If we take Trump's secret service protection, we need to take Obama's, Clinton's, and Carters. Obama sold guns to the Mexican cartels and they killed an American Border Agent, Clinton paid money to a horror and sued a federal employee to a blow job. Carter used to be the second worst President ever, but he lost his position to Biden. Biden's Secret Service protection would have to go also as he illegally let in over eleven million felons into the cournty, put heroin in the White House, and lied every day to the American public. So I serously doubt the criminal Dems want to go down this road.
I read the article expecting some proviso about National Security issues, but did not. The Orange elephant in the room must be called out: A former President of the USA cannot be stripped of secret service protection while he consciously lives.
This is because he has information in his head that requires his being secured for the rest of his life. Even the First Lady, who may be privy to information quietly spoken of in the bedroom, is afforded protection for just that reason.
So by virtue of National Security issues, surely this is a non-starter concern (not that I put anything past Progressive Socialists).
