The only difference is then it came right from satan. Now, he has easy pickings to find otherwise deluded mindsets in people who have no knowledge of God. It's all about God. Always has been. Did satan leave? Did the fallen ones leave? What happened to the offspring? They just jumped up and left? Where did they go? Why the impetus to child sacrifice? What WAS and IS sacrificed to Ba-al/Ba'al god? Children. It's always been children. The left is so spiritually accepting of satan, that even this is just fine with them, that is why abortion is an alter for them.
