(PatriotHQ) No more sinners, broken homes, shattered lives, homeless children, and burned-out souls? Is this why Churches are now courting homo-clubs, perverts, and adult entertainment? Or is there something else going on?

At least some people think the Church should concentrate on the Bible and needy souls. Protesters express their disapproval of a Christian church hosting a drag event marketed as "family-friendly" with the slogan "DEFEND PURITY, REJECT PERVERSION." The police in Sherman, Texas confirmed  off-duty officers were present to protect the attendees of the drag show held at the church.

Is it appropriate to bring children to drag shows? The big question is, is this adult entertainment or can a 14-year-old boy sit in Church and silently pray while a guy dressed as a floozie dances erotically in a sexual arousing manner.

A drag event took place at a Christian church in Texas over the weekend, which was open to families. This decision sparked protests from locals who urged attendees to "DEFEND PURITY, REJECT PERVERSION."

🤢 Originally planned at Pecan Grove Park, the May 13 LGBTQ event, named "Pride Prom," was relocated to the First United Methodist Church in Sherman, Texas. The event organizers promoted it as a "family-friendly drag show" and advertised it with a poster  displayed the original venue and the tagline "Pride Prom. Be True To You. Saturday, May 13th, 8-11 PM."

The poster highlighted  the event would feature "open mic karaoke" and a "family-friendly drag show" hosted by Alex Gemini. Grayson County Pride, an organization representing the local LGBTQ community, organized the event.

Reports revealed  the venue was changed last minute and ended up being held at the "Mosaic Campus" of the First United Methodist Church.

The church's website emphasized its commitment to inclusivity, stating  its members encompass people of various demographics, orientations, beliefs, and personal challenges.

Protestors, who acknowledged the occurrence of the event and the presence of drag queens and "fairies" at the church, drew attention to it. Prior to the event, the conservative advocacy group "Protect Texas Kids" utilized social media to organize a protest, inviting participants to join them with extra posters and water bottles.

🤮They also claimed,  "Drag shows are NEVER for kids." An updated flyer disclosed the venue change and stated  the "kid-friendly" drag show was moved to 118 W Pecan St in Sherman, which happened to be the First United Methodist Church.

On the evening of the event, Protect Texas Kids captured photos of the venue and recorded videos of guests entering the Methodist church. The group's Twitter account shared these videos, showing children going into the church alongside drag queens and an individual dressed as a "furry."

Images also depicted counter-protesters attending the event, including a "gay" Spiderman holding a rainbow flag, as described by the Christian Post. Another counter-protester was seen holding a rainbow flag featuring the motto "Don't tread on me" from the Gadsden flag.

In addition to Protect Texas Kids, members of the Catholic advocacy group "The New Columbia Movement" protested near the venue, marching with a flag displaying the words "DEFEND PURITY, REJECT PERVERSION" while reciting the rosary. 🥴

Witnesses reported  Sherman police officers were present outside the event, escorting the drag performers and the furry around the church. A spokesperson from the police department confirmed to The Christian Post  two off-duty officers were hired to provide security.

In my opinion: A bearded guy dressed up like a common street whore imitating sex acts through dance down the aisle of a Church would piss-off Jesus. The Church is His house of prayer, worship and Bible study and nothing less. The LGBTQ+ fxck bunch can take their sex sickness elsewhere.
