(PatriotHQ) Republicans laugh at the January 6th panel and Democrats have high hopes but the oblivious is being overlooked.
Congress is accepting the J6 panel as normal which ushers in a new type of judicial proceedings. Stare decisis is at full play.
In other words, future Congressional actions will look back and model their approach to thorny issues using the new standards set by the J6 panel, which just happens to be the old Soviet method of lynching.
Rep. Claudia Tenney, described the riots at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, was like a "Soviet-style" show trial, where the outcome was made up and set in stone.
During the first part of the congresswoman's interview on Monday, "The Chris Salcedo Show," Tenney compared the actions of the Jan. 6 panel to when she lived in "former Yugoslavia," which she calls "light communism," and "if you didn't agree with the government, they would put on a show trial. Because you protested against the government, they sent you to a deserted island where you spent your time in jail."
Tenney said this about the trial on January 6, which directly involves former President Donald Trump: "It looks very Soviet to me. The outcome was already set. They were good at what they did. They chose which pieces of evidence to use and which people to talk to."
According to a July 2021 report by the Associated Press, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., turned down Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Jim Banks, R-Indiana, who were chosen by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., to sit on the Jan. 6 panel. Pelosi cited "integrity" as the reason she turned down the nominations.
Pelosi said both Banks and Jordan voted to overturn President Joe Biden's election win after the Capitol was stormed.
"Out of respect for the integrity of the investigation, a desire to get to the truth, and worry about what these members have said and done, I must reject Reps. Banks and Jordan's recommendations to the Select Committee," said the House Speaker at the time.
Reps. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Jamie Raskin, D-Md., Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., Stephanie Murphy, D-Fla., Elaine Luria, D-Va., and Liz Cheney, Wyo., and Adam Kinzinger, Ill., both vocal Trump critics, made up the Jan. 6 panel.
Tenney said, "They didn't want President Trump or anyone else to be able to speak freely in a live setting because they wanted to make sure they could censor everything was said so they could prove their story, which was a lie. But this is not what our criminal justice system is about. Here, you're guilty until proven innocent."
The Washington Post wrote about the panel's statements in July 2021. Schiff suggested Cheney give the opening remarks because he thought it would make a "strong visual" as the committee got to work.
On Monday, the committee told the Department of Justice Trump had broken the law, but let’s face it, does the plaintiff have a reason to silence and disgrace Trump and therefore prejudice?
Only if they want to force Trump to end his campaign to be President.
Then again, why would a liberal panel try so hard to disqualify their opponent?
The answer is obvious…….
