Martyr, Murder Or Cancelled? [Video]

10969893470?profile=RESIZE_584x(PatriotHQ) Los Angeles, Detroit and other liberal crime hotbeds are riddled with murder. Many times, the result of a home invasion, but sometimes there needs to be a second look!

Sad Headlines. Bishop shot dead in his Los Angeles home!  This begs the question, was this a murder perpetrated by a home invasion or possible robbery? Or was his death the result of retaliation against the Catholic Church for their stand against several liberal policies?

Was Bishop David O'Connell, Martyred, Murdered Or Cancelled?

If it is discovered his death was the result of a new Christian inquisition, then who will be next? Will Priests, Preachers, Rabbis, and Holy-Men have a price on their heads because of their theological beliefs be antithetical to the liberal cancel culture?

Here’s the facts. Bishop David O'Connell of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles attends a news conference at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Fall General Assembly meeting on November 17, 2021 in Baltimore. Saturday, February 18, 2023, O'Connell was discovered dead in Hacienda Heights, California, from a gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Times.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a Roman Catholic bishop in Southern California was discovered dead from a gunshot wound on Saturday.

The newspaper reported Bishop David O'Connell was discovered around 1 p.m. in Hacienda Heights.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, homicide detectives responded to "an investigation into a shooting death." An adult male victim was discovered and declared dead at the scene.

The fatal shooting is being investigated as a suspicious death by detectives. According to the outlet, they have not released any additional information about the suspect or suspects involved.

Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles confirmed the death, stating O’Connell, who served as a priest and later bishop in the city for 45 years, "died unexpectedly."

"I have no words to express my sorrow," Gomez said in a statement, referring to him as a "good friend."

He said, "Bishop Dave was a man of profound prayer who cherished Our Blessed Mother." "He was a peacemaker with a heart for the poor and the immigrant, and he had a burning desire to build a community in which the sanctity and dignity of every human life were respected and upheld."

Prior to becoming a priest, O'Connell had been a member of the Catholic community in Los Angeles for 45 years. In 2015, Pope Francis appointed O'Connell an auxiliary bishop.

O'Connell, who was born in Ireland, studied for the priesthood at Dublin's All Hallows College. In 1979, he moved to California. After ordination, he served as an associate pastor at several Los Angeles parishes.

O'Connell played a significant role in assisting immigration in California. He led the Southern California Immigration Task Force, which assists Central American immigrant children and families.

Hacienda Heights is an unincorporated community located approximately 20 miles (30 kilometers) east of Los Angeles's downtown.

Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Janice Hahn tweeted, "I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Bishop O'Connell." He was a longtime companion. During my time on the city council and as Supervisor, I had the privilege of working with him.

I mourn his passing alongside Archbishop Gomez and the people of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

In conclusion: Bishop David O'Connell came to an untimely death and it looks like at the hands of another. If the story ends there, then it is still be a tragedy but something doesn’t fit. He was working on behalf of a religious organization which is opposed to abortion and is not embracing same sex marriage nor supportive of other liberal agenda items.

Did Bishop David O'Connell die because of his beliefs, a act of murder or his theology just got in the way and he was cancelled?

Therefore, he could have been an easy target, a test subject for a test inquisition. Martyr, Murder Or Cancelled?

However, is this just may be a conspiracy theory. Then again……

  • I thought Kalifornia had strick gun laws!

  • He also worked with "immigrants"......were those legal or illegal? While priests are usually against abortion, many are because that's what their religion demands, not necessarily a personal feeling......especially when they get someone pregnant. Most priests are socialists, few are true conservatives, so he could have had enemies on both sides.
