Of all the hateful things the Democrats can do, it is to rip off our military, and that is exactly what they are doing! As the federal shutdown stretches into its third week, Washington’s political shit-masters are hitting America’s military hardest.

A Republican-backed bill that would have ensured continued pay for troops and provided essential Pentagon funding was blocked by Senate Democrats, underscoring the deep partisan divide over how to reopen the government.

Democrats, led by Sen. Chuck Schumer, argued that they could not support the defense appropriations bill without guarantees about what other spending measures Republicans might attach. Republicans countered that troops should never be used as leverage in broader budget fights.

The result? Service members’ livelihoods are once again caught in the crossfire of liberal hate tactics.

Republican leader John Thune warned that blocking troop funding sends the wrong message, not just to America’s armed forces, but to adversaries watching a divided Congress. “If they want to stop the defense bill,” Thune said, “I don’t think it’s very good optics for them.”

Democrats maintain that they are defending their ‘illegal alien-first’ agenda approach to reopening the government, rather than passing conservative measures.
