Why are we not being told the truth about the 'Red Wave's impact on government... There are ONLY 14 Democrat Senate seats standing for election this midterm. THE GOP NEEDS TO PICK UP 17 SEATS to reach the 67 Vote threshold needed to override a Presidential VETO in the Senate. If the GOP Picks up EVERY Senate seat standing for election this midterm they will have 64 Seats… 3 seats short of the 2/3rds needed to override a Presidential Veto. Any legislation the Democrats want to kill will die in the US Senate under a Presidential VETO.
In the House of Representatives... the GOP needs to pick up 75 seats, to reach the 290 Votes required to override a Presidential veto in the House. The greatest number of seats lost in a midterm election by any party was 63 seats. The GOP will need to keep all their current seats and pick up 75 seats, to reach the magic number of 290 votes to override a Presidential Veto in the House. That is a feat never before accomplished in the House.
Should the GOP pick up the seats needed in the House, they will not have the votes in the Senate to override a Presidential Veto. Further, it will be IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVICT BIDEN IN THE SENATE upon impeachment by the House... There are not enough votes in the US Senate to convict and remove Biden... Some Red Wave? It will not return Constitutional government or lead to the removal of Pres. Biden.
The RED WAVE IS A SICK JOKE... even if the election is not rigged and the GOP takes control of both houses of Congress, it will not be able to override a Presidential Veto in a straight party vote. There is no doubt that the US Senate will be at least 3 GOP VOTES short. of the required 67 votes to override a veto. Why hasn’t the GOP told the people the truth about the Red Wave? The Midterm elections will not stop Uncle JOE from running away with our government and economy, by using Executive Orders.

I am not so pessimistic. Let’s not forget Congress can do the following without Presidential consent:
Raise and provide public money and oversee its proper expenditure (control the House Ways and Means Committee)
Try federal officers
Approve presidential appointments
Approve treaties negotiated by the executive branch
Oversight and investigations
Speaker of the House Control - 3rd in line to be President
Each of the above powers of Congress require the President to sign off, appoint, or negotiate the language of the policy (treaties, trade, and defense agreements, etc.) passed by Congress. Congress doesn’t operate alone in the execution of its Constitutional powers.
Having the Speaker in our corner is great.... if we have a President willing to sign Congress’s programs, BUDGET, bills and acts, treaties and foreign agreements, into law. Let us remember, the Budget Act must be signed into law, before one dime is spent. Passing and enacting Congress’s budget could take 2/3rds of Congress to vote too override a Presidential veto. We have been there before and what usually has happened is a CONTINUING RESOLUITON is used to fund the government… AT CURRENT LEVELS.
If the GOP controls both houses of the next Congress the US SENATE will not have the votes to override a Presidential Veto. If the GOP manages to hold onto all its current seats and takes all of the open Democrat seats in the next election, they will start the next Congress with 64 seats in the US Senate. The GOP will be 3 Seats short of a veto proof senate…it takes 67 votes to override a presidential veto in the US Senate... and no one is talking about that. No one.
The coming GOP controlled Congress will be unable to pass anything over a Presidential Veto. As for oversight and congress’s investigation powers. Congress is powerless to enforce its findings without an Administration willing to cooperate… Biden’s Administration is not going to prosecute its own, and they will refuse to act on Congress’s oversight recommendations... The DOJ and FBI are hardly in our corner.
What will Congress do… IMPEACH… that takes a 2/3rds vote in the US Senate to convict and remove a President… The GOP will be at least 3 seats short of that vote. The same goes for trying or impeaching federal officers. The DOJ is full of turn coats and Marxist sympathizers, if not outright communist. Do you actually think any of Biden’s key staff would be impeached or prosecuted? Heck.. we can’t prosecute Hunter… with his nose full of crack and his bank account full of bribes from China and others.
Treaties and foreign policy ... defense agreements and trade policy are all ultimately controlled by the Administration not Congress... Border policy, immigration, fiscal policy, all of the things we need to manage the return of Constitutional Government are in the hands of the Marxist’s Administration and the Office of President... the President and his Administration... backed by what MAY BE a weakened but not powerless Democrat minority in the US Senate and House... They will have the VETO to leverage and negotiate compromised legislation and budgets. We can not get rid of the VETO... it is constitutional law.
Let us remember that Sen. Mitch McConnell will be in charge of the US Senate … and it was he who blocked many of President Trump’s programs and appointees… refusing to remove the 60 vote cloture rule and various committee rules blocking Trump appointees. At best the GOP will have 64 votes of the 67 required to override a Presidential veto. McConnell will be able to claim he can do a thing to pass GOP reforms … look for McConnell to repeat over and over… it takes 67 votes to override Biden’s certain veto. McConnell is unlikely to even try to find 3 Democrats to override a veto.
As for appointments… McConnells record on judicial appointments is abysmal. He is unlikely to block even the most liberal judges. McConnell stood against Trump on several appointments… and would not change the Senate’s committee rules to allow a floor vote on several of Trump’s key appointments… he is unlikely to block Biden… as McConnell is not a conservative and has some serious ties with Communist China.
The Red Wave is likely to hit a Blue Wall… VETO! There simply are not enough open Democrat seats in the US Senate to reach the 67 votes needed to override a Presidential Veto. The midterm election will not bring significant relief to the conservative cause.
Yup, the Repubs will gain power in Congress but we can't forget the Governor races. Conservatives can close the loop if we win in 2024.

It seems that someone with some authority, or some group of individual citizens through a class action lawsuit, might come together charging that the use of executive orders is an unconstitutional means of Executive anthority to govern as it is currently being used.
I realize that Trump used it too, but then even though it was constitutional abuse in doing so the Nation benefitted enormously from his policies. With Biden it is just the reverse. His cavalier use of the technique benefits only himself and his un-American policies are designed to weaken the Nation and advance corruption by muddying the water to allow even more of it. He knows full well that he is a fraud, and in office due to fraud, and so do most people who are open eyed and willing to see the ugly truth of his so-called presidency.
My personal view is that the Department of Justice and all those institutions falling under it are so corrupt themselves that Justice, real Justice, is no longer a threat to the behavior of those who need it most. Biden is not a mere political problem that will go away with an election. He is a Criminal Problem, and if left unaddressed will only worsen like an untreated cancer on the body of the Nation.
Do we have any good Lawyers out there willing to stand up and bring charges? Or does everyone just sit on their butts and do nothing.

That SOMEONE with authority and standing to bring legal action… to stop the abuse of Executive Orders is the GOP/RNC and its leaders in Congress... the supposed opposition party. It is normally the opposition party that brings such legal action to bear on rogue government policy. However, a true opposition party no longer exists.
