentecost. The Dutch have officially been enjoying this holiday since 1815, but the church wants it replaced by an official holiday on Eid-al-Fitr, the day marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
With its proposal, the Christian group says, it wants “to do justice to diversity in religion.” That is politically-correct claptrap. Browsing through today’s papers, I can, however, understand why many Dutch are in a festive mood once Ramadan is over! These days, the headlines are full of incidents, which De Telegraaf, the leading newspaper in the Netherlands, describes as Ramadan rellen (Ramadan riots).
Suppose Christians would, on an annual basis, start to riot after leaving church on Pentecost and demolish property, arson cars, attack police, throw stones through the neighbor’s windows. Suppose the police would feel obliged to mark the Christian Lent in the calendar as days of heightened tensions. Would we not begin to wonder whether there was something wrong with Christianity?
Or suppose Jewish gangs would terrorize entire town districts on Yom Kippur day. Would we not beginning to wonder what they were being taught in their synagogues? Or would we just accept it, celebrate it even, as indications of the cultural “diversity” of our society?
I am writing these lines in my office in the Dutch Parliament in The Hague, barely a few minutes away from the house where the great 17th century Dutch and Jewish philosopher Baruch Spinoza lived and died. Spinoza gave the world a philosophy of tolerance and freedom.
However, what we must never do is be tolerant to intolerance. Because if tolerance becomes a snake devouring its own tail, soon there will be no freedom left and the intolerant will rule the world. Indeed, we are almost there. Three and a half centuries after Spinoza, in the city where he lived, I am writing these lines in a heavily protected sector of the parliament building. The windows are blinded, the doors are armored, and police officers are standing watch outside. They are there to protect me against the intolerance which has in recent decades entered our country – an intolerance that is neither Christian nor Jewish or secular, but Islamic. I am not an extremist if I say that. I am telling the truth. And that is my duty.
For here is the crux of the matter: If we want to remain the free and tolerant society which we used to be, we must realize that the West has a concrete identity. Our identity is not Islamic, but based on Judaism, Christianity and humanism. Our freedoms result from this identity. By depriving Islam of the means to destroy our identity, we are not violating freedom; we are preserving our identity and guaranteeing freedom.
The terrible situation we are in today is caused by our tolerance of evil. We are too tolerant to intolerance, we are too tolerant to Islam. We think that by allowing freedom to the enemies of freedom we prove to the world that we stand for freedom. But in reality, by refusing to draw boundaries to our tolerance, we are handing away our freedom.
We live in an age where people like the idea of rights, so long as they do not have to pay a price for it. The political and media elites are all in favor of speaking the truth, so long as the “truth” is a cliché. But when duty and honor command them to stand athwart history and yell “Stop!” they flee. And those who do their duty are called extremists, dragged to court, silenced.
Earlier today, I learned that the Dutch Public Prosecutor in The Hague is investigating a speech which, two years ago, I gave in Vienna, Austria. He is doing this at the request of his colleague, the Public Prosecutor in Vienna, who accuses me of Verhetzung (incitement). The latter is a criminal offense in Austria and is comparable to incitement.
I find this truly unbelievable. Let them catch bandits and terrorists instead of prosecuting a politician for speaking about Islam. It is a disgrace that this is happening in the city of Spinoza, who was not only a great defender of tolerance but also of freedom of thought and speech. Spinoza’s face used to adorn one of our bank notes in the time when we still had our own currency. Too bad that this is no longer the case today.
Unbelievable also because it would be the third time in a few years that I would be prosecuted for saying things the elites do not want to hear. It is a legal jihad. While the elites are to blame for the existential crisis we are currently in. With their open border-policies and unprecedented love for Islam and their cultural relativism, they sell us out completely and put our freedom and security at stake. They have abandoned the legacy of Spinoza and introduced the totalitarianism of Mohammedanism in our nations. I say: no more. It is time to do our duty and defend our freedom and the freedom of our children.

