Political Dark Ages Blind America

Jan_van_Eyck_Diptych_Crucifixion_Right_hellscape_1024x1024.jpg?v=1612906112&profile=RESIZE_400x(PatriotHQ) Jeremiah 5:21 - Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not!

Isn’t this exactly what is happening today! The hate of Donald Trump is digging a grave not only for future Democrats with political ambitions but for all office holders and candidates! The genie is out of the bottle and there is no way to get him back in!

The Dark Ages of politics have descended on America. Government operations are cloked in lies, hate and maleficence paving the way for a tyrant from either side of the aisle to swoop in and grind any opposition into dust and destroy the fabric of who we are as a nation.

Political Lawyers fear indicting former President Donald Trump lowers political prosecution standards and puts them on a slippery path and into a path of darkness.

With Trump's arraignment, numerous perspectives worried about the US. Several Republicans believed imprisoning a former president on a bookkeeping misdemeanor would advance political persecution. Democrat Michael Shellenberger, author of the Twitter Files, warned it would turn America into a banana republic.

"New York's progressive district attorney promised 'not to seek a prison term' for crimes 'other than homicide' or other severe felonies," Shellenberger wrote. "This isn't Trump's best move. This is how decent countries become banana republics."

Strategist and former House GOP leader Vin Weber predicts several futile lawsuits following Trump's indictment.

" This sets a terrible example for the country," Weber told The Hill. "It's awful for America, Republicans, and our government. This road is irreversible. Impeachment showed this."

""We're going to see political prosecutions," he adds. But this harms America and our government."

Weber added Trump is the 2024 Republican presidential front-runner, "another whole component" of this lawsuit. One Hill rumor claims Trump's next in-person hearing will be December 4. Two months before the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Weber adds, "There are people in this enormous country who don't have the best intentions, and you want them to be stopped by the rules we've set up, even if they're simply informal rules." These rules protect the system!

"If we destroy this wall of precedent, people all around the country will find grounds to do political prosecutions." Weber added several members had considered charging President Joe Biden and his son Hunter after his first tenure.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and other critics noted while Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 before the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton's campaign spent $1 million to Fusion GPS for its work on the Steele Dossier, which started the Trump Russia-gate fake.

"Cruz claims Hillary Clinton paid $1 million for the Steele Dossier during the 2016 presidential campaign. Her opposition research team created this fictitious story, which sadly formed the basis of Mueller's probe."

Cruz notes  Hillary, like Trump with Daniels, claimed the Steele Dossier research money was for legal fees. "Clearly this is partisan politics," Bragg says.

In conclusion. Dark days are here when learned scholars agree the actions of a few destroy the freedom of the many and thus brings darkness into the eyes of Lady Liberty unable to see right from wrong, truth from lie and honesty from chicanery.

What do I think?  I think it is time that Lady Liberty takes the blinders off and picks up the brass knuckles...  Political debate has turned the corner and is no longer cordial or peaceful... it has become the stuff of street gangs and the lawless.

    • Ck this link out! WOW! https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/field-of-blood_article-18097...

Before the Civil War, Congress Was a Hotbed of Violence
A new book from historian Joanne Freeman chronicles the viciousness with which elected officials treated each other
    • Just what the doctor ordered... a little moral exercise in pugilism...

    • Yup! Look at how Congress was conducted just before the Civil War......see any similarities?

    • Sorry, I meant yes... there are surface similarities...violence being the prominent link between then and now...

However, the pre-civil war violence was based on ligitimate constitutional issues not the whimsical and often pernicious squabbles of today's despicable rouges.  There at least existed some semblance of HONOR among the parties of that era... not so much today, as the arguments change regularly, exposing the underlying principles as the FRAUD and he fruit of hypocrisy.

The Southerners in Congress at least had a sincere belief in the moral and lawful standing of their positions on slavery and state rights.

    • No... Back then men didn't wear dresses or become confused when asking for directions to the lady's room...  One of my favorite, if not favorite, Presidents was Andrew Jackson... a man quick of wit and quicker with his pistols... duals were a political solution to many a roadblock in Congress...

  • Government of the people, by the people, and for the people must derive its authority from a power greater than those instituting its functions... Wherever governments are merely the construct of men, humanity is most miserable... such inferior governments... are subject to the imperfect, and often arbitrary will of one's neighbor. Those forms of government (humanities best) struggle to DEFINE themselves and the rights of those it governs.  Such governments are in constant arbitration and turmoil.

However, a government that defines itself using a moral code greater than the sum of mankind's will... is not subject to the arbitrary and pernicious proclivities of humanity... it is ordained by God.  Godly government is stable and consistent in its Laws and administration.  Such governments provide the greatest stability and liberty for mankind when administered by moral and religious societies.

America's problems are moral and spiritual...not functional or structural.  Until her people return God to His rightful place at the head of Government and the family they will continue to suffer under the arbitrary and pernicious rule of tyrants.

    • Rome, Greece and most all fallen empires had moral decay before collapse.

America will fall faster and be crushed by waves of illegal migrants swarming in America to pick her bones clean!

    • ADMIN

Unfortunatly, you are correct and the Dems knows it! Well Spoken, but sad.

    • Yep, and the unrestricted immigration and introduction of pagan culture and mores only hastened the decline and fall of these ancient civilizations. There is an important historical lesson here, and we should pray that our people learn from it.
