Desperate Dems Doing This? A congressman has revealed a whistleblower has claimed there are five assassination teams targeting President Trump.
Congressman Matt Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, recently stated he was told by a whistleblower from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) about five assassination teams were reportedly targeting former President Donald Trump. During the weekend, there was a second attempt on the life of Donald Trump, which raised major worries about the security around the former president. This unsettling disclosure occurred immediately before the second attempt.
During an interview on the television show Human Events Daily, Gaetz disclosed the whistleblower, who was a senior officer at the Department of Homeland Security, claimed there were five active assassination teams, three of which were inspired by foreign countries and two of which were located in the United States. The individual who disclosed the information approached Gaetz because they were concerned that the degree of protection surrounding Trump was insufficient in light of the threat level.
"I had a senior official from the Department of Homeland Security in my office before the second assassination attempt," Gaetz disclosed to reporters. "This individual assessed that there are five known assassination teams in the United States, three inspired by foreign governments, and two domestic teams."
During the most recent attempt on Trump's life, Secret Service officials approached an armed man lurking in the bushes at his Palm Beach golf property. The individual was attempting to bring Trump down. After further investigation, the suspect, who was eventually determined to be Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was taken into custody and charged with violating gun laws. In the fortunate turn of events, nobody was hurt during the incident.
Gaetz voiced his concerns on the distribution of security resources, alluded to the fact Trump's protective detail was being weakened. He questioned the reason why some of the teams who were supposed to be protecting Trump were instead shifted to other tasks, such as ensuring the safety of First Lady Jill Biden.
"Five teams we know are targeting Trump," Gaetz added to underscore the point. Consequently, this gives rise to genuine inquiries regarding the reasons behind the removal of specific teams from the Trump detail and the replacement of them with other teams, such as the Jill Biden detail. Despite the fact that we do not wish for anything negative to occur to Jill Biden, the amount of danger that was around her was far different from that which was surrounding President Trump.
In addition, Gaetz voiced his disapproval of what he referred to as a lack of reaction to security requests made by the Trump campaign. The campaign had requested enhanced protection for the former president. Gaetz claims the requests were not fulfilled, despite the fact that the threat was still escalating.
Asif Merchant, a Pakistani national, was charged by United States authorities with cooperating with Iran in an effort to hire a gunman to assassinate President Trump. This latest disclosure comes after the United States authorities charged Merchant. The arrest of Merchant took place on July 12, one day prior to an earlier attempt on Trump's life took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. The authorities continue to be watchful regarding potential threats against President Trump and other officials in the United States, despite the fact no further plots have been made public.
After being briefed on the recent assassination attempts, members of Congress acknowledged the threat, but they stated they had not been specifically informed of the five assassination teams. On the other hand, they established the existence of various plans inspired by Iran targeted officials from the United States.
According to senior federal law enforcement and intelligence sources who spoke anonymously to an undisclosed news source, it has been confirmed the United States authorities have been aware of ongoing plots that are connected to Iran and other terrorist organizations and target both current and former officials of the United States. High-profile individuals such as Donald Trump, former President George W. Bush, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former national security advisers John Bolton and Robert O'Brien have been subjected to increased protection as a result of these threats, many of which are believed to be in retaliation for the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in the year 2020.
A man named Shihab Ahmed Shihab Shihab, who was an Iraqi native, was taken into custody in 2022 after attempting to bring individuals into the United States with the intention of assassinating President George W. Bush. After that, he entered a guilty plea to the federal counts.