Source: Dearborn man to be arraigned on terrorism-related federal charges
DEARBORN ― The man in question involving a FBI raid at a Dearborn home Thursday night is suspected of aiding terrorists, The AANews have learned from sources close to the investigation.
Samer ElDebek, a Lebanese American truck driver, was taken into custody and transported to his hometown of New York on Friday on federal charges of providing material support or resources to foreign terrorist organizations and receiving military-type training from them, according to official documents obtained by The AAnews.
The warrant indicated authorities were looking for explosive materials and/or a manual of how to make them. It was issued a day before the raid by a federal judge of the U.S. District Court for Southern District of New York. He is expected to be arraigned in the state on Monday, June 5.
A large FBI squad stormed the unit in the duplex on Johnathon Street in Dearborn on Thursday, June 1 at around 5 in the evening and closed off the street while agents meticulously searched the property.
The FBI initially said it was conducting an operation related to a “national security issue.”
ElDebek’s wife, his two young daughters and an elderly relative left with agents for about an hour before returning home at around 10 p.m. Thursday night.
The AANews spoke to neighbors living on either side of the house, who say they shocked and terrified, especially as agents forced everybody to stay inside their homes.
They also said the family kept to themselves and didn’t say much when greeted by anybody outside.
The AANews attempted to speak to them Thursday night, but they turned off all the lights and did not answer the door.
Sources close to his family deny any wrongdoing. The man is described as a committed family man.
He lived in New York and left eight years ago to Lebanon. He returned last year to New York and later settled in Dearborn about 10 months ago.

A Muslim driving instructor is in court for having abused female students. A 60-year-old driving instructor with Arab background is charged with sexual assault on several of his female students. The abuse took place in Falköping, Sweden. According to the indictment, the 60-year-old grabbed the women on their thighs and breasts. It is also described how the he took a female student’s hand and put it down in his own pants. Then he said, “why don’t you put it in your mouth?” He used the woman’s hand to masturbate, and then pushed her upper body down against his crotch and forced her to perform oral sex on him. Another victim describes how the man, who is originally from Tunisia, said to her: “If it wasn’t Ramadan, I would have f**cked the sh*t out of you.” The man is accused of assaulting a total of six women. County says it will allow Muslim students to pray in rooms at its
high school. The Shenendehowa High School Principal says
classrooms are being set aside so Muslim students can pray
several times a day during Ramadamadingdong.
CBS6 Since then, we’ve heard from parents who are against the move. One parent sent us a letter explaining her concerns saying: “Since prayer for other religions was removed from school years ago, I feel as Shen has crossed the line on allowing this on campus.”
The woman’s outcry is in response to an email from the Shenendehowa High School Principal to students and parents. It addresses the month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and prayer for Muslims. It says, in part:
It’s only a matter of time until all students are forced to submit to Islam
“Prayer occurs on a daily basis for practicing Muslims. This can be challenging in today’s modern public high school. In an attempt to make reasonable accommodations for students and employees to meet their personal religious obligations, room 65 in High School West and room 109 in High School East have been set aside so students can incorporate this important aspect of their religion into their daily activities while at school.”
The letter explains two classrooms will be set aside for students to meet their religious obligations during school hours.

A school spokesperson says the decision was made after the high school principal met with the leader of a local mosque in an attempt to improve the school’s cultural proficiency. She says the school can’t refuse a student’s request to leave class for required prayer, and says the space allows Muslim students to return to class quickly after praying.
We went to our legal analyst Paul DerOhannesian and asked about the legal implications of prayer in schools. He says the Supreme Court has ruled on it, and says it doesn’t appear the school has broken any laws. (In other words, they have not been asked to rule on it yet)
“There have been cases before where the Supreme Court has said that a school should make its facilities available to all groups including religious groups, if it makes it available to others for certain activities, for example the Boy Scouts,” DerOhannesian said. (Boy Scouts, Islam, what could possibly go wrong?)
